mo pai level 1 is contained in many different teachings, it's no more dangerous than what's already out there.

Recently speaking with a friend of mine whom I think very highly of, we were on the topic of new teachers. Wan Qi Kim came up, I did a little googling and found him to be the guy behind meditation mantra. My first gut reaction was one of disgust. My friend is so convinced of his authenticity. For the life of me I can't understand why. WQK/MM's whole demeanor, and body language suggest to me he is just a salesman and a bad one at that. Seems like more garbage like KAP/Kunlun. Does anyone know anything about him? Who were his teachers? What are his credentials? What has he accomplished? Has he developed any abilities, if the answer is no how can he claim to teach others how to develop them if he has not himself? His whole gig seems a little fishy to me.

Non, Canada would probably be the easiest but if martial law were ever declared we'd just invade them and annex them as they couldn't really put up a fight anyway. Other than Canada you are not getting out unless you are rich, have a highly in demand skill set, and are fluent in your destination country's language. My advice is do lots of research on highly paid jobs in the medical field, learn their language, go back to school for your profession and then try after working several years and saving up a large amount of money to help you actually get there. Oh and I hear Norway is pretty nice, except they have crazy vitamin laws where you have to have Rx for even common food extracts like green tea, or cinnamon or anything in a pill lol.

Just a note Canadians don't pay higher income tax rates than Americans.

I had a reaction to antibiotics I was prescribed and was forced, as in against my will to go to the hospital by authorities who deemed it in my best interest. I still owe in excess of $10,000 USD that I'm paying $10 a month on. They can force you to have treatment, then force you to pay for it. I think we have "acceptable" quality of medical care, but no one can afford it unless they are rich or upper middle class. I really don't see how the new health care reform forcing us all to carry private insurance we couldn't afford to begin with solves anything at all.

can you dig up any charts of a 72 chakra system? Any more info on the practices damo taught or anything else related?
-
page 69 it was a different school than mo pai in which he studied. It never elaborates on which school it was. I wonder how many schools with 72 or higher level systems there are.

do you have page numbers? I'll go back and re-read and do some research online.

I'm probably going to hell anyway, I've killed several people this year alone. I sell people booze, and we've had several customers die in car wrecks drunk, a few die of cirrhosis of the liver, a few of lung cancer from all the cigarettes we sell them. I take all their money for lottery scratch off tickets, money I know should be feeding their 4 kids, but I take it anyway, hundreds of dollars each day from individual customers. I feed peoples addictions, I sell them booze, cigarettes, energy pills, lottery, junk food, I help them destroy themselves and their families. Maybe I will move to the city and get a better job as a computer tech, sometime soon. What I do for a living really eats at my conscience.

Chunyi Lin of SFQ, John Chang, and Wang Liping all seem to acknowledge rebirth. I don't know anything for certain. I don't know if rebirth occurs or death is a finality, or something else altogether. I do know that reality supersedes any ism, daoism included. So whatever happens after death, does so irregardless of whatever ism we cling to.
-
I hope it works like that too, but I'm not banking on it. We came out of nothingness (death) and then were born into this world and life at least once that we know of, I'd be willing to bet it will happen again in some similar way.

If I could go back I'd bust my ass and become a pharmacist. They can work 2 days per week still make apx $40,000 per year. Everyone says to do what you love doing, but if what you love doing doesn't pay the bills that isn't going to work out in the real world.
-
That explains it, my grandmother tells me that when I first learned to speak I told her I came from a world with two suns. XD

I believe it is possible, or at least I hope it is. Schools like John Chang's supposedly reach levels where spiritual immortality is possible.

Wan Qi Kim aka Meditation Mantra?
Thunder_Gooch replied to Thunder_Gooch's topic in General Discussion
I've spoken to a few people who have met him, none report actually feeling his super power orgasmo-qi. I don't know who made his trailers for the up coming thunderbolt video but they look absolutely fake to me at least. -

Everyone here on TTB looks down on you if you say you want a teacher who actually has developed abilities as a result of their training. I say if your practice doesn't develop abilities what exactly does it do? What's the point, and why listen to teachers that haven't accomplished anything themselves. Seems kinda silly to me but that's just my opinion. -

Hey guy's just a heads up, I will be launching neigongforum.com within a week or two. This forum will be dedicated solely to the discussion of all things neigong related.
-
MD, I have my personal mantra that I live by, several times a day I tell myself "I will do the best I can with what I have" That's kind of my philosophy for life. I am going to fight for my dreams until my death, even if I ultimately fail. The only reason I created the forum was no one else was doing it, I ran the idea of a separate sub-forum for qigong/neigong training discussion by sean a while back and he wasn't interested. I'm not trying to run some exclusive club, everyone is welcome as long as they are civilized and polite. I don't have a strategy to attract experts to my forum, It's more of a discussion group focused on neigong as a topic. Even if it is just a group of seekers, I believe that there is strength in numbers. The way I see it, the more eyes and ears a community has, the more leads to teachers of Chang's/Djiangs caliber might be possible. The more minds in the community, the more relevant information might be shared. I regard neigong as a science, not as politics. I also realize all systems that have ever achieved results on the level of Chang's school got that way by the experimentation of thousands of people researching thousands of techniques and methods of training. The old knowledge is slowly vanishing, or kept so secret it will never become be possible to find. Perhaps what we need is some good old fashioned elbow grease, and a community of people willing to train and experiment together to find a new way. Or maybe I'm just too idealistic, and I'll never get anywhere myself. I feel compelled to try though. I'll do the best I can with what I have.

That about sums it up. Getting out seems nearly impossible unless you have some high paying in demand job/skill-set and plenty of money saved up. I've pretty much given up trying to escape this hell hole, I'm just going focus on buying land, a camper and focus solely on my training. I don't want to devote any more of my life and or time than absolutely necessary to anything else but training.

http://www.neigongforum.com/ Membership is free, and registration is open. Please read the site rules in the lobby before posting. It just launched so there may still be some bugs to work out. It's not flashy just a very simple discussion forum. I'll be adding articles and posts as I have time. I expect a month or two until I have posted articles on all the systems I am aware of. Feel free to do the same.

Well I consider it the hallmark of a functional system. I'm weird though, so don't mind me.
