It was a situation where a student (former Meth addict) who had turned his life around and after a short time of studying with Max had developed some really great healing abilities. He was told to avoid taking drugs recreationally because it would have very negative consequences. He didn't listen and hooked up with a woman who talked him into doing Ayuhuasca and then having sex. While having sex he had opened himself energetically to her. She happened to have an understanding of how to steal his essence which she did. In the exchange she took about 80% of his good energy and left him with 80% of her shit energy. Now regardless of what anyone believes it IS possible to do this kind of thing. Of course there is a price to pay for this type of sorcery. Many negative things are possible, but once you move from ignorance to enlightenment you will want only to help others. We like to help and not harm.

The energy vampire thing is pretty funny. We were all laughing about it the seminar this past weekend. With everyone leaving the seminar with MORE energy than they started with. Duh? I think it would be a fun creative writing project for everyone to follow SJ's lead and just make shit up about each other's lives with NO prior knowledge or experience. Actually,on second thought, that would be really stupid.

Max has read your experiences and says that you are having spontaneous openings. You are not getting chi-sickness. It is important that you allow all of the energy to be stored in the abdomen not in the head (that is where all of the heat comes from). When you do this the images may dim, but don't worry you are not losing them. When the enery is stored in the lower dan tien you will become more grounded. Do not do Kundalini exercises at this point because you already have enough rising fire. Simplify. Doing Kunlun will create the downward flow of water and balance the fire. This will also create a more subtle refined energy flow. You are beyond the full lotus sitting already. Congratulations on your success. Keep us posted. Chris

Your range of scope is quite limited in terms of Kunlun. I understand your perspective, but you are missing the bigger picture of what this practice can do for you. It is not a "shaking" practice. It is a "letting go" practice. Letting go into your own depths is a very simple yet difficult thing. You will face your demons and you must be brave to move through them. Take the posture and let the mind go for one hour. You might be surprised at what happens to you.
-
Level one is all I have done and all you need as far as Kunlun goes because it clears the clouds and allows you to experience your true nature. That is an infinitely vast and amazing experience once you actually open up to it. It is simple, like learning to walk, but once you learn to walk you can go anywhere.

The method of burning palm is a slapping technique and the vibrating palm is done above the skin's surface (no touching). Vibrating palm is used in cases where someone cannot handle the pain of burning palm or on women if a man is applying the technique. Burning palm releases toxins that accumulate in the organs by loosening the internal tension that hold the toxins inside. Heat is an effect of toxin release. Sometimes you will absorb the impact and leave no mark on your skin(if you need the extra energy), other times you will end up with a raised welt as the toxins release. Vibrating palm does something similar by using yang chi above the surface of the body but can also use a shaking method on the surface. This method is good for lymphatic drainage. Also used for warming the body when very cold. In the old days palming was used for self-defense by shocking the person's nervous system by over stimulation of the nerves. Max will only teach the medicine aspect.

Max actually just taught a class on Tibetan burning palm and vibrating palm yesterday. They are both excellent for healing.

You left out the most important mechanism of all: feeling. Consider the wealth of information you were able to accumulate as an infant. What was your primary mechanism for understanding your new world? Feeling. You follow feeling as your guide through the infinite world within. By holding the Kunlun posture you match the divine harmonic frequency (if you can let go of the mind) and everything of a lesser vibration falls away. This is a feeling, like love. Do you possess the capacity to explain the mechanism of love? This the "mechanism" we are dealing with.

This too has been addressed many times in many ways. The Kunlun posture activates an internal reset function that quickly realigns the mind, body, and spirit. When these energy bodies are brought back to harmony the experience of divine bliss (void) is achieved. In that state, confusion is made clear. Our relationship to the creator is clear. Our purpose for being here is clear. Our understanding of our true nature is also very clear. Our understanding of our connectedness is clear. Many things. It is up to the individual to let go into the feeling generated by the practice to get the most out of it. When you can break the barrier of death itself you can experience the higher realms. If you take everything I have written and look at the different ways I have tried to present the experience, you will have a pretty good idea of the process. It is simultaneously simple and infinitely complicated. A spirited debate is a good thing, but we should enter these discussions with humility and respect for each other's perspective. I only know what I know based on my experience (which in the big picture is very little). We all have a piece of the puzzle. We all are a piece of the puzzle. Beyond the limitations of mundane reality, we are AMAZING beings. Be nicer to each other.

Two things Buddy: One, our nervous systems are not connected yet. That that is the prerequisite. Two, the energy we send is blissful and gives you a rush. Why would yours hurt?

OK. Let's not call it a "chi ball," if that trips you up. I personally don't think it is an accurate description of the energy I am discussing anyway. It is just a term that others here have used. Q: So, how far would you say this "circulatory" energy can be felt? Six inches? Twelve? One hundred feet? Unlimited? A: All of the above. Skepticism is good but it is clear that there are levels of Nei Gung that you and Starjumper have yet to experience. Neither of you seem to be able to speak to the application of nei gung. If I were to ask you to explain to me the process by which the "sky eye" or "wisdom eye" is opened and what kind of experiences I should expect, I don't think that either of you could give me an educated answer. I could actually put together a list of questions for you guys that would quickly determine your level of aptitude and would sufficiently end this. If you look back, someone named Satori had posed a few questions to Starjumper that were clearly out of his range of experience and he simply glazed over them. Instead he continued to respond with more name calling and slander, but nothing of substance.
