I have a paid lifetime membership here at thetaobums. I have no ad's on my site and make no profit from it, I sell no products there, I don't offer classes and I don't teach. It's just a discussion forum geared more towards people who are interested in actually training rather than mindless philosophical bantering and pointless bickering as seems the norm on this forum.

I provide a free forum, I don't run a scam taking people's money. Lucas has a history of creating new low post alt accounts to promote his scam. What he runs is indeed a scam. This guy has ripped off several people here for hundreds of dollars never sending the items they bought.

This is a great idea! There are several members I feel are just spam bots and I find everything they post really obnoxious. I would love to be able just to not see any topics they create in addition to not viewing their posts

Everything you buy, takes energy, lots of it. From harvesting the raw resources, to manufacturing, to distribution. Energy is required at every step of the process. If we had incredibly cheap energy both electrical and for transportation we could reduce the cost to manufacture everything drastically. It would mean that everyone everywhere would be able to enjoy a much higher standard of living than we do today, and we could get cheap energy to the developing world to help them get out of poverty. Oh and we wouldn't have to go and kill hundreds of thousands of innocents to take their oil. Just my $0.02
