  1. Guru rating service!

I think Chia definetly deserves more respet than one star, I would say in my book he gets three even. Nobody is perfect! At least his teachings are based on the body! The rmax stuff did do some things for me, but not nearly what Chia did. I think becoming conservative in the arts of sperm has helped my mental energy hundred fold. On the other hand, I had to learn up to sealing the senses->congress to start really transmuting, his system really sucked me in, but thats fine with me! I concentrated on my lower TT for a loooong time thinking it was the stage I was at, cutting off the heart and brain, but you take the good with the bad. Now I can safely meditate on my heart and brain unlike most people. Perhaps these advaita teachers die young because they do not have the physical grounding of Chia, we'll see how long Chia lives... Compared to most of these advaita people I would say Chia will end up bein remembered for a much longer time than them. He gets three nuggets in my book, and I feel like that is the same as saying "a friend of the devil is a friend of mine" to quote the Grateful Dead. You see? thats fine with me because in order to see the nondual the duality must be transcended, Chia has heart the size of the world becuase he has the GUTS to connect with his heart so deeply and help people destroy their attachment to death (reminds me of Shiva).
  2. Guru rating service!

Massive Swiss account that might liberate the people if his empowerments are proven to work with empirical science? How was he "not very nice" to staff?
  3. Body of Light

Did you listen to the interview with Peter Granger? Anyone here check out integral naked? The concious media network is awesome and free!
  4. Anyone here trained in tm?

Well the Tm people, and the David Lynch foundation agreed to give me a scholarship to get training as funds become available. This is mosty becuase I am a student and studying it through college. Also I am interested in the propagation of all meditation techniques, even if there are kinks to be worked out. For example they make me pledge to meditate 20 minutes twice per day, which is no problem. They also want me to attend checkups once a week for a month or two and then monthly checkups. Also I should consider giving my money to other if I can for their training in the future...not a bad deal!
  5. Guru rating service!

No need to apologize! We should rejoice in this age of information where we have things like the Guru raiting service, too. Other than Adyashanti I enjoyed seeing how Eckhart Tolle is up there (cool to check out his website) his woman teaches a blend of Tai CHi Yoga and Qigong. I was reading before about a resort where they teach "Yoqiga" a combo of qigong and yoga. I seen this in a dvd also called Yoga Fusion...Yekta Zarrinkafsh..this African dance woman (just noticed how she moves the shen-dao or t5/wing point a lot). I think combining qigong, yoga, tai chi, lauphter, everything is enlightenment: non dual. Perhaps the problem arises when we try to bite off more that we can chew and forget that...all numbers are 1...son of air... this lady is cool, got 3 nuggets, has art, awesome meditation and singing on her site, realized: http://www.shantimayi.com/ This international org. looks reeeeeally cool: http://www.artofliving.org/ http://tara.org/ Awesome Buddhist readings from this lady, a woman buddicitta living in Marlyand! http://www.dharmaweb.org links to nice zen/dharma talks and stuff, much audio, where I foundL http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3618870a2180,00.html interesting article on the largest monastery IN THE WORLD! designed by the same artist who did the tallest http://www.gangaji.org/ Won 3 nuggets! Richard Rose http://www.tatfoundation.org I think he is pretty good. Nice to have western psych perspective... Sailor' Bob Adamso no thanks, this guy got 3 nugs, but boring. ...
  6. Guru rating service!

I have not met Chia. I think that everyone has something to offer. I also think Chias system is very unique and valueble among the faiths and traditions of the world, he is only a small part of the puzzle but with Chi Nei Tsang, perhaps a big part...The mayans had abdomnal massage too, this is a practice which I think is very important to awakening.
  7. Guru rating service!

I think Chia is pretty damn enlightened. I dont know. Maybe i have just been brainwashed by him? Anyways I intend to check out a lot of the people on this website and will get back when I weed through em all. Right now I am enjoying free nondual talks from Adyashanti the Zen dude on Video: http://www.adyashanti.org/index.php?file=watchvideo
  8. Anyone here trained in tm?

Superlearning? Where is that book? Personaly I never took to this whole mantra thing. I use mantra but change them all the time, just to keep my mind coming back to something if I dont want to forget it or keep contemplating it..idk if I buy this whole mantra thing. To stop saying the world and feel it in the mind however is pretty sweet, like when you stop repeating "one" in you head and just feel it.
  9. Cool Wudang Qigong on google video

You forgot to multiply 5440 by 6 as that is the price per month, coming out to to $4,116 USD for 6 months Wudang training, room and board in China with real Master!
  10. Cool Wudang Qigong on google video

The Essentials Of Wudang Taiji Quan http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8...9481210&pl=true This Master in the first video, his school looks sweet! It would cost only some 4 grand for 6 months of training in authentic Wu Dang qigong/neidan/whatever! Room and board included! I am finding out more details..
  11. So recently I have realized that my energy flow in my body is general great, except for my t-5 point, where the vertebre is rather sore. Studying alchemy, my research shows that art is the key aspect to the mystical mysteries, leading me to relook at the Inner Alchemy of the Tao poster and it's explanation, an important peice of art to say the least. I was interested to learn how the t5 point is a "lookout" station in the art (thus in meditation) before rising to the higher realms of the spirit. Anyone else study the Inner Alchemy of the Dao poster? I think this poster is VERY IMPORTANT and the KEY TO OPENING THE MICROCOSMIC ORBIT! When you practice the orbit with the knowledge and visualization contained in this poster, it just is a different paradigm. click image below for info... one version of the explanation Intesting to note, is that this Art features not only Lao Tzu (at the Spirit Hall of the Court Yard, or Original Cavity of the Spirit/3rd eye pituatary) but also our good friend Bodhidharma! In the explanation it reads: "The energies of Bodhidharma are mixed together with those of Lao Tze to form a new Taoist understanding, which is the practice of modern Taoism-the Universal Tao System. This system represents the blending and the harmonizing of our Heavenly Destiny and our Earthly Nature" [my bolds] This has major implications! This means that those of us who thought we were always practicing the Universal Tao were really practicing a mixture of the teachings of Bodhidahrma and Lao Tzu, so we were really practicing the Universal Zen Tao, minus the word Zen. This is good news, meaning those of use who have studied so tirelessly the UT system are really Zen masters! Woohoo! Now, if I could just fix this wing point. Discovering the problem/bringing attention to it has helped already. When I massage the point it doesnt get better right away, but as I keep massaging i,t multiple times per day/perhaps even hour/mediating on with deep breathing, (even while doing qigong) I'm sure it will clear up in no time! (Even this post has furthered its healing, and I feel the effects all over, very blissful!) Happy sailing everyone!

  13. Someone in my family is on drugs for bi-polar disorder. If you dont know, this is simply a mental illness where one experiences highs and lows. This is something that bothers me whenever I am around the person, now that I am more in-tune with subtle energies. The disorder is supposedly caused by an imbalance in his thyroid gland (what we know as the throat chakra). The person is my father. If my father wants to release his addiction to the bi-polar drugs and live more healthily and happily without them, I know it "could" work! Since I am (21 years old, and for the summer) living at home, this transformation would be a very delicate process for myself, mother and twin brother, as well (seeing as how he has been on bi-polar drugs for very many years). On the other hand, I also think it should/could be a fun and enlightening proccess for my father and family, this potential for positive change. (And if it was not for positive change, there would be no point in even considering this healing rebirth!) As we harcore taoists know, being bi-polar can be a good thing! This is the Path of the Shaman or sage who, according to Tracker Tom Brown, must "walk the path of duality." This knowledge allows us to transcend the yin and yang and OPEN to the infinite knowledge and bliss of the universe, the field of unbounded awareness...in time. I see medicinal herb, cannabis, as being an important element in the future of qigong therapy.. 80% of Americans support medicinal "marijuana" herb! (Lets not get off track here though, my father hasnt smoked pot in some 25 years, and I do not think it is a good idea for him, but something to think about if you are interested in herb legalization and qigong therapy...) So, I see this illness as a blessing in disguise, afterall, his imbalance surely effected my spiritual/life path and I am very happy with this life and path, the spiritual and scientific reality I have been able to uncover, the heaven and earth duality and their realization in my own life. I know in time, everything works out for the best. My father healed or not, it is okay! However, in his presence I feel the coldness in his heart chakra, as the buddha in him has yet to awaken on a conscious level, although clearly present unconciously, he has been plagued by ancestoral chi that had emotional issues... My question is, would anyone offer advice as to how this transformation from bi polar drugs to holistic living may take place? It seems the balanced activation of endorphins is the key... From having an illness to having a gift? Paradoxicaly, my father is rather succesful in helping people with mental illness. An executive director of a social services agency, his organization hosts many group-homes for the severly mentaly ill. In the future, I forsee his agency, and other similar agencies moving towards curing people of their addictions to drugs, those with learning disabilities in schools, prisoners, and anything for which qigong therapy has positive, healing effects. Meditation and/or qigong therapy research has been proven to heal social ills. I realize that the components of a "rebirth" into a holistic lifestyle may include: medtitation, movement, (self)massage and nutrition That covers everything, no? It makes it all sound so easy! And it is, in a way. In my father's case, I feel that dropping the drugs and THEN learning qigong therapy could be more efficient than trying to learn it while (still having the heat trapped in the body, that is) still on the bi-polar drugs. I am open to other opinion on this, however...? This is where I get slightly worried. Also, the question of which movement, meditation, massage and nutrition teachings to adopt is a hard question to answer, as well (of couse I want the best of the best). Perhaps one book or seminar might cover everything? Mosty likely not. IDEAS? So, to sum up, does anyone have a vision of how to embody the tao quickly and easily? Perhaps in the delicate case of my father? Is that even possible? Perhaps the shift must be very gradual, using the wisdom of (other than family=me) experienced qigong therapists. I know this revolution cannot be forced, and THAT wisdom alone is the key. ...thank you for considering this highly emotional meditation. P.S. I have been thoroughly researching the TM organization, and their infrastructure is VERY interesting. The entire TM program is very enlightening, how they set it up, that is. Look at www.NEstressfreeschools.com and www.cbeprograms.com and www.globalcountry.com ...on Wiki they are dissed real bad, perhaps due to religious fundamentalists who do not like them...the organization has serious issues...The 2500 training is available for $25, see the link on the Wiki site. I plan to buy that... A conference for stress free schools came around and a hindu CEO of the The Hartford insurance gave a speech, they want to bankroll training for inner city schools here, where we have the worst child poverty rate in the country...I want to get involved but I see their infrastructure sucks in that I couldnt be a teacher or make waves until a long time and paying them a lot of money...
  14. Yes a very emotional and deeply sensative issue is how we relate to the (un)health of our parents, but very important, too. Thanks a lot for your reflections, this makes me feel much better. If there is one thing we learn in the tao, gradual change is better than quick change. Yes, I suppose I am proud of my father. True, there is much worse dads out there and I am very lucky. Leave it all up to the tao...
  15. Prostate book...

Thanks for donating a copy of the book!!! How might one access it?
  16. What would you teach to the kids

How the child is a mirror? Same with our inner child. I see the inner child as a reflection of all children, how we educate them is essential. Imagine if as a child we knew what we know now? Imagine if we were born into knowing how to live as one with the tao? If you were taught the healing sounds, orbit and inner smile in 1st grade? Along with the abc's? Yoga? Self massage and about nutrition? Imagine if you maintained your purity from birth on all 4 dimensions? Imagine if you were raised to be enlightened? Seeing the darkness of your internal space and the light of nature...I think all youth should have that chance, dont you? The opportunity to be enlightened before they get so messed up?
  17. Glenn Morris died

What do you think he died from? Was he too firey or something?
  18. Poll - How is your "Wing Point"?

I gotta move to Thailand! I gotta move to Thailand! ...I met this really hot girl who is now studying qigong and was talking about moving there...to go or not to go, that is the question
  19. Poll - How is your "Wing Point"?

I never had a full body massage...I think to really be a meditator one needs regular shiatsu treatment. Now that I have learned about all the way up to sealing the senses and congress, I see that in order to meditate the structure just has to be in alignment firstly...I think this shows the importance of the work of Saul Goodman and his int'l Shiatsu school... Oh yeah for sure this point is crying out for my attention. I do have chi roller thing and this is what helped bring my attention to the problem area...every day with continued conciousness on this point and massage of it by reaching back, it feels better, slowly. It is forcing me to realize things, too, about wings...quetzalcoatle, caduceus, hermes, kundalini...this is all the same symbol...the flying serpent... I started writing a paper on a bunch of this stuff I been studying... http://www.angelfire.com/planet/intelligence If anyone has time to check it out, feel free to give me some feedback!
  20. Time and Space

Who thinks the proper translation of "qigong" might be something like "transcending time and space"?
  21. Time and Space

Have you even been in the presence of a yogai who was so blissed out that an hour feels like two seconds? That is what I am talking about, feeling time transcend like that, and space, or the universe being emodied through the joy: time flies when you having fun, and the space/energy in your body gets connected with the entire universe as well, it transcends. Qigong we do this we embody the seasons and the space of the seasons, all at one physical location and time, seeing the reflection.
  22. http://www.qigonginstitute.org/html/whatsnew.php It is a very good interview...
  23. The other book by Lao Tsu

  24. What would you teach to the kids

With the proper curriculum of breathing, meditation, massage, movement and nutrition the child could handle ANY stress and save the world even...physical ed is like gym class. The thing with it is that they drain essence by using only physical and not respecting the body/mind connection, like the subtle.
  25. Time and Space

me too I dont like the word trasncend so much. How about the opposite, embody. This is what we do with the seasons and rotations of the planet or stars, (time) in qigong (time space) practice. We also open ourselves to the space of the universe, so the inside and out are like mirrors of pure emboyment. By the way what is energy? It is not time moving in relation to space? Is this not a skill?
