To date we have wasted 1.2+ trillion dollars on the war on terror since 2001. Just a fraction of that money would have been plenty to make the USA completely energy independent using LFTR technology. It is absolutely absurd if you ask me.

thanks I plan on making a youtube video eventually I am in the process of vetting my information with more knowledgeable people. I also want to make a site to help people email their elected officials about it, and the major news networks, and magazines. So far my fact list and I am fairly certain it is accurate is this:
-
I've seen a lot of good evidence to support a belief in chi such as the investigation of John Chang, as well as the Harvard studies of tummo practitioners, as well as studies I've read that document infrared, infrasonic and electrostatic emissions from practitioners hands during chi emission. Chi also is something that anyone given correct training can perceive in deep meditation, I didn't really believe in it till an experience I had in 2005. What I see from you is a very excited person who has watched all these documentaries on free energy and is convinced it is real. Ok. So build one yourself and prove it to be real. Right except you lack the engineering expertise to build one, and the correct plans to build a real functional unit. Basically my thoughts are put your money where your mouth is. LFTR on the other hand, we actually built them before, and we know for a fact they work. Even if over unity, Zero point energy, or whatever is real it hasn't been proven like LFTR. Until it has it's worthless.
-
I am just trying to be rational here, I've never seen or heard of an over unity device that wasn't a fraud. Remember steorn's orbo? Fraud. Just about every free energy device that has been put to the test turned out to be a fraud, or didn't work. Now you can dream up crazy conspiracy theories for why there aren't plans for functional prototypes being shared or home brew devices powering homes and businesses all day but frankly it's getting old man. And it's a little silly I think to be honest. I am willing to entertain that maybe these technologies are being suppressed, even so it's irrelevant. The facts are, we haven't seen any free energy proven repeatedly to work, and been independently reviewed to work. Even if they aren't being independently reviewed because they are being suppressed by the government, or corporations, or Illuminati or lizard people is irrelevant. We do have a technology that was proven to work that solves our energy problems for thousands of years. All we have to do is make everyone aware of it, get people angry enough to yell at their representatives every day, and protest in droves and eventually we will have it. Free energy, over unity, ZPE or whatever else is most likely just fraud, I don't care who you have lecturing on how real it is, until they get their heads out of the sand and deliver some functional demo units in mass to engineers and scientists world wide it's BS as far as I am concerned.

I bought hydrogen once because it was cheaper than helium for a project that involved large balloons. That is just one example of a product that requires lots of electricity to produce and is in demand. Oxygen gas as well. You can realize a good profit just from selling hydrogen and oxygen gas made via electrolysis. If you could heat your business and home as well as get free electricity (free transportation if you have a plug in hybrid) and sell electricity you could make a lot of money just doing that, if you kept it secret there is no reason it wouldn't work. Yes there is likely to be major political resistance to LFTR, but we know for a fact and have verified it can solve our problems for thousands of years. We will run out of uranium in 40 years or so, and oil in about that much. We have to do something or we will collapse into chaos. The LFTR community is working hard to get the word out. I myself am trying to put together a campaign for people to contact their representatives and major news networks to get this issue more attention. I plan on making youtube video's and creating a donation site to get advertisements in newspapers and magazines etc. Overunity as much as you keep going on and on about it, has never once been demoed working that it hasn't turned out to be a fraud. There are plans for them but no one has been able to make one work, mostly you say because the inventors are too greedy to give out their secrets. I am sorry but personally I think it's hogwash. Show me the money then I might change my mind.
-
The thing is if I can cheaply build an unlimited fuel free energy source like a MEG or some other Zero point energy device, I could get rich and keep it secret, then after I had enough to move out of the usa and retire I could travel to meet scientists and produce demo units. That isn't happening. The only logical explanation is that inventors are too stupid to use the electricity to profit, or the devices if they work as advertised cost too much to build to get much energy from. I want to believe.

Let's use a technology called called E-cat as an example. It's being examined in a one year research program at the University of Bologna in Italy. It is probably a scam like all the others but hopefully they will let major universities examine the technology. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/mar/17/nuclear-future-beyond-japan/ http://www.nyteknik.se/nyheter/energi_miljo/energi/article3166552.ece

If such a device could be built on a low budget something like a MEG, and shown to work then independently verified hundreds of times over, it would revolutionize everything. For whatever reason this isn't happening. The facts are this, we have LFTR a technology we have already built and validated, that can solve all our energy problems safely for thousands of years. Overunity hasn't been validated yet, for whatever reason. If I had a functional MEG just powerful enough to light a low wattage compact florescent bulb or small motor or something, and could prove it actually worked. I could start traveling and letting hundreds of scientists and engineers see what I had built. If I could convince just two people, and convince them to build more prototypes and convince 2 more each, it could start a tidal wave. So far... no one on earth has done this that I am aware off. The parts for a small MEG don't look like they would break the bank, and if they could just power something small with just a proof of concept, it looks like enthusiasts everywhere would be building them and selling them on ebay. I want to believe, but the free energy community is much like the spiritual community. It is filled with nuts, liars and frauds. That is why most people don't take either the free energy community or the spiritual community seriously.

What strange claim do you want an explanation for? LFTR technology is largely unknown to both the general population, and most scientists, but we did validate the tech and we've built and tested LFTRs before. The LFTR community is tying to make the technology known to more people, scientists included. For the most part it is a forgotten technology. Overunity devices on the other hand have never been validated, and will never be accepted by the mainstream scientific community until they are. Associating LFTR technology with overunity or anything else deemed to be crackpot science even if it turns out to be real and legit at this point in time stands only to hinder it's acceptance greatly.
-
Overunity may exist, and it may be repressed. As it stands now though, until someone can mass produce demo units that actually work it's going to remain snake oil, quackery, crackpot science in the eyes of the scientific community. Until that changes LFTR technology offers a way to solve our energy problems safely with verified technology. LFTR technology for the most part is unknown, know one has ever heard of it. They don't teach about it in any classes in any graduate schools or PhD programs. We built and tested LFTR and they ran fine, but they were of no use to the weapons program. The LFTR community is trying to get the word out saying hey guys, we've got a solution to all our energy problems! We've known about it since the 50's and 60's and we've built LFTRs before. It can safely fix our energy problems for thousands of years till we figure something better out. Trying to get that message out is hindered by people associating or advocating what mainstream science considers crackpot science, over unity and free zeropoint energy or whatever. Sure it may exist, but it hasn't been verified and proven like LFTR has.
-
The difference in LFTR and overunity is that we've built and demonstrated LFTR as a viable technology. This is the first step in making it happen. Irregardless if overunity has been suppressed or not, it hasn't been demonstrated as a viable technology and you won't be able to get the scientific community behind it until it has. Until over-unity has been thoroughly validated it's worthless and will never be accepted, so it's a lot smarter to focus on a proven technology. I get frustrated sharing info on LFTR only to be met with you can power your car on water or get energy from the vacuum type stories. One is a proven technology and the other isn't. Also it detracts from the credibility of LFTR technology for it to be associated with what mainstream science classifies as quackery or crackpot science. If an overunity device is so expensive to build and the power it generated so small, that it would be cheaper to use a real solar panel instead, it isn't much of an overunity device. You seem so convinced that overunity or zero point devices are real, so well build a MEG or something similar and power a small CFL light bulb or something continually. Prove it's not snake oil and build one and show to us, just a suggestion. Once you get a spare working I will be the first person to buy one, me and about 10,000 other people interested in seeing a proof of concept prototype.

We did build and test them in the 50's and 60's. You couldn't make uranium 235 or plutonium 239 which is needed for weapons with LFTR so we went with the light water reactor because we wanted bombs. When the time came for civilian power generation Alvin M. Weinberg, the guy that invented and held the patents for the light water reactor got on his soap box and said we need to use a liquid fluoride thorium reactor design, for all the reasons I've stated, and they forced him out of his position at Oak Ridge National Laboratory because the powers that be chose to use the LWR for it's production of weapons grade material instead. So we aren't using it today because we can't use them to make bombs with is basically the short answer. LFTR is superior in every respect to LWR technology, except you can't make weapons grade material with it. http://energyfromthorium.com/ I actually took the time to redo this video with an interview with Kirk Sorensen a nuclear and aerospace engineer, who used to work for nasa from the energy from thorium website. I condensed the video as much as possible. If you would like you can watch my videos here: I trimmed it down from 1 hour, to 30 minutes. 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0HkG674w-s 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icCM77d529g 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiMTPMzFk1g

I still believe if you you had a machine to make unlimited free energy, you could get into the business of making some product that required large amounts of energy to manufacture. Keep your mouth shut about it and become rich. Selling energy back to the grid, I see no reason you couldn't start small with a few solar panels and a contract to sell power back to your local utility, then expand with fake panels that looked real or old broken panels that no one wanted. Producing power from your free energy device to the tune of approximately what you would if the panels were real/functional when the sun was shining. I seriously doubt if you acted smart about it they would come raid you. If the MEG is real, why is no one is building these or other similar devices so you can buy and test yourself without having to start from scratch. Sure you can buy a cd-rom with tons of plans off ebay, but that isn't the same as a functional unit delivered to your door. I want to believe one day we will have cold fusion or free zeropoint energy or whatever else, but until then we actually have a safe solution to our energy problems and it's called a liquid fluoride thorium reactor. The way I see it all this talk of amazing free energy devices is really holding LFTR back. It is a technology we've built and know to work just fine, and we have thousands of years worth of CHEAP fuel, it produces almost no waste and can recycle existing nuclear waste as fuel, and it can't melt down. This is an actual technology the scientific community would have no problem getting behind LFTR it's a proven technology, unlike zeropoint, MEG, water powered cars, cold fusion or whatever else. We just need to get enough people screaming loudly enough and television commercials, and our elected officials aware we actually have a solution to the energy crisis.
-
I want to believe man really I do. It's just if his MEG could really do what he says, then he should keep his mouth shut and become rich from mass producing hydrogen and oxygen, selling power back to the grid, opening steel factories and smelting metals all at no energy cost. If I could produce free energy I could easily become rich so could they, so could anyone.
-
If anyone were able to generate unlimited free energy from some device that was affordable to build at home they could easily become rich from selling the electricity and or using it to produce energy intensive products. They wouldn't need to convince anyone, they could fund the production of the devices themselves and prove them in the field and get rich doing it. It will probably take a few billion to get a reactor design for a LFTR ready, and into mass production, but if we could do that our energy problems would be solved for several thousand years.
-
I've noticed mostly when I've posted about LFTR technology the response is usually well we have free energy from (insert too good to be true energy source here) The thing is if I invented a free energy source I would be using my machine that made free unlimited energy to make stuff that was energy intensive, and then sell it for a profit. No one in mainstream science is going to take any of these free energy claims seriously, even if it were true. LFTR on the other hand isn't some pie in the sky technology, we've built them and know the design and concept is sound and functional. We just need enough people aware about it, and pissed off enough to make a big enough ruckus to get the ball rolling. We could cheaply generate synthetic gasoline alternatives using the incredibly cheap electricity made by LFTR. We've got the energy problem solved for thousands of years and I am sure we can get fusion or some other source working by then.

Light water reactors (LWR) like what was used at fukushima aren't the only type of reactor. Canadians use heavy water reactors which can burn slightly more fuel but not much. Alvin Weinberg, the guy who invented the LWR spent the rest of his years trying to convince everyone to switch to a Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor, (LFTR) it is a type of molten salt reactor. Eventually he stepped on too many toes as those in power fought to maintain the status quo, he was fired from his job at Oakridge National Laboratory, because he wouldn't stop voicing his opposition to LWR in favor LFTR. Not only was it impossible for it to melt down like Fukushima and Chernobyl, we have enough thorium to last us thousands of years even with projected increases in electrical consumption and that assumes we all drive electric or fuel cell vehicles. We built some prototype LFTR's in the 50's and 60's and know the technology is sound. We have thousands of years worth of thorium just here in the usa. In an existing LWR reactor only a fraction of a percent of the uranium fuel can be burned up, in a LFTR almost 98% of the thorium fuel can be burned. Not only that but when the uranium is refined to be used as fuel only a fraction of a percent of the total uranium mined can be used the rest is discarded, in contrast all the thorium mined can be used. It produces less than 1% of the waste of an existing LWR, and it's waste is actually useful to nasa for space probes, and for medicine, what can't be used for good purposes is only radioactive for 300 years vs 10,000. A LFTR can actually be used to recycle all the waste from existing uranium enrichment using it as fuel, and the waste that comes out of the LWRs we are using today. LFTR's cannot melt down if the reactor overheats for any reason, a plug made of frozen salt melts and drains into a tank which is passively cooled. LFTR promises almost all of the benefits of fusion power, except we know how to make a functional LFTR, and could do so easily. The only thing LFTR is bad at is it cannot be used to make weapons grade material. That is why we went with existing LWRs instead. It's kind of sad really. We have a solution to safely fix our energy problems but refuse to use it out of greed.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/8565020/Nuclear-fuel-has-melted-through-base-of-Fukushima-plant.html The nuclear fuel in three of the reactors at the Fukushima has melted through the base of the pressure vessels and is pooling in the outer containment vessels, a "melt-through" "far worse than a core meltdown" and "the worst possibility in a nuclear accident".

Random thoughts and musings quasi-relevant to the subject. Over the course of your life every atom in your body will be replaced many times over. Have you ever heard the story of George Washington's hatchet? Historians have a joke about a museum claiming to display the hatchet that young George Washington used to chop down his father's cherry tree. The only problem is that the handle rotted and had to be replaced, then the head rusted and had to be replaced. So is it the original hatchet? You really are just information, a pattern. The physical body you inhabited 10 years ago is no longer here, the atoms that made it up, are no longer present in your current body. I like to think of how this process would look if you could observe the path of all the atoms moving into and out of your body over the course of your life. What I visualize is something like an eddy or whirlpool in an ever moving river. The pattern, the information that makes you, you has remained mostly. As we age the pattern of us degrades slowly. We are not our physical bodies, we are the arrangement, pattern and information itself. Even atoms themselves in a universal time scale are in a state of such flux, ever changing. There is nothing that makes atoms so unique or permanent, elements can and are changed from one element to another frequently. In the hearts of starts via fusion or exploding supernovae or via particle accelerators in a process called nuclear transmutation. We have changed lead into gold via such methods. Atoms are more like lego creations. Inside our brains our neurons are firing like an electrical lightning storm, whatever our consciousness is it is electric and energetic. I like to think of the physical body as a oil lamp, and the consciousness is the flame. Over our life the wick and oil are replaced many times but the flame remains present. One of my random musings is that the cells that comprise my body actually are intelligent at a very basic level, and that they collectively give rise to my awareness. In essence my mind is like the government of an advanced cellular society. I wonder if what we are doing right now, sharing thoughts and information over a vast internet that interconnects us all like neurons in a neural net, is giving rise to a larger consciousness we aren't even aware of. I guess it depends on your perspective Viewed from space, you see the planet earth as one whole, not subdivided into thousands of objects. Is it one thing, or many things lumped together? I guess it depends on your perspective and level of magnification. That holds true for everything in our universe. If you adjust your magnification, you will see that every "thing" is a part of something else. The galaxy is one thing which is a part of the universe. The solar system is a one thing that is a part of the galaxy, that is a part of the universe. The earth is a planet that is a part of our solar system, that is a part of the galaxy, that is a part of the universe. You are one thing that is a part of the earth, that is a part of our solar system, that is a part of the universe. A cell that is a part of your body, is a part of you, that is a part of the earth, that is a part of our solar system, that is a part of the universe. A molecule that is a part of the the cell, that is a part of your body, is a part of you, that is a part of the earth, that is a part of our solar system, that is a part of the universe. An atom is a part of the molecule that is a part of the the cell, that is a part of your body, is a part of you, that is a part of the earth, that is a part of our solar system, that is a part of the universe. A subatomic particle is a part of the atom, An atom is a part of the molecule that is a part of the the cell, that is a part of your body, is a part of you, that is a part of the earth, that is a part of our solar system, that is a part of the universe. I would venture to guess that there is no limit, if we could keep splitting up subatomic particles ad infinitum, they would continue this trend with no ultimate building block ever to be found. As above so below, maybe the universe at a macrocosmic scale mirrors that at a microcosmic scale. I believe the reality in which we live is holographic, fractilic, and electric, and infinite. From birth we are conditioned to think with word's, this is that, that is this. We label each object, describe each concept. Language has no reality outside of our mind's however. It is a useful fiction. We are conditioned from birth to label everything, conditioned to see millions of things everywhere, there truth is there is only one coherent pattern of which everything is apart. Really there are no things, just waves in an ocean. We don't see it as such because the flow of atoms takes such long periods of time. Really all the things we see are temporary arrangements or patterns.

I am not enlightened, nor do I seek it as a goal. From what I have read from people who claim to be enlightened, Jed McKenna, Steven Norquist etc is that enlightenment is a non dual experience that should last until death barring a traumatic brain injury or something similar. Enlightenment as they describe is a shift in awareness. No longer are they people, but experiences of those people. No longer do they have bodies, they have experiences of having bodies. It is as if they were in a movie theater watching a movie called "their life" and had suspended their disbelief, and forgotten they were watching a movie. Enlightenment was the moment they remembered and realized what was being seen and heard on the movie screen was in fact, just a movie. (caption: this is not a pipe) This is a painting of a pipe.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM TTB/LH your sock puppets with two posts each don't fool anyone with a brain. Lucas Huang aka Thetaobum ran this exact same scam here: barangthailand.blogspot.com [email protected] http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:yyoJuPRvbMEJ:barangthailand.blogspot.com/+barangthailand&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&source=www.google.com When I say exactly the same I mean it, look at the google webcache of the inventory of lucas haung's blogspot. He's been reported by several people (myself included) for fraud, failure to deliver goods once payment has been received. He also launders his money via multiple people and multiple paypal accounts. To everyone else: save your money and avoid this scam, I learned the hard way.

Taoism doesn't teach one to transcend death and suffering
Thunder_Gooch replied to tulku's topic in General Discussion
The thing about Taoism is that there are so many different schools, philosophies, folk religious tales, magick, that there is no one Taoism or one Taoist line of thought. One Taoist's version of Taoism might be completely alien and unknown to another. A lot of people get hung up on the folk religion aspect, or the philosophical aspect, or the magical aspect, or the mythos or the culture. As for me I am interested in taoist neigong training methods, which actually produce real results that you can observe. Taoist neigong for me deals with my main concern of transcending death and rebirth and suffering. That is the primary goal by ascending from a physical being made of meat that will die, to a physical being made of energy that does not reincarnate. Or at least that's the end goal and hope of my search and practice. So the aspect of Taoism I am interested in addresses my goals more appropriately than Buddhism.
