Ive only experienced it full blown in front of various masters or teachers. But basically... which I experience enough, is just that love for everyone, natural compassion and a feeling of connection. There are different levels to experiencing this connection. For me it's just through contemplation and meditation, also transmission from living examples.

Actually, very little of the food turns into sexual fluids. HAHA!

Breath meditation with mantra, flowing the breath with the mantra. There are different mantras and different techniques. For instance, Om Ah Hum with breath is different from Om Mani Padme Hum with breath. Also applying the different mantras to the different chakras, like you should have learned in Dzogchen transmission from Chogyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche. Just doing his medium tun is enough per day, with mantra, mudra, visualization, focus of compassionate intention, the 9 purifying breaths, etc, etc. It's all in the transmissions.

Mantra IMO. But, that's just my tradition I guess as I'm not sure what Taoists do in place of mantra?

Wow, that's awesome! The symbolism is wild! Liberty protecting you from Justice? Just got into an argument with my wife... so lapis lazuli light to her as well.

I've always had this to a degree my entire life. But it got really intense with 3rd eye opening. For me, mantra is amazingly grounding and centering. I used mantra very intensely in meditation practice with the breath, empowered by a meditation master first for many years, getting acquainted with it's inner power and gaining experiential faith in the power even before feeling intensely what you are talking about. But, because of mantra, I'm more able to protect myself internally from such bombardments. It does take practice. I use two empowered mantras interchangeably from two lineages as they seem to work in different ways.

Mantra is deeply calming. I'm talking about when it first started happening, I started freaking out a bit. Seeing through walls, hearing thoughts, smelling things from a distance, etc. I thought I was bonkers, even though the texts I was reading talked about such things. Reading about and experiencing directly was entirely different. Plus I was able to actually feel another persons feelings so acutely at first, even if they were sick. Being able to see inside a person, or see their various spirits around them, dark or light, or both, or in-between... etc. At first it was a bombardment that kept me up at night. Hearing the thoughts of people in cars passing by the house late at night. I had to leave the urban life for a while and just focus on practice and intense mantra. I've calmed down now and am more able to control it. I've acclimatized more, even if far from mastered anything. Exactly. You can't have compassion for others unless you have compassion for yourself first. I'm also not a believer in doormat compassion though. I will protect myself, even if I genuinely feel care for the person wishing me harm. The hardest thing to do is to enact violence even if it's necessary. I do my Bodhisattva vows, the version where I vow to attain enlightenment for all sentient beings, every time I sit for practice. I have not mastered that either though. Ok... I've noticed pink light. I prefer the blue though, lapiz lazuli, it's more calming and integrated in my opinion and experience. This is also what my various lineage masters have taught as well. Anyhow... Pink light to you as well! P.S. I don't know RJ, but that sounds like fun.

When my heart center opened, I found that I was more able to be sensitive to all living beings feelings and be empathetic towards them on an intuitive level. I have experienced direct communication with animals after 3rd eye opening, but I wasn't sure if I was merely channeling an outside spirit or hearing another psychics thought waves through the animal as I was translating everything I felt the animals were thinking into English, so it sounds far fetched to me, even though there were actions that were serendipitous to what I was hearing. I had an x-girlfriend who could control animals with her thoughts... she was pretty dark in her magic though and not at all interested in enlightenment. This was many years ago and she refused me to talk about enlightenment theories in front of her. She had amazing seduction powers though, and I was a fool.

From a book? HA! If you only knew the truth my dear. I live constantly dealing with non-physical experiences. I wish it were only from a book, I would only desire mundane answers to mundane questions, due to limiting mundane experiences. I speak about 3rd eye opening because my 3rd eye has been opened. I have experienced what you are talking about with time dilation. Where it seems one is reading past and future events in the seeming now. This can be discombobulating at first and lead to mind scattering. I have found that mantra is the greatest friend, just repeating it in layers and following it deep into my own consciousness, subtler and subtler offers so much protection from all that seeming chaos that can happen when the 3rd eye starts to open more and more. Having self compassion is deeply key here as one's unlocked inner secrets will come to light and not all of it will be wondrously cute, furry, cuttley care bear stuff. Though... at the same time, plenty of it will be as well. Very beautiful! I recommend just breath meditation and not really trying anything per say. It will all happen naturally in my opinion.

Not including the sarcastic intention... this is quite funny! Which is why of those that scorn my presence here. I more prefer your version of scornful commentary which at least includes some creative comedy.

Allow the muddy waters of mental activity to clear; Refrain from both positive and negative projection - leave appearances alone: The phenomenal world, without addition or subtraction, is Mahamudra/liberation. -Tilopa

Never mind ralis. You should have put me on ignore loooong ago and left it at that. All dimensions of experience exist within space and time. I'm talking about transcending experience, experiencer and experienced. So... no... conventionally speaking, "I" did not transcend space-time.
-
How many times have I mentioned multi-dimensional throughout my time here? With all your arguments against my statements, you sure don't have much of a memory of what you were arguing against. But, at the same time, all dimensions of space are all connected, inter-dependent and empty of inherent existence, transcending both ideas of one or multiple. This is the blast off experience of the sahasarara transcending space, time, and notions of any sort.

Looks interesting. I like the idea of merging the heart with the 3rd eye as well, as ones sense of transcendent love and compassion or the 4 immeasurables/brahmaviharas will expand beyond the mere physical realm into endless space or vice versa, and one will be able to have compassion in subtler states of consciousness including and during experiences as mundane as the dream realms. Of course the dream realm also does not have to be limited to mundane reflections if you are akin to spiritual contemplation and experience.

Yes, you are talking about physical space. I am not referring to merely physical space. But the space of the 6 realms and 31 planes which includes this physical realm. I am basically referring to infinite space. The space of the mind can transcend the physical space of this particular physical universe.
-
No, there is beyond space, which is why there is the Crown chakra, or Sahasarara. Other than this... I have my experiences that are backed up by yogis of antiquity. So, I'll go with that. Anything that exists within relation to experience through any of the physical or psychic senses exists in one dimension of space or another.
-
Yes, the Buddhist conception is that none of the elements nor chakras are static. It's all relative to what your particular goals are. You can do many different things with the energy centers as they are not static poles of power, bur rather relative modes of mind or personal energy.
-
The 3rd eye can open dependent upon various causes and conditions, not just the ones I've stated above. There is not a single occurrence that doesn't arise due to causes and conditions.

Good... good. Thanks for trying. What I meant is that every chakra predominantly vibrates with one or the other elements. The 5 elements in traditional Indian thought is ether/space, air, water, fire, earth. The 3rd eye or ajna chakra is considered connected to endless and limitless space or ether which is why the 3rd eye is associated with transcendent knowledge of inter-dimensional objects. For example; spirits, auras, other realms, parallel universes... etc. So by contemplating how space permeates everything equally, and how everything is merely space manifest in a kind of sense, one's mind stretches beyond it's parochial concerns into more cosmic, or expanded states of knowing. Knowledge beyond 3 dimensions is available for one who contemplates the nature of space and successfully opens the 3rd eye. What I mean when I say that it is all connected to the 5 senses, is that seeing through the 3rd eye is merely expanding the experience of the 5 senses. One has clairaudience (hearing beyond the physical), clairvoyance (seeing beyond the physical), so on and so forth for all the other senses.
-
Since the 3rd eye is connected to space, or ether. Focusing on and contemplating time and time again the endless nature of space, the encompassing nature of space, the empty and full nature of space, the pervasive and persistent nature of space, one can have 3rd eye opening arise dependent upon these contemplations where the consciousness ceases to be limited by the seeming confines of individuality and one is able to see, feel, hear, smell, and even taste multi-dimensionally beyond the 5 senses but connected to the 5 senses.

That's both interesting and horrible. Poor kittens!

When I post, he psychically haunts me a bit and puts me into an energy that I can feel. It's not very nice, nor compassionate. I'm not an unenlightened being pretending to be enlightened. I am just an practitioner on the path pointing out a few of his mis-interpretations since he is deciding to use some Buddhist phraseology. Since he decides to attack me on a level beyond merely this board. I will like to counter his mis-understandings through this medium and maybe he can be a little humbler and look more at himself rather than projecting intense and self solidified judgments of others, which like I said, I can feel.

Drew, I felt you last night. It's like you have hate for your lower chakras and you have so many mis-conceptions around sex that I doubt you would know how to be truly intimate with an actual female partner? It was like I was encased in this dark bubble of judgment by you on a psychic level. I used to be like this when I was as extremely into transcendence as you are. Just, up, up, up. You will become a god in a high realm, but that's not liberation. It's sad, because in certain respects you do know what you are talking about, but it's mostly all quite subjective and limited to your own level of experiences, all of which I've had. All your energy is caught "up" and not very grounded. You are kind of stuck "up" in a way... which is better than being stuck "down", but your subconscious projections and judgments arising from your inability to really love your human nature blocks you. I personally haven't even ejaculated for a number of days. I don't count the days because I'm able to bring the essence of the energy up to my head during orgasm, even if I let go of a little bit of sexual fluids as waste, thus I wake up after orgasm when most men get tired. Sex is not a block for me anymore, neither mentally nor spiritually. Me and my wife don't have sex every single day and go many days without being intimate. I also don't release much sexual fluid at all when I do orgasm, having long and strong elongated orgasms that fill my entire body due to the fact of practice. So... you my friend suffer from some aspects of schizophrenia. I remember when you were called out for many of your projections on me and CowTao and you stopped talking for a little while. Drew, you are on a high horse of judgment and you don't really read as clearly as you think you do. You probably could use some real female intimacy in order to break free from your hate for your grounding and earthly chakras. Some great Masters actually recommend this to their students, in order to help the student get over many mental dogmas which you seem to worship as true spirituality. EDIT: Due to your practice, your judgments and self limitations can be felt quite powerfully and are quite stressful to deal with especially since I am the focus of these judgments and since I have done much 3rd eye work and opening up. The only way out of your powerful projected judgment bubbles for me has been complete surrender to emptiness, then the experience of the tension is transformed into easy and soft energy, malleable instead of hard. Also your understanding of emptiness is equivalent to the meditative state of infinite space, or the ether that all things have their space in. This is not the same as Buddhist discussion or experience of emptiness in reference to dependent origination, just so that you are clear.
