Actually, what it does is it turns the physical karmas into a continuous condition of offering that is closer to this dimension. Most enlightened beings go into the higher energy dimensions which are harder for us dense, Earth bound people to connect to. But, enlightened beings who attain the rainbow body remain closer to Earth and are able to be revealed to us Earth bound beings much easier. So, it is a great and compassionate attainment. According to Buddhism, you have to be a high level Bodhisattva to connect to a Buddha on the Sambhogakaya level, but because a Buddha who turns his Nirmanakaya or physical emination of Buddha wisdom into the enlightened radiances of the physical elements in order to connect more easily with us, it is considered the highest level ability for an enlightened being to manifest compassion.

Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?
Vajrahridaya replied to Stigweard's topic in General Discussion
Wow, for a man of your age, one would think you would be more detached?? It's just surprising is all how affected you are. -
Yes, sometimes it's good to just do the above and stop the sitting practice for a while if the imagery coming up is too disturbing. Just do the above well enough and meditation will happen while sleeping anyway. I find this is where mantra can really help to just align the mind throughout the day without having to sit, during these periods of excess hurtful subconscious imagery while sitting.

Is Tao an Ontological Essence of Life?
Vajrahridaya replied to Stigweard's topic in General Discussion
Ah this poor thread. I did learn some nice things in here about individuals perspectives and had some fun debates that I felt were elevating. So sorry that my detractors had to ruin it with all the drive by shootings. I keep fooling myself into thinking that there will be some benefit in my rebuttal. So sorry guys that I make this mistake. -
Sure. Well yes, in a sense the more wise or insightful we are about the nature of things as a whole, the vaster space our thoughts have as a reference for there existence in our experience. As in, a wise persons thought patterns reflect a wider array of awareness and information beyond the thought itself. It's like, the whole frog in the pond and the bird telling the frog that there's a big ocean out there kind of thing. The frog being conventional thought and the bird being from the sky of wisdom. Yes, being aware in the delta brain wave state does take either lucid dreaming practice or regular meditation practice sustained over a stretch of time in order to work out the density in the way. Sometimes if you are open, one can experience this consciously within the presence of a master, working kind of like mental osmosis. Their vibe is so much more grounded, deeper and stronger that you experience it in their presence. That deep, peaceful calm where ones actions are released from conventional thinking boundaries. I do agree. Though I know that we disagree on what our realistic boundaries are as humans.

Yes, wisdom is vast like the sky while knowledge helps integrate that wisdom and ground it in conventional settings.

You're welcome to your opinion. As am I. -
I don't agree. Conventional thinking doesn't have to get in the way if you see through it. Though stilling the mind is definitely part of the path. There are also many layers to thought all the way to imagery, emotions, and even color spectrum energy patterns. But yes, conventional thought should be seen through entirely through insight.

Yes, it's really just the release of inner psychological blockages through the experiential mirror of life. I think we all go through this. Swami Muktananda talked about his intense confusion and suffering he underwent during his process in "Play of Consciousness".
-
Yes, as life is ordered chaos or chaotic order anyway. I do find that the more insight I have, the more of a secret multi-dimensional order I do see in the seeming chaos of life anyway, thus less confusion ensues.
-
I already saw that. I would say Buddhists are both and Taoists are just cats. Nah, nah!
-
Yes, I've experienced this. You are seeing basically the sub-moments of your mind and seeing how your mind illumines each moment before it's perceived by the senses.

You are right indeed... I do debate the existence of the self, both ultimate and relative. Both only relatively though. -

Obviously your person is very wrapped up in your belief. I say the belief is narrow, not the person who does not inherently exist. No, you do. Not in tone, wording or intention. -

You shouldn't try to read what you don't have the capacity to understand. This is in more ways than 1. P.S. Putting me on ignore might benefit you much more for now. -

Relatively yes, victims do, but not ultimately. There is always an empty of self nature cause and empty of independent cause condition for an empty of merely self reference result which in turn is an empty and dependently arisen cause and thus "empty" of ultimate bondage condition. Therefore, nothing is really static, except the fact of relativity. So for Lino to identify with being a victim as an ultimately true reality does not give much space for his own evolution and ability to change his perception of this, "trojan." If the causes and conditions surrounding this experience can be seen directly, then the inner experience can be transformed directly. Sometimes this takes effort, and sometimes... as in Dzogchen, it's just immediate and experiential insight, which as well mostly takes some effort to get to, but only relatively so.
