  2. Mel, Absolutely agree with you! if you need practical instruction on this topic .. read 25 doors to meditation by bill bodri http://www.amazon.com/Twenty-Five-Doors-Me...d_sim_b_title_3 or wait till I will finish with it and loan it to you later..
  3. Who thinks Bill Bodri is right?

Hi Cameron, The more I practice the more I start believing Bodri/Nan approach .. Also you must agree that you can't make much money from saying people "sit and empty your mind" but with all neigong/chigong/yoga/martial etc stuff one would be able to milk followers forever... and we all know that Chinese really enjoy it and Bodri keep warning us.. Even Don Juan admitted that behind complicated structure of toltec system was one simple thing: "When a warrior learns to stop the internal dialogue, everything becomes possible..."
  4. Bill Bodri

Guys... I am just curious about Bill.. Some of his stuff is very strange for me to put it mild but some is truly amazing like white skeleton, 9-wind pranayama etc.. Last two articles on tantra in his blog are just great http://www.meditationexpert.com/blog/ he is very often sounds like the one who knows everything and the rest of us are ignorant.. and to be honest sometimes he is talking about things hardly could be found anywhere else... if somebody knows him personally question is: what is his personal level of enlightment? is he already supreme being compare to normal tao bums as us?
  5. Bill Bodri

Also could somebody comment on these two books from his website? 1/ White Fat Cow: How to Change Your Life, Fortune and Destiny Through Merit and Meditation 2/The Story of Chinese Taoism
  6. Kunlun in Australia?

I have asked Mantra too without success.. I was suggesting him to do something like online seminar for us also Seems like flying to Hawaii is only chance for us to get familiar with all the techniques not form the book...
  7. Embryonic Breathing

the best explanation is on preface for volume 2 by Michael Wurmbrand... also when do you find reverse breathing in those volumes? can't remember any mention of it..
  8. A Toltec view of Self

Hi Little1, Marilyn Tunneshende is nothing close to Carlos... fiction without any practise...
  9. Pillars of Bliss

Mantra what is the signs that Kunlun open up and I can put hands down? My right shoulder ( to be precise something deep inside deltoid musle) is really painfull after 10 minutes, but I usually struggle for 25 ... it is not injuery related at all... my guess probably posture is not side balanced.. for example I can do standing meditation with both hands facing upper dantan ( that i think more strenous than Kunlun 1) for 1 hour with little disconfort at the start...
  10. Lama Dorje

In his interview Max mentioned that he studied with Yaqui indians. The same source as for Carlos Castaneda.. Has he ever talk about practices he got from them? Or about Carlos's methods like dreaming, stalking, recapitulation etc..??
  11. Lin's Links

  12. Lin's Links

  18. Tensegrity

Hi Little1, I have read book more than couple of years ago... Are you sure it was from that book? Could you help with page or chapter? what i remember from Armando book that tensegrity introduced to help people to be free from flier's mind.... The wizards handle the foreign spirit while becoming hunters of energy. It is for this purpose that my troops and myself drew the exercises of tensegrity, which have the virtue to release us from the spirit of the "Flyers". But I do heard about that theory from other sources .. and seriously don't believe in it.. in the same manner Zhang Sanfeng could be "energy billionaire" thriving on all the people around doing tai chi... I don't think it will work that way...
  19. Tensegrity

MO .. do you mean Microcosmic Orbit?
  20. Tensegrity

not at all.. I enjoy discussion... main point of the thread how to combine daoist practices with toltec's ones.. if you think it is wrong. .. it is fine.. we must respect other's opinion if it is coming from personal experience.. just curious.. you are saying that tensegrity was invented/revealed to public to get our energy/attention.. etc (definitely not money.. as it was taught initially for free for everybody)
  21. Tensegrity

All Castaneda's stuff really did was plunge me into a world of Fantasy of sorcerers and magic and datura,Magic mushrooms:P And then Taoism kind of brought me back to reality Strange... you probably didn't plunge deep enough... what do you mean by Fantasy of sorcerers? Why some many people pay most attention to Carlos's women group? Mostly because they are envious .... Mentioning datura and mushrooms just ridiculous ... it is just tiny part of it (pumped up by potheads) and was used only for Carlos PERSONALLY because his energy structure... There is not much difference between daoism and nagualism: 1. powerful plants :datura, peyote - daoists consumed much worse than that, nobody blames them... 2. group of women - for paired sexual cultivation, Amy Wallace mentioned this several times... 3. dreaming - essential part of daoism too... 4. recapitulation -- harder to find parallel.. but quite close practice was mentioned in the book about Wang Liping.. 5. Tensegrity - chi gong.... not to mention practices with natural objects like trees, water, fog... etc..... namaste.....
  22. Tensegrity

Have you tried to do it together with recapitulation and dreaming work as was instructed in books??
  23. Oolong Rabbit, Would you recommend any of these DVD? are they good for practise?
  24. а Виагра то совсем другой стала....
  25. Thunder Path

Jakara, Two year ago I had absolutely the same dilemma ... and it takes a lot of courage to admit to yourself that doing most of daoist alchemy practices, tai chi, most of chi gung etc. WITHOUT teacher is just improving one's health if you are lucky and playing with one's ego. So honestly what system says do this and that by yourself and you will reach dao for sure or 87% in your 70ies? None.. but there are some that you MAY HAVE A CHANCE... and yogas of Naropa one of them.. and I know people who gained some siddhi doing it..
