Wing Point and Art of Inner Alchemy
GrandTrinity replied to GrandTrinity's topic in General Discussion
Yo Saun, perhaps move this baby to my personal practice area? Seems nobody cares about my wing point, LOL! I dont blame em, as everyone misunderestimatse the power of this point, even I. -
Well I have done a bit of reading on the point. The thick awaken healing light book recommends patience in opening it...it is a point I have had issues with ever since entering the HT studies, the Transform Stress book shows it as a point on the orbit, which it is, but one to be skipped over by those first starting the meditations. It is a VERY volatile point bing connected to the center of the heart. It is a point that requires much wisdom to open safely. But when it is open, wow! Thoracic vertebre 5, start at the big vertebret at the base of the neck, thats C7 then count starting at the one below that up to five, the fifth one is the one we are talking about.

Anyone down with Mr. G? I like this idea of the 4th way beyond the yogi, monk or fakir. The 4th way is beyond duality and emobying the trinity into the next dimension...he used qi kung like dances, right?

Yeah the clubs were too yang for my taste. I should have got 5lbs not 10, if at all. I dont regret getting them, it was a learning experience. I still enjoy and use some rmax wisdom, like to use WW type joint opening with some friends before I teach them the basic motions of meridian chi kung the other day. I do change styles a lot, always looking for the hottest thing. I think that Dirk's Chi kung and the Shamanic Tiger Chi Kung are the best movements I have seen. Yes the meridian qigong is steching, it is very very deep. Not only does it activate and open the meridians, it also have movements for strengthening them, the muscles/tendons and conenctive tissue, deep. Then there is movements for integration, too. This is a very challenging qi kung at first, take it slow! It took me a year to have a decent grasp on it all and be able to do it all. Still I have yet to master it and memorize all the moves. I will add about the "im not a taoist" issue that this is an important point. The tao really is not called the tao. This is why the rmax concept is very helpful for getting past this concept is "isms" in general and opening this stuff more to the western mind of course.

Interesting, i have been formulating a paper outlining a curriculum for conscious education. All the indiginous/native/aboriginal traditions of the world have a lot to offer us. Obviously, they should be taken with a grain of salt. That salt is science. Nietsche wrote in his Anti-Christ that science is the Original Sin. Experiential, scientific, covering all the bases, this is what should be taught both in tao village and regular village. And it should all be voluntary. Physical education classes these days are draining peoples essence. Physical, mental and spiritual, the competition and denial of MIND in PHYSICAL ed is inferior to heart-based education that included mental awareness and peace, relaxation, etc. The kids should learn about the Matrix of Power that controls banks, governments, etc. but only if they can handle this stress through breathing, meditation, massage and movement, nutrition too.

The author of that article lives 5 minutes from me and we met before. He was a nice guy but spiritualy he seemed lost to me. I gave up on that rmax stuff mostly. It is okay, but the shamanic tiger qigong and 4d meridian qi gong seem to open my body flow a billion times more than all that rmax stuff. I am also enjoying yin yoga. To say your not a taoist is like saying your not a human. We are conceived as taoists, although that is not the proper word for it.

Yeah Matt showed me this guy too, Matt there is a dope concert at CLifton Springs 4/30 Sound Tribe Sector 9 if youd like to join, ill be there. I found Glenns first book, havent gotten through it, to be "out there" in comparison to studying Chias stuff, but I wish I had time for it and was planning to go deeper, left it on the back burner. Ninjas are great. As are some of the things on his Kundalini SUpport Network website. Nonetheless I like how he ties together the Kundalini as someything that popped up in all cultures around the world (or the few he decyferred)...caduceus. Glenn had a part of the puzzle, for sure.

This made me look at pg 514 of awaken healing light, a vital illustration, but confusing nonetheless? Perhaps because it is so energizing.

I have those dvds as of recent, the 5 elements are nice and the intro one is pretty dank too. Be like a cow and follow the tao. I just got the yin yoga dvd with grill...should be interesting when I get time for it. I am interested to see all the other pratamaya dvds on this yin yang approach, and look foward to attending any workshops in it with Paulie at Omega Inst. next year or w/e...

This is a pretty good video, he does a lot of self massage and some lauphing practice, he does all the bruce kumar francis stuff like the different swings, and does a grand circulation technique which is very nice. Other than that he does the healing sounds standing positions. It is a good video, nothing amazing but still high quality. You could contact the phone number in the book perhaps.

Interview of Daniel Reid and other audio
GrandTrinity replied to GrandTrinity's topic in General Discussion
By the way, anyone check out his book "A Complete Guide to Chi-Gung" published by Shamanallah? I am very tempted to check it out. Reid stresses about the warm up routines for tai chi and qigong which get the blood and chi moving. He says that a lot of peoplejust want to jump into the form. ooh its my 555th post -
I would say become a qigong and tai chi master and forget the hard style. This is in the spirit of tao and lao tzu, to be like water which benefits all things.

Newbie questions on Immortal being stuff...
GrandTrinity replied to Fireblood's topic in General Discussion
Welcome fireblood, awesome quote in your signature! Very true! Yes you can understand all of this on a scientific/biological level, and this is very important I think. On an experiential level, the birthing of one's "Inner Child" is just a reversing of the againg process, like clearing out all the traumas in your life so you go back to a state of neutral purity and thus effortless positive chi flow. -
I just took an hour or two the other day and read through that entire website, pretty interesting. Anyone here practice much Ermei? The mountain is bot taoist and buddhist. sacredjourneys.org has retreats and training at the mountain...

Meditating on the orbit aka the small earthly (or heavenly cycle) I realized that maybe every time we flow it around, this revolution of the chi is also literaly changing our macrocosmic universe and exchanging our dna on a cellular/energetic level. Thus, we are adding a day to our life every time the orbit flows in a revolution.

when i standing in line at the bank i just do testicle breathing nobody know that i do -Mantak Chia, Healing Love tape. -
hahahaha funny picture in his organ materialism flashy bling bling bling furey is such a fucken joke, he is a funny character, I do not have much respesct for him and agree with the wiki that his stuff his very bad for the tendons. tendons are everything "Only by giving up both the negative and the positive, can we become truly positive". Kenneth Cohen sick quote. I find that doing qigong naked is a lot more powerful than doing it with pants and a shirt on, def a belt gets in the way. At least try it in boxers if you never have, very powerful and more bodyily centered enhancing psychic powers to a much higer degree. oops, by organ i meant orange
