Most IBS/Chron's cases are really Clostridium Difficile and Candida yeast infections. I highly recommend you culture you own yogurt using a good spore forming bacteria called lactobacillus sporogenes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lactobacillus_sporogenes Other people here have recommended Bifidobacterium Infantis I am unfamiliar with it but it may also be worth checking out.

Which bums have registered and are planning on attending. We need at least 5 group members to get the max group discount.

eat blueberries and walnuts with every meal. There have been so many studies that show blueberries are good for vision and memory that I can't count. Just search for blueberry and blueberries and bilberry and bilberries on sciencedaily.com walnuts are also packed full of dha which your brain needs.

I really hope at least 5 people from the bums come, as we will get a group discount.

Sean, I'd be interested to know if Master Lin knows anything about ending the cycle of rebirth, and if so which practices are most effective for that goal. Thanks

I used ABBYY fine reader 10 to scan many books in to txt format, them used txt-to-speech software to create audio books to listen while on the road. ABBYY is fairly easy to use, and can turn whatever you scan into a real ebook. You being the author I would think would have the original text though wouldn't you? Like in a Microsoft word file or something? -
Songs, Not to be rude, but I really don't accept your opinion. I only accept opinions from people qualified to give them. I am going to go ahead and just nip this in the bud, and agree to disagree with you. The more I argue on here the stupider I feel. If taoist immortality turns out to be a myth then I guess I get to share the same fate as everyone else whatever that may be.

Death, and rebirth are the fire under my ass. I want to make sure I am never reincarnated. It's the motivation for my practice, and my sole purpose for living. So yes I think about death a lot, at least a few times every hour even when I am busy at work. Jed's whole gig is that life is meaningless, and death is inevitable, all thoughts, ideas, concepts and philosophies are utter bullshit. I like what he has to say and I agree with him for the most part. But what if beings like john chang are real, men who have evolved past their humanity and mortality to another level of being, that kind of throws a monkey wrench in his equations. I define taoist immortality as a spirit who does not reincarnate. As to whether taoist immortality is attainable by ordinary people, I would assume so if they were able to log the hours in the correct practices required. I don't really know I'm merely speculating.

I love jed mckenna, but his philosophy kinda falls apart if taoist immortality is indeed possible.

If you are entering deep trance states you will feel and experience all kinds of crazy sh*t, I spent the night with my sister a few weeks back. I meditated on the couch till about 4am, and reached a very deep trance state, and as I would have flashes of light or sensations the dog would go nuts and start barking or the cats would freak out. Feelings of intense biting cold are not uncommon in a deep trance state.

Spring forest qigong, The system described in the book "the tao of meditation" and robert bruce's system of energy work are all very easy to learn and effective. Those are my choices. -

lol I prefer to learn on my own via books and courses like spring forest qigong etc. I learn better on my own. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autodidacticism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autodidacticism#Scientists.2C_historians.2C_and_educators -
Use an online irc client if you don't already have one http://chat.mibbit.com/ for example Log in on an IRC client to: irc.TheOccult.bz:+6697 #TheOccult.bz and or #theoccult.bz join the support chan (room address will be there in chat) ask for invite and one of the mods will tell you to answer some questions and then give you an invite. They have some annoying rules though, and it is hard to keep your upload stats up because the files are small and people aren't always DLing the same things.

I was wondering how many other bums were coming, and if we could all list ourselves as a group to get the max group discount
