Look at it froma Jing Chi Shen perspective - circulating not just sexual essence in the physical body but also subtle breath or heart essence in the energy body and spirit or universal force as shen - transforming merging... when the orbit opens the trinity of JING CHI SHEN (and all other trinities) will open and connect... I think this is what is happening (in reality) when the orbit really opens. The idea someone raised about Chia being the most advanced Tao master in the world? interesting. lol. all I got to say. I like also what someone said about every movement become part of the orbit - like reaching out to open a door or drinking somew water... it just gets integrated... we practice it so many times that we could be mistaking ourself when we say "now I will open it" as it is already open if you been embodying some kan and li...and whatnot. Putting one hand on the chest and one on the lower elixir field, I find, helps connect the kan and li so the ren and du can open and everything flows real nice.

I got a treatment from an advanced practitioner yesterday and it was intense! She released a lot of neck tension I was dealing with and also used her reiki master skills. The therapist was also massage licensed. She charges $80 for an hour treatment - 70 for students. She said she "loves her work" and "feels more at home there than at home" which I found really interesting. The C.S. work is extremely fun she says, and this shows - she was like glowing... she sees visions an hears things and has many interesting experiences in her work Im sure.. it is very cool stuff. Anyways, I thought I would start this thread for us to discuss CST and all that. What are you experiences? Thoughts? Amibitions?

I have had an up and down relationship with the orbit, although I find it is a great measure of my inner clarity - if it flows or not, that is. I am interested in learning more funky or blisfful physical methods for opening it - and very interested in the sounds or mudras or subtle qigongs which could help. Often I forget hos easy it is to take the hands and direct it to open in this way. Yesterday I learned that the first reiki attunement is involved with opening the central channel using the hands on points... this is very similar. If you look at the or google homunclus... it is clear as to why this method is important for getting it to flow... Recently I was thinking about how I try to open points but dont feel they are connected - got to make it flow back and forth between points... Also, I got a cranio sacral treatment recently from advanced practitioner and reiki master/massage therapist - I felt the orbit flow open very wide in this... intense experience....

I have been in touch with a fellow who is in charge of remaking Chia's set of videos. He is looking for insights. So, I am asking Taobums: What do you all envision for getting Chia's teachings bac on track? (Assuming it is possible.) I understand many people on this forum dissaprove of Chia himself. Well, perhaps this is your chance to salvage his soul. One idea I had, was to integrate a Rabbi and Islamic person doing the practices....know what I mean? Perhaps integrate a bunch of people from various religions? On the other hand, in this set I envision Chia being much more relaxed. Subtitles will be present, so people can understand him! The next set will be much less expensive than earlier releases... those releases are quite outdated now as they were all made in the 80's. Perhaps take a day and sleep on it. How would you redo this? (Perhaps showing a Mahayana ethic?) One suggestion I am making is to record the teachings outside and in a place with a nice environment, like at a mountain or lake.

Whats up with this Buddhist teacher? I have been waching his DVDs the past 2 days and look forward to listening to his 10 cd set for 8 or so hours of dharma talks and meditations. I am reading some Eva Wong "Holding Yin and Embracing Yang" and the question arose of: why the terms mentioned in this topic's title always tend to arise in alchemy? Even Jesus with the 3 wise men confronted some cinnibar? eh? What the heck is this stuff? on an alchemical level? What are we talking about here?

THis woman was a Tibetan Lama who went in the mountains and supposedly reached enlightenment there. I kinda feel her vibe... I think the vampirism and black taoism is not the heart of this system, but more like a side dish for working with those who need more time to cultivate or something. I am not defending the system, just pointing out my view of it--nor do I want to argue about it.

Perhaps this reflects Chia's background being raised in a BUddhist country and being forced to study Buddhism? feel like he is a Buddhist at heart almost! Thank you all for these insights! important considerations...
