I tried to share the scoop with the Ape but he didn't get it. He has invented a story in his mind about Max and Jenny. He doesn't know her. Actually, I have laid out the facts on many issues here and none of them seem to matter. We are dealing with people who do not have experience with this subject and they don't care what the people who do have experience with it have to say. It is hard-headed, agenda-based bullshit.

"I lost my friend to Kunlun and Max so now I must destroy them!" OK Steve, we all know you are hurting, but please stop lashing out. You have no idea what is going on with the spontaneous process, so quit trying to put a negative spin on it. Everything that people who do Kunlun are going through, is their own process. They are doing it to themselves, for themselves. Spontaneous movements like falling on the floor (for grounding) and curling up in the fetal position (rebirth) are normal reactions we see when people open themselves to what they have inside and surrender the old crap they have been storing. Nobody is doing that for them. This is the body resetting itself. This is the initial part of the process of harmonizing mind, body and spirit. Once a certain level of harmony has been achieved, they find that movements diminish because the body channels are open. The process is different for everyone. Some may move quite a bit and some not at all. As you awaken to that divine energy, everything that is of a lower vibration like emotional blocks, tension patterns, dampness in the body and physical imperfections will be harmonized by this process of internal surrender. The result is a scintillating feeling of union with the vast emptiness of Tao. This is also why you only need to see the teacher once. Because once you have the method, you have the tools you need to embark upon your own path of purification and return to divinity. It is a personal quest where you answer your own questions and realize your own truths. As you move through each point of tension in your body and you begin to harmonize them they reveal the emotion that is stored within it. When these things release it can cause the body to go into different kriyas or they may manifest as coughing or singing or something else. It is a beautiful thing. When you open yourself to your divine energy it can be experienced as a snake working it's way through the body channels. As it moves, it clears the channels. This is what the caduceus symbolizes and this is why the snake has been used as a symbol over and over in many spiritual traditions.

Actually, it depends on the company. When the Lamas bring monks to Max they have to do what he says, so he makes them take off their robes, put on civilian clothes, and go eat pizza or hamburgers and drink coke. For breakfast and/or midnight snack it is Cocoa Puffs. Now, who would do that to Tibetan monks? This is the "Coyote" way. It is a very advanced form of teaching requiring a broad enough perspective that you know the correct prescription for each individual's block. The simpleton may not appreciate the subtle nuance of this method and dismiss it as dishonest or "mean/tricking/lying" but it is truly a beautiful thing because it gets you out of your own set of patterns to force you to look at things from another perspective and then REALLY learn something. He may teach a kung fu form one way one day and completely different the next and then completely different the next. The point of course being that you are not learning the form, but the ESSENCE of the form, which is the most important part. Anybody can mimic.

Yup, he is just trying to make a positive thing into something negative for his own benefit. He is like a guy who comes up to a group of people at a theater waving his arms and screaming at them to not go see a certain movie. He proceeds to explain why it is so horrible and what it will do to them if they watch it. When they tell him that they have just seen for the third time and it was amazing, he still insists it is horrible. When they ask him if he has seen it he says, "Well, no, but I have seen the trailer and it is HORRIBLE. Don't see it anymore! Your life depends on it!......WORMS!!!" They slowly back away shaking their heads. SJ, why would you want to be that guy? And who in their right mind would want to train with you? Why can't you just talk about your thang and have that be good enough? Is it not good enough?

Spirit Ape, You have some interesting views of Jenny and Max. Just so you know, they are extremely fond of each other. Jenny supports Max 100% and is very happy that he is the one getting this practice out to the world. Jenny is amazing and she will teach you level 1, but that is pretty much it. She has her reasons which she will probably explain in her class. You see Max taught her his stuff and she taught him her stuff. They have enhanced each other by sharing practices. Much of Max's knowledge and his stories come from his teachers so she won't explain things in the same way or be able to elaborate much on Max's perspective and vice-versa. The three levels of her teacher's method have remained intact with the exception of level 3 which Max has enhanced with the arm/energy cycling movements. Hers is just a seated, emptiness meditation. Max is considered the master technician by his teachers and they recognize that he has spent many a lifetime as a master practitioner (he would never use the term "master" himself mind you). They knew he would go out and teach these things and they are quite pleased, otherwise their knowledge would die. The West needs it now and he is one Westerner who can bridge the gap. Also, if you don't think you will feel her "transmission", you may be in for a big surprise. Knocked me out for 36 hours. Max on the other hand is doing a lineage transmission from his Maoshan and Wudang lineages. People need to understand what that is. What he is doing is introducing a frequency (for lack of a better term) or an energetic pattern (like a fu) that can lie dormant in you like a seed. When you do your practice you are feeding that seed with the exact energy it needs to cultivate. As it grows and your body begins to match the frequency of what you have been given, the information that has been transfered to you from the masters that came before, becomes available to you. And while Max does not emphasize theory he does explain how the many practices he teaches work in the body and he does discuss the elements involved pretty extensively. So, that too is a misconception. This "complete system" Jenny was taught involved the three levels in our book and not much else. You see her teacher was not someone you asked questions of. He gave it and left you to find your own understanding. She didn't even know the "original" name of the practice until a month ago. For her own reasons we will not reveal that. It only matters for reasons not relevant to the practitioner. You will not find any information on the practice because her teacher only taught her and he is now, according to her, "the top teacher in China." He is known for never teaching his secret stuff to anyone (except he taught her). Jenny is great. We love her. You will have fun. As far as the combination of practices goes, Max has found that Kunlun level 1 opens the energy, Red Phoenix from Maoshan controls the energy in a very specific way and then there is another practice that amplifies the energy, but the latter is not readily given. Kunlun and Red Phoenix are all that is needed to attain the Gold Dragon (light) body. It doesn't take long, but you must be clear in what you want and you must be brave. The mirror can be a scary place when the fullness of what you are is revealed to you. The physical changes come quickly and can be alternately uncomfortable and very blissful. It ain't all butterflies and fairies. You must face the dark stuff within and deal with it. It is there for a reason and you can't progress without learning what it is it has to teach you. This is why piety is a trap and various other creations of the ego can be traps. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU HAVE FOOLED THE WORLD, ultimately you have to face yourself: all of what you are. So again, very simply, you open all of the energetic channels with Kunlun and you direct the energy with Red Phoenix activating the wisdom of the secret square inch or crystal palace. You can reach very empty states where you feel as though you are dissolving. If you find yourself teetering on that threshold and you are brave enough to go with it, you may dissolve physically into light. Good luck with your quest. Chris

Yeah, he has milked this one for enough attention already. I know Max better than anybody and I can tell you that there is nothing negative there. We are VERY open about everything. Steve would be ashamed of himself if he ever met Max in person. Having said that I wish him the best.

Steve, I just found out through a mutual friend what your real issue is and it ain't got nothin' to do with Max. You should be honest with the community and tell them what really irks your heart or just say nothing at all. In the future, don't vent your personal frustrations on innocent strangers like Max. You are a grown man for god sakes, you should know by now that life has its ups and downs. It ain't pretty, but you need to deal with your shit responsibly, like the rest of us. In this case it doesn't matter if it was Max, Cameron, Yoda, Trunk, August Leo, Sean or anyone else I know here, I would defend them the same. You can't just make stuff up about people cuz you are hurting. I wish you the best my friend and I truly hope you start to feel better in your personal life. Nothing you say is verifiable because you are lying. Plain and simple. You have gone far beyond mere opinion. What you are doing is actually illegal. It is called defamation of character. SJ really talks like a novice with a chip on his shoulder. All his talk of "power" and what-not. Max is the first person to tell you that he has no more or less power than any of us. He says he can do what he can do because of a certain understanding of the one law. It is clear that SJ doesn't understand the first thing about real power. First of all, the only power that matters is the power over your own ego, something that is clearly far from being achieved in this case. I have met a lot of amazing beings in the past few years. When I say amazing it is of a level that I can't even begin to tell you because you wouldn't believe me. But in every case there is the foundation of supreme humility behind what they do. Something lacking in our Star Wizard from Seattle. I was honestly surprised that he is so old and talks the way he does. "I beat the sh*t out of the dudes and bang all the chicks, yuk, yuk..." Ego, ego, ego. He will find that his pursuit of power has a ceiling. It dead-ends and then you have to look in the mirror. Scary. He can say what he wants, but as far as I am concerned he chickened out on meeting the real thing. That is typical of someone in his position.

Funny thread. Starjumper, we were in your home town two weeks ago. You had the opportunity to meet Max in person. That is why we always do the free lecture, so people who have questions about his character or his energy can find out for themselves. That meeting would have answered ALL of your questions. Instead, you continue to make wild accusations that, obvious to the rest of us, come from a place of arrogance, ignorance and fear. It is clear that you still have NO idea who you are talking about and this is the product of choosing to speak from the fringes instead of direct experience.

YM, You don't know what you are talking about here. You don't know Lum Dai Yong and Andrew Lum, Jenny Lamb and her (unnamed) teacher, and Max Christensen. Now, the problem is, those who DO know the truth about these people are probably not interested in talking to a stranger like you about them. You don't have and can't get the info you need to properly argue your case. Probably best to let it go. FWIW, I think that all of this stuff (Taoism) actually originated in Shamanism and we know where shaman get their insights: psychotropic substances, their higher self and non-physical beings. So, how deep do you need to drill into history before you are happy with what you determine to be a legitimate "source"? The personal experience of practice itself is all that matters.

It is not that reaching an enlightened state is particularly difficult. All it takes is surrender to the divine whilst doing your practice. It can happen in an instant. The real challenge is coming back from that state and retaining the perspective throughout your day. After all, we have done this very thing by choosing to take an earthly life. Most of us run around confused. We eventually end up buying into the illusion and forgetting our true nature. To maintain recognition of our true nature is to retain an enlightened state. -
Yeah, you don't feel anything in the initial transmission. What happens after that and with other types of transfers is another story.

Hey Dusty, We are all mirrors for the creator. We ARE the creator reflecting itself back on itself in seemingly infinite forms for the benefit of greater understanding. This is why the creator divided itself into so many fractals. What am I? Imagine you exist in a void. The only point of reference in knowing what you are is to move to the edge of that void and then look back on the whole. Now imagine you see that part of what you are, but there is more to understand because there is the consciousness that is observing the observed that has not yet been seen. So, in looking back on yourself, you create a duplicate and from that duplicate you move to that edge and reflect back again. You continue to do this until seemingly infinite divisions and reflections of yourself exist. The Fibonacci series describes this "evolution" as it starts with 0 (void) and continues to 1 (the perspective from the edge). The pattern is developed as the consciousness repeats this process creating a new form from the previous two. This is the pattern: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, etc, and this is how things evolve in nature. What brings all of the fractals (us) back to one is when they individually gain a greater understanding of their true nature. The drop returns to merge with the ocean of the divine, both nourished by it's experiences. What Kunlun does is it harmonizes the imbalances in your being so that you can see yourself more clearly. Like our Buddhist friends say, "It quickly clears the clouds so that the sunlight of the divine can shine." It reveals the blocks and gives you a different perspective on them, and to a degree and "objective" perspective or non-attached perspective. From this perspective it can be easy to say, "Wow, that is a ridiculous thing for me to carry. It no longer serves me and I choose to let it go." Even after seven years of this kind of processing (path erasing) I have deeper insights into my own "stuff." My practice revealed to me that I carry patterns of self doubt and self judgement. These are two biggies and they will jack you up on a regular basis, but what I learned is that when I break the pattern my reality changes. If you are afraid of public speaking, go give a speech. If you are afraid of what others will think of you, dye your hair purple and wear adult diapers on the outside of your clothes. Put yourself in the situation and blow through it by either forcefully changing the pattern or simply surrendering to the outcome. You will survive. This the best way to break patterns. When the situation arises react differently than you normally would. If a certain song drives you crazy and fills you with hate, download it and play it until it no longer affects you. If gay animal porn scares you, Google 'gay-animal-porn' and watch it until it has no impact. We must face our stuff because it is the only way to move on to a place of peace. I like to think of my experience here as a my participation in a game simulation (nothing more). How well I play the game is important but part of that is understanding not to buy into the game too much and to remember it is just a game: a "gittin' rid of your own bullsh*t" game. Surrender judgement. Surrender control. Surrender to the infinite love in your heart as you smile and breathe FREELY into it. Enjoy your life. Really,...do it. Cheers! Chris

Philosophy is important in that it helps align your thinking in the direction of your goal. However, I don't think it (when received externally) is an absolutely necessary element to facilitate self-awakening. When you do your practice regularly (if you have a good practice), it will reveal the correct understanding by itself and the philosophy will come naturally. You will get the right teachings from yourself, which, of course, is the best teacher available. "You need a teacher to show you that you don't need a teacher."

I am not so sure about that. You will have to get that from her. She told me Monday that she is only interested in teaching level one as, "It is enough for most people." Also, she will teach more philosophy than Max generally does. He, as you may know, is more interested in giving you as many practices as you can handle, so you can pick the one(s) that resonate with you personally. People will like her style though, she is very wise and very powerful. We also talked about bringing her out to teach a special women's class. I think many women practitioners could benefit from such an intensive.

He is opening himself with the Kunlun and then directing the energy by utilizing the Maoshan methods. The results are a very powerful blissful opening felt by the recipient. Kan was actually very blissed out once he recovered from the blasts. No. You would open up everything and doing level two would allow you to direct the energy, but the application is different.
