Clearing up Buddhism by the thuscomeone

For us, Yo and Wu are the same... this is the greatness of the view that is dependent origination/emptiness. It takes some study to get a conceptual grasp of what it means... it's not merely a cause and effect model view. -
I think he's basically saying that emptiness takes precedence no matter if you are conscious of it or not, there is space there, in every situation... malleability.

Very good. I applaud that. Mikey was speaking within an extreme and was only partially correct. Indeed.

No... not bliss... just conditional pleasure. Liberation is bliss, like no other. Of course to get there one has to go through the dross and damage that we have hidden underneath all that pretense. Which can be painful... but, if we don't deal with it now while we are aware of it... ?? EDIT: Or rather the physical capacity as a human being to deal with it. Mikey is right on. He's not saying that this is liberation, he's saying that this is the conditional reality that we think we are in control of, but actually controls us... So yes, we renounce that line of thinking... because what Mikey was speaking about, is exactly what bondage is. Which is why one chooses a path to liberation from this exact ignorance.

Sayings of past spiritual teachers!

What need is there to say more? The childish work for their own benefit, The buddhas work for the benefit of others. Just look at the difference between them. If I do not exchange my happiness For the suffering of others, I shall not attain the state of buddhahood And even in samsara I shall have no real joy. SHANTIDEVA If you notice, the selfish are contracted, never really there with you, always looking for a way out, never really engaging, never looking you or life in the eye. Enjoying life is a great gift... Only those that see that we are all here together, sharing the same beautiful Earth, interconnected, co-creating our mutual home, have real joy. -
All right, you don't believe in astrology...

It's all just causes and conditions, gravitational pulls, working on your water element, both physically and subtle level... You know... "Bam", which connects with the other elements. The water element is very powerful in the physical world as it's actually most of the physical world on Earth so we are very effected by gravitational pulls even on a very subtle level. Enlightenment is basically making all the positive aspects of our signs manifest, and why not... a little transcendence too through seeing with the eye of "shunya"... -
I absolutely agree! In my Dzogchen practice we even do dancing meditation. It's very contemplative with visualization, specific contemplation to bring specific results. etc. Many people don't realize that ritual in Vajrayana has real purpose. If utilized with the right view of course, otherwise it is just an empty ritual. Anyway... All the wonders of meditation in motion await you!
-
Very good, but also doubt your doubts... rigorously look into their causes and conditions.

F%&kin' Loooove Jeff Bridges!! Some of my favorite actors in that movie! Thanks for the heads up!! I didn't know that I could train myself to kill goats through the power of my chi... oh wait... yes I did... But, I never knew that they made a movie highlighting this sacred and ancient technique of goat killing... Amazing!! So awesome... definite go see!! Loooove all those actors... my fav's!!

This is a common Western Dilemma, where the I is given so much importance, defined by personal identity for the sake of striving for the materialist dream and putting "me" out there in order to "get" that dream! In the East of course the I... until recent Western influence, was more defined by family and culture, religion, etc. Not that the Western mode of strong egoism is not a good and healthy balance, but it needs to be less stern I think and not so brick. Really, what the wisdom paths are getting at is just being flexible... when we hold on to a stiff definition of "I", we loose our flexibility to learn and re-evaluate ourself depending upon the situation at hand. We are to be more like water with this "I", formless and evolving, not stagnant, "This is who I am and damnit I ain't changin' for nobody!" We don't have to change for anybody but if we wish to evolve, we need to realize the our I originates dependent upon causes and conditions and if we reflect more the causes and conditions of the now, then we are more appropriate within the now, more in line with it, merged into the moment sort of speak and less contracted about being open to new and exciting challenges in life that will help us evolve and also please us, as life is really to be enjoyed. Being stagnant like a pond cut off from the ever evolving currents of the ocean is really boring. That's all... it doesn't mean not having an I per say, just being more flexible in handling ourselves is all.

Rigpa is the awareness of emptiness, it goes first from personal, to universal, child rigpa, to mother rigpa sort of speak. If you want to know more... I mean lots more. Read, "Crystal and the Way of Light" link to Amazon.com by Chogyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, both his main teachers, his Uncle and his root Guru attained the Rainbow body. He gives practices that lead to this realization. You would need transmission from him to go any further as I am not authorized to really share such information and Rinpoche say's not to talk about Dzogchen too much on an open forum as it's a very special and sacred teaching that should be given between a lineage master and a truly honest seeker, not just a whole bunch of internet junkies... LOL! I'm not talking about you... well, mostly me really... . No, he is my root Guru and I can only follow his advice as best as I can. But, there is a book that does go into various detailed information that is generally considered... "classified" and it's called... "Heart drops of Dharmakaya" link to Amazon.com You might actually be able to find both of these books at your local Barnes and Nobles. I found Crystal and the Way of Light that way and other books by ChNNR. All the best in your search!!

Minds... not mind. But all minds co-manifesting are equally empty of inherent existence. That's dharmakaya. -
Time will show it's face! Oooh... ok.
-
Ok... I'll take it a little deeper. One doesn't fear death when one doesn't fear fear. When you don't fear fear... it becomes the opposite... Love, openess... non-contraction. Emptiness is fullness!
-
When you surrender to interconnectivity, that knows what you (limited identity) can't know... and since there are no limitations of identification? Then information manifests spontaneously in accord with the moment, without thinking of "I" or "mine".... I still don't know if you sneezed or not, I question all my psychic manifestations and doubt them all... but, I also doubt my doubts too. Like I said... I have yet to attain complete Buddhahood without doubt. From Michaelz... He's having puter problems...

I'm talking about being surrounded by black dudes with gat's on their waste line, surrounding you on the bottom of a stair well of some projects, you got a back pack full of vials and ounces of the highest grade pot from Humbolt county. You have a pocket full of over a grand in cash from a day's work. You have a bomb ass black girlfriend, you live in a dope as hotel in the middle of San Francisco. They see your light, and all they want is to suck it up, take it for themselves, your buggin out on Weed and Acid... crazy amounts, more than you even remember because it's like candy at this point. Whatever.... You look at them, you look at your fear, you see right through them... you see their projections. you feel the jealousy... then you feel the love, because all they want is love... oh yeah... that's right!! AH! YES... we fear love!! We fear vulnerability!! We fear honesty... we fear complete openness... oh yeah... that's right... holy schmit... it's sooo simple!! Then they let you go, because you've read all 10 of them, yes... 10 black cats from the gheeeto... desperate, but for one thing only... really... love, forgiveness... acceptance. You show them that... they can't help but give it right back to you. Really though. Bless ya! What's interesting is when a tall ass hard core cat looks at you.. small little me and shakes... feels his insecurities hit him for the very first time like this, ever. He knows that no matter how big he is... he can't take you, because you don't fear death... I mean really... don't fear death.

Oh, you poor victim of your own projection. I used to sell Rainbow Family Liquid vials, 100 hits, which I got for 25 bucks. Once you get through the realization that everything is just a bunch of colors and your own manifest projections. Even when people on the street are mirroring your greatest fears of death and worse... and you laugh in their faces saying... ha!! You are nothing but a collage of colors and they realize that you see right through them as a manifestation of one's own demonic projections... Every other mic. is just a test of how deep one can take the fact that everything is just color in particular forms. Heaven is seeing Ahhhh, Eh, Yam, Bam, Ram, Lam... in absolutely all aspects of experience. If you can see the simple in the complex you can see the complex in the simple. Boooo!

I do so agree. I've got 4 translations of the Bible. Which is interesting to see how different of a feeling one can get from each one. Quite so. -

Taking life seriously does not mean spending our whole lives meditating as if we were living in the Himalaya Mountains or in the old days in Tibet. In the modern world, we have to work to earn our living, but we should not get entangled in a nine-to-five existence, where we live without any view of the deeper meaning of life. Our task is to strike a balance, to find a middle way, to learn not to overextend ourselves with extraneous activities and preoccupations, but to simplify our lives more and more. The key to finding a happy balance in modern life is simplicity. - Sogyal Rinpoche In my opinion... seeing the complex in the simple is seeing the simple in the complex. -
