  1. Tradition and Lineages

You are putting perspectives into other peoples eyes that do not exist outside of assumption. "Vajraji et all." Seriously? We all think the same? We're all just ignorant sheep to you and your profound powers of individual thinking? Anyway... I know former disciples of Osho, and he was kicked out of the US for embezzlement. My opinion is based upon a number of sources that knew him. Also, when have I ever quoted Trungpa? Please... I'd like to know. I don't think every Vajrayana Buddhist is beyond criticism. None the less, Trungpa did lots of good!

It's interesting how people can contextualize a persons entire life through their subjective interpretation of some words on here. Another example of ignorant d.o. p.s. Also... when on here did I state that I was a Mahasiddha? You presume way too much, just stick to debating semantics. By the way... if d.o. is already empty and unborn to begin with, who is there to grasp and what is there to grasp at?

Would a great being come in here pigeon holing?
  4. Heartmind

Throw will away? How can it be thrown away? It can only be seen through, it's emptiness realized.

Why do you keep quoting fools?

In Buddhism, freedom from suffering means to never fall into ignorance again. If you take up a formless light as an eternal source of things, this will blissfully absorb you at the end of a cosmic aeon and re-express you as ignorant of the previous aeon of bliss. Thus you have not understood dependent origination, nor stopped suffering according to the Buddha view and there are many, many texts on this subject in the Vajrayana. No you don't because you don't understand the position as it's contextualized by the Buddha. Unqualifyable infinitude has no number and this is what that state of boundless conscious light is. It is merely one of the jhanas. You see, you have this idea about short and long, you are impatient. This ideation that you have about short and long reveal not only that you don't understand dependent origination, you don't understand emptiness. Otherwise you would realize that it took you a long time to get to whatever short amount of time it might take for you to realize the nature of yourself. Time is relative and we've all been cycling since beginningless time. So, of course it takes lifetimes to even enter into a human body, and much more to even enter into a spiritual path, and more to even enter a relationship with a great teacher or teaching that can influence you towards direct realization of the nature of things in one lifetime. So, to be so dogmatically opposed to long, versus short does not really reveal much realization of relativity to me. Your concepts of short versus long is also dualistic. You haven not come to the place of no more learning, thus, you are still on the path, be it short or long... it doesn't matter. Get some help. Or you can keep belittling us poor people as "long" path brain washed robots.

hmmm... interesting. I'll have to give it a deeper look see.

I don't know much about kunlun.

Yes, I'm not shocked or surprised... enjoyed... yes! I have journals and journals of such strange occurrences that are somewhat unexplainable in the normal sense of explanation. Oh blessed. So joyous! Mahro Pranams bro.. tearfully. Good stuff... good, good.

Oh yeah... I remember the "going nuts" reactions. I'd get that as well... both with people in person as well as online. I seem to remember something along the lines of that with you as well sometime ago? Thanks so much for sharing L7S. Good stuff, most definitely that type of stuff that transforms ones state of self reference forever!

Eh... d.o. is not merely words brother. Otherwise it wouldn't have been the Buddhas realization which happened after mastering the jhana of neither perception nor non-perception. This shows that d.o. is far from merely words, which is only the case in the beginning.

I went through this in 95-96 until about 98? In various fits and depths. Oh and again in 2000. I know exactly what you're talking about... sometimes it felt like everyone, everywhere was already fully enlightened and were all jokingly waiting for me to get it! I mean everywhere too... from Oakland to Kansas City, to the subways and streets of NYC. Very awesome. Someone said I was just living from the enlightened potential within everyone and everything without recognizing the reality of things as they, "are." At least during those times... like I said, there were depths and phases of intensity and strangenesses. During this time, I most definitely reified enlightened awareness as ultimate in and of itself without concept.. EDIT: I wrote tons of poetry at this time too.
  13. 'No self' my experience so far...

LOL! There's no beyond what is already beyond. As the Buddha said, "Dependent Origination is the all, and to see dependent origination is to see me." You are reifying some experience. Are you not?
  14. 'No self' my experience so far...

Which is an empty flow of beginningless d.o. Please... don't let your mind b.o. this.
  15. 'No self' my experience so far...

I'm sorry, but emptiness already transcends neither perception nor non-perception, both logically and intuitively. When I say "see's one's unborn nature, including all else".. it's merely a figure of speech... which should be quite obvious.
  16. Heartmind

Are you talking about, "will?" Will is just movement (d.o.) as sentience. You do with it as you are influenced, either towards bondage or liberation.
  17. 'No self' my experience so far...

Not entirely... only as it's utilized in logic and reason. Emptiness and Rigpa are not really the same, but not really different either. As Rigpa is basically the awareness of self emptiness directly.
  18. 'No self' my experience so far...

I just popped in for a second... I just want to say that unconditional love has no reference, but compassion always references the equal emptiness of all relativity; the people, places and things... Unconditional love is just that state of bliss that see's everything's unborn nature directly, including oneself.
  19. Heartmind

The intent is recognition of suffering. i.e. from the Buddha's perspective of seeing that seeking pleasure and avoiding pain is a cycle of suffering.
  20. Heartmind

The intent for self discovery from within instead of from without. The intent to know the nature of thought, feelings and cognition itself directly through the power of awareness.
  21. 'No self' my experience so far...

    Tashi delegs and gasho's!
  22. 'No self' my experience so far...

Well, when your awareness is free, your "will" stops referencing what it used to reference... so, your concept and experience of "will power" itself deepens as the depth of your direct realization of emptiness deepens as it's salve is applied to deeper aspects of ones consciousness.
