  3. Golden Age, Golden Rule

The "golden rule" has been worded differently by almost every culture and each world religion. The poster below should be posted in every school classroom and church, temple, mosque, home, building, politcal place etc. Posters should be dropped over Iraq and the Israel, and on the property of all billionaires. When modern and acient technology merge with the Golden Rule, perhaps a golden age of compassion, wisdom and peace will emerge? You may print the below image and spread it. Seriously, lets awaken the world? This seems too easy!? Just spread the word and the next generation will be awake. What do we think? http://www.loyno.edu/twomey/blueprint/GoldenRule.jpg [edit]Sorry, had to turn hotlinked image to a URL, it's blowing out the forum too wide. -- Sean
  4. Golden Age, Golden Rule

incredible how this connect economics to alchemy to ethics, health, intelligence, kindness, a plan to save the world...etc what if the above image were posted in all school rooms and places of worship? I think the world would awaken right quick. What do you think? Seriously! Jesus said the golden rule is "the law and the prophets" and this is real profound!

  9. Hermetics?

I use this program called hermetic word frequency counter to quickly analyze electronic articles, documents and books for a concordance. I am looking for a text file of the old testament (Torah) to analyze this. I find that hermetics are very interesting. It would be interesting to see what the most popular search queries are on amazon.com? You know? Hermetics...wiki it if your interested. What do you feel about hermetics?
  10. Mayan Calendar

What do you all think? I have been researching a bunch lately. I feel a lot of sympathy for the movement. Jose Arguelos? Roerich? The multi-nation singing? The Pax culture? the emblem with the three circles found in all cultures and the fourth right? Art instead of money as a time measure? A real natural calendar that makes a lot more sense to use? Moon consciousness? Cosmic? Aliging days with chakras? Aligning 13 joing to 13 moons/months!?!!?! This is perhaps the prophecy...too cool? On the other hand Wikipedia talks crap about Argueles, although he says that Popal Vuh chose him. I like Arguelles a lot however. Please excuse my spelling and broadness...will explain any above points more if there is interest... lets discuss? Oh yeah, and I learned my Avatar is the GALACTIC BUTTERFLY ya heard?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. That is interesting. This website is a great resource. I have been thinking about going to China to study with a Taoist master or grandmaster however. I wonder if you might have any advice on that.
  12. I dont know about penis slapping but standing meditation is a lifelong thing...
  13. Hermetics?

I do not know whats the deal with Bardon... care to explain any? As I assume you have read those links. Thanks for the link to that forum, but I do not know which member to ask! Please have him join this thread? Empirical? Nice name for a Tao site, and the word sounds like "emperial"!
  14. Albino Peacock

What do we Taobums think of Natural Selection?
  15. Rosicrucian

  16. Check out CHias book Inner Structure of Tai Chi, sit with hips higher than knees, and learn Chi Nei Tsang and Tao inner alchemy (orbit, healing sounds, self massage, inner smile...)
  17. Solar Panels

Anyone get them installed? Worth it?
  18. Solar Panels

Hey Way What prompted my topic was that someone showed me their affiliate link to citizzenre. I thought it was too good to be true and want to see someone who actually had the panels installed. They do require 500 upfront but your supposed to get that back after a while. The site looks slightly like a pyramid scheme but perhaps I am just paranoid - keep us posted.
  19. click here to google search Legend of Atlantis and check out this movie! So far I am enjoying this a lot and I am on the third of the (almost) 6 hours. This movie is real mystical, occult, esoteric, well produced and has great narration sound, pictures and consiousness. I feel this may be epic? historic? Parts of it are slightly boring but overall this thing is amazing!!!
  20. Quakers

I was just reading Allan Combs book on the Grand Integral Vision. One line reads "taoists rival quakers as the most easy going people." In my own life I have met and been working with a Quaker who is really living in this vain. Anyone else know about or associate with Quakers? Whats their deal? I know they are real cool. I almost ended up going to college at a Quaker school in N Carolina called Guilford. The other day I looked at their religious studies deparment's courses and the most common word was "nature." Another sweet Quaker I hae been digging is this guy Ashok Gangadeen who started the world wisdom council...
  21. Quakers

Hmm real interesting... lets keep discussing the posture thing? perhaps best in a new thread. I find that laying/meditating in shivasana for some time before sleep, without a pillow, allows for my posture to realign. I also use my hand-chi to fix areas of the spine that are tense. I do not do much posture sitting right now, just standing. As for the "quaking" I was about to ask about this, seems there is little if any information however?
  22. DEATH

I saw Chia's new DVD out on reprogramming emotions... over the years he had many various docs and healers come who he learned from. I got a huge enegy from this teaching. On death, he said that in tao, essentialy: When we are sad about somone's death it pulls them down to earth. In the opposite, they rest in peace... Thought that was some real valueble wisdom, thanks.
  23. Quakers

Very funny, these people are sweeet. Still, they recline in meditation instead of sitting up?
  24. Quakers

I cant help but think of oates when I hear of them...but im getting over that now. Interesting about the zen... I hear there is a whopping 50 people at their meetings in Hartford here. Outbeats the Tibetan (kagyu) Buddhists who have like 10-15 But they do not sit up????
  25. Float tanks

Anyone here play with a float tank? I wonder what a Taoist's experience in one might be like. I wonder because a Taoist is real "in the body" and a floater might tend to go out of body...on the other hand I dont know. I do know this thing looks fun, anyone?
