I am now reading his Chi Kung: Way of Power and find it very very useful. Warriors of Stillness, on the same subject of standing meditation/zhangzhuan/yi chuan... was a lot less clear than this. Too bad he only teaches in Europe and not America. He also doesnt offer his video in NTSC! He has a number of other books out, on Chi Kung, Tea Drinking, Standing, Tai Chi, Feng Shui and Food...has anyone read any? Should one get Way of Energy if they have Way of Power?...

The other day my mother was having some abdominal pain. I recommended her to do the webcleanse program of Dan Reid. That seems to be the most thorough...Id like to do it too. What are the other systems or alternatives? I know one was mentioned here which I forgot the name of. Another one I suggested my mother is Ntural Fiber therapy as per http://1meta-colon-cleanse.com

Energy work is the proper name. Funny how it is like a natural yin yang. Energy being yang and work being yin. Together, they are beneficial.

For fat burning, check out the Wu Dang Tai Chi Chi Kung from Wudangtao.com It is rigorous yet fun and balanced, not draining. There is an idea set forth in the book Energy Balance diet. This idea postis that "primary food" or how we live our life, is more important thant "secondary food," being the actual food we eat...massage, yoga, qi gong, meditation--these things are primary to weight loss, then, and secondary is the food you eat. This was a great book. It labels meat is being "extreme" and integrates all nutritional theory.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mantak_Chia Check out the discussion, chime in if you care...I got Fire Star to take off the idea that Master Chia is considered "New Age." Fire Star has little to no respect for Chia, but seems to be a scholar with an open ear. About the plagairism with Chok Kok Sui, where did I read that this case was dropped?

Okay I digress. The 3rd and 4th noble truths have memit from a taoist perpective. I was just regurgitating what taoist Alex Anatole was saying in his book Truth of Tao. He really disses Buddhism in that book, talking about how it was like a welfare system for outcasts in India, giving them a little food, shelter and dignity... Anyways, im cool with the Noble Truths. Anyone know is a good source for learning more about vajrayana secrets? How about the essence of yoga of naropa or dzogchen, mahamudra?

This is that guy on TV who is really angry and gets very mad. I just started his book and so far it is very interesting (since I am researching holistic medicine, this ties many many things together.) Anyone check this dude out? He is seriously cool, I think...although his books is not perfect, he has some really good points so far....the number 1 thing he recommens is people find a natural healthcare provider (like a naturopath.) Another thins he says to do is stop going to give up all prescrition drugs and psychologists...Chi Kung is listed as number 35 on his list of things to do. He goes to 4 different chirpracters. He does one visit per month. The reason for 4 is that each has different techniques.

Going straight to the source, it seems, is the way to get the "real deal" on something. There is so many forms of Chi Kung I have been researching. But, as for finding one I can comfortably make my own, perfect and teach, it seems Im always still looking. I find that the Wu dang methods are incredible in getting chi to flow. Therefore I am looking to study those methods most happily. I just finished practcing, for my first time, the Wu Dang "Tai Chi Chi Kung 18 form" movements, the first one of 2 parts. Wu dang tai chi is the original, wu dang wu dang wu dang...its like Democracts Vs Republicans. Then there is Wu dang--above it all! I can see all the medical docs in America practicing and teaching Wu dang methods one day. They will, says Master Tseng in a recent email he sent me. Peace out bums!

yes this is extrmely true, good points! there are some interesting alchemical things in this list, but Im sure its not at all close to as pure an idea the tao or the idea that we are all buddha (at least in potential)!!!! Its almost like saying only whites can be buddha and not black people....aahhh...who came up with this crazy list? ARE BUDDHISTS CRAZY???? I think many of them are and Buddhism is a jole. The tao accepts the first two noble truths according to Alex Anatole. But truth 3 and 4 are crazy. BLindly following the 8fold path? Blind faith. On the other hand, it is a good philosophy creating mindfulness and easing mental afflictions. I like the mahayana philosophy. Anyone here find out the deal with vajrayana? Like what is this part about visualizing the self making love to a consort? Thats pretty crazy stuff.

This is pretty deep alchemical phenomeanon I am experiencing-- Whats happening is, as I master the chi flow more, I am finding that childrens nursery rhymes are spontaneously popping into the awareness (perhaps spurred by yuan chi) field! Just now I went into Wu Ji posture, and suddendly found myself internaly singing "Londed bridges falling down, falling down, faling down, london bridges falling down, my, fair, lady" The other day it happened with this song " down came the spider and washed the water out, out came the rain and yada yada" and its revently happend with these oens too: "ring around the rosey pocket full of posey ashes ashes we all fall down" "humpty dumpty had a great fall, humpy dumpty...all the kinds horses and all the kings men" "jack and jill went up the hill..." "puff themagic dragon lived by the sea..." Has anyone experienced this funnyness like me?

I was thinking of getting tatoos. Anyone here have a spiritualy or alchemicaly signifigant tatoo? How about this idea: water on the heart and fire on the ming men or an angel and devil on the shoulders or a sun on the belly button or???

Check out the recent book by author Yang Yang. He is a very high Chen teacher with an awesomely Western and Eastern perspecive. This means he knows the science and spirit of Tai Chi, learning and teaching!!!!!!!!! I just read his book the other day, a quick read! People are calling this a "new" classic on tai chi. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/097409900...7007058?ie=UTF8 There is only 1 copy left on Amazon (find yang yang's schools page and there should be more on there...)
