Bashar: the indescribable Taoist Sage?
Thunder_Gooch replied to Everything's topic in General Discussion
If I ever met this douche in real life I would punch him in the face. It is because of newage retards like him, that no one can take Taoist practices like neigong seriously. I would like to punch this douche too: -
I've been considering going back to finish a bachelors in chemistry then pursuing a 4 year Pharm D. program for pharmacy. The pay is good and I think I would enjoy the work and I can't really find any other career options I am interested in. One thing that keeps eating me alive inside though, is I know that that some people who took medication I handed out would die, either from having a wrong prescription from their doctor or an overdose. As much as I try to rationalize it, I still am worried about the karmic consequences of having such a career. What are your thoughts on this matter?

Any ideas on ethical jobs?

I believe that we are not our bodies, we are an energetic phenomenon. Our consciousness is like a candle flame and the candle is our physical form. I believe that after death the base awareness whatever it is that is experiencing this reality will continue on, without it's previous life's memories or identity or ego, in some new form eventually.

Not to insult you, but I think you have a bit too much moon energy and need to ground it out to reach a healthy balance. -

I believe all the teachings from level 1 are covered in spring forest qigong, although they are spread out and unconnected in the SFQ training material. Also contained in longmen pai. -

I combined posts to save space, go look and quit whining. The mo pai book was a scam, sorry I got duped. Had it been real I would have made sure everyone that everyone that wanted a copy would have gotten a copy of it at a price split x number ways from the original purchase price. -
Claymore was the best anime released in recent memory, the anime culture has drifted off into cutesy wootsy crap as of late and it's hard to find anything that doesn't suck so bad it hurts.

Sorry that's a bunch of BS someone made up, the level 1 and 2 methods have been posted here before here on thetaobums in plain sight even. Also if you take a longmenpai seminar you will learn the same exercises contained in level 1, and an exercise similar to level 2a in some ways. Also it's not like Jim didn't leave his email address here on thetaobums for people to contact him or anything. -

I am very glad that worked for you. Please do keep an eye out for negative behaviors and events like this again over the first 2-3 years or so that you live together, see if she is really sincere about pulling her own weight. It has been my observation that once marriage and kids are involved power dynamics in the relationship change dramatically. I have trouble seeing any good in relationships because I have seen first hand how ugly they can get.
