Recep, I am not really sure what is so controversial here. "lei shan dao" is a descriptor term. It is not an actual lineage itself. No mo pai members go around telling people mo pai is a "lei shan dao" school. That is a description given to the mo pai school by verdesi. If I really wanted to trash talk Verdesi I'd use better examples than the fact he coined a term to describe schools which use yin/yang gong. I don't really have the energy or desire to argue about it though. I am of the mindset as of late that ****** people deserve to get ripped off, and I won't waste my energy trying to persuade them otherwise. Best of luck in your studies with Verdesi.

Feel free to contact Dr. Verdesi yourself and ask him about it. 雷 léi thunder 閃 shǎn lightning 道 Tao/Dao 'way', 'path', 'route', or sometimes more loosely, 'doctrine' or 'principle' Verdesi created this name to categorize schools which work with both yin and yang energies. For example, to complete Level Four, I left my home and went into the jungle for a year. I did this in order to reach a state of total calm. I reverted to the primitive; this is most important. Your mind must be utterly still for yang and yin to come together. I myself managed to complete Level Four within a year of finishing Level Three, you know.” - Danaos, Kosta The Magus of Java (p. 97)

The word "Lei Shan Dao" has not been used prior to David Verdesi, he is the creator of this word. There may be schools which work with both yin and yang energies which can fit his definition.

Actually the Lei Shan Dao is just a term coined by David Verdesi. Also in earlier posts you asked why try to stop rebirth as we never really die. This is essentially true, we never really die. What happens however is our conscious mind scatters to the wind and becomes one with the world again, what remains is an unconscious dreaming mind, it cannot create anything new, nor understand emotion, it is just a passive observer. Eventually rebirth will occur when it is paired with a new yang spirit. If this doesn't bother you there is no reason at all to try to do anything to change it.

I've run into many issues with multiarch support issues trying to run some 32-bit packages along with 64-bit ones. I think in the future this will be worked out, but I just always stick with the 32bit as my machine isn't that amazing anyway.

So you met Lin in person and trained with him in Kung fu, or you met him on the internet and trained with him in Kung fu online?
-
Naziri, I am still curious how you met Lin, and why you think he is the real deal. A question you've ignored repeatedly.

No wonder they don't like us.

You guys just leaked his private emails and photos everywhere, now you leak his book as well? Don't you think that's adding insult to injury when it's like 5 bucks on Kindle?

It's all belief... Some beliefs are rooted in observation, others in faith. I don't have faith.

If you want to believe attaining enlightenment in a Buddhist/nondual since will stop rebirth don't let me stop you.
-
Enlightened (in a non-dualistic sense) beings still die, and their yang spirit still scatters to the wind, and their yin spirit is subject to the same process all other yin spirits are subject to.
-
Enlightenment as I understand it is the realization of nonexistence of self, abiding nondual awareness. An enlightened being is still going to lose their yang spirit at death, and what will remain will still be just a passive yin only spirit that will be reincarnated.

No relation that I am aware off, just a scammer who rips people off. Before he got into taoist texts he scammed people saying he would mail them rare amulets and such: http://amuletforums.com/exposing-unscrupulous-and-t7800.html -
Mopai Discussion With Grandmaster Lucas Huang

It would cost me more in legal fees to discover his real identity, then take him to court in his country, than it would ever be worth as I'd spend more in legal fees than I could recover. If I were rich I would do so on principal. I have more in the bank than most people I know but still not enough to go around blowing it on such silly pursuits. -
If one wishes to end the cycle of rebirth, reaching level 30 or higher in the mo pai is one of the only possible ways to do that, there may be a few other schools with reasonable facsimiles, but they aren't taught openly or known to the general public. Achieving enlightenment in a Buddhist sense doesn't break the cycle of rebirth.

I went back and reread it, none of these translations contain what I would consider actual instruction.

Yes do you have page numbers?
