I felt quite zoned out and depressed while this was taking place. Other factors probably contributed but the difference was noticeable. It angers me that on a day when the natural cycles of the universe compel me to do things like relax, take a walk in nature or spend time with friends, I instead have to stick to the treadmill of homework, commuting through traffic and work. Blah.

It works to an extent but it's not some all encompassing force. Your own small ego is not the center of reality! It can't turn assholes around you into saints for instance, maybe just that they tend to ignore you more or aren't as pissy on certain days when you're nearby.

A British boy remembers his past life - Channel 5 reports..

Based on what I have seen and been told, reincarnation and karma tend to be more complex than popular Buddhist, Hindu and New Age notions. Sometimes only one aspect of a soul reincarnates, while other aspects are part of a collective which relates to a specific society/tribe/species/point of perception. -
Well, Shounen Jump came out this week. Not sure if it will next week though. I actually do hope they keep publishing it over there weekly, even in the midst of this disaster, along with other forms of entertainment. That kind of thing can give people hope and a means of destressing during a disaster.

Right now there are numerous articles and news casts in which specific faces and names of those affected in Japan are being openly displayed. Many opportunities there to zero in healing on specific people.

Wall Street Journal- Most published science studies found to be wrong
Enishi replied to Immortal4life's topic in General Discussion
Over time as countless peer reviewed research studies are done accurate truths and theories which "work" in terms of the present data tend to crystallize more. When stuff first comes out and gets reported in a sensationalized manner you will tend to see more errors however. -
Many of the games on the market now are far larger and more addictive than the ones which initially inspired me as a kid. As much as I love Fallout 3, I will readily admit that it is EXTREMELY ADDICTING. The design of the game compells you to want to see and do EVERYTHING, and doing everything will take hundreds upon hundreds of hours. With such a massive amount of content, trying to limit oneself to 7 or less hours a week is incredibly difficult. Now, one one hand that game did inspire me in its own way and caused me to ponder issues of peak oil and civilizational collapse. However, out of the hundreds of hours I spent on it, only maybe 10-20 of those hours could be said to have genuinely expanded my wisdom, as opposed to just wasting time. I've now taken up the habit of disconnecting my PS3 for weeks and storing it in inconvenient locations within the house to avoid going over my personally set limit of no more than 7 hours per week (less when busy with various projects). MMORPGs are reportedly even worse, which is why I avoid them like the plague.

Even with greater confidence improving things for myself, I do still notice that my introverted personality makes things difficult. This is frustrating for me as it feels like I have to reprogram a core aspect of "who I am" in this lifetime.

The best religion is the one that helps your wisdom and awareness expand relative to your current circumstances without hurting others or the environment.

My thoughts were much the same. Honestly speaking the more I read about stuff like this the more I wonder if spiritually conscious practitioners are more common percentage wise here in the West. Over here we have a number of economic problems that we need to get address, like eliminating the Federal Reserve, but I don't think we should necessarily emulate any Confucian work ethic either. It reminds me of back in 7th grade when they were telling us about how Japan is so much better than the US in terms of education and economic growth and how school is much longer over there. Nowadays however Japan is in a period an economic stagnation and decreasing population. Another thought which I did take away from that article however is that one area where the Chinese mother is better is in terms of consistency. The kids have to prove themselves, rather than her trying to prove herself to her kids and be their friend ala some Western parents.

The whole reptilian deal is more about one's aura/energy vibration than anything I think. "Seeing" a reptile is your mind's way of interpreting their aura. Several times when I've seen videos of members of the Rothschild family or other elites and tried to read them, I did indeed get the image/impression of a snake-like/cold being. Someone who has let their higher compassion and intuition atrophy would be operating more from the selfish impulses that are part of the "reptilian" brain from earlier phases of evolution. Some of the spirits and ETs which people interpret as reptilians likely have a similar vibration as well.

I grew up as a JW in a small town. Had it not been for Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and Xenogears I would likely have gone insane. Other video game stories like Silent Hill and Fallout have served as thought provoking excursions for me as well. I do agree that many games are ludicrously addicting though.

Great post Jeremy! I would add though that flirting doesn't have to equal manipulation or subtle mind games, it can just be playful teasing and sexual escalation.

I've noticed that as well. Pumping jing from the sex center/kidneys into the dan (also sending down fire and wind from above) helps too.

Living in a physical body in an environment of outer (although false) duality is a means to gain greater experience and wisdom, far more so than one would be able to get by remaining in a formless bliss state for eons.

The Yin Male and Women will be the rulers of the future
Enishi replied to bodyoflight's topic in General Discussion
Although a depressing subject to dwell on, I notice that the "there is someone for everyone" and "everyone has a soul mate" beliefs appear to influence peoples perceptions quite a bit in these threads. Let's consider that, in a given geographical locale, we have the following mathematical setup: 105 men to 100 women. 90% of men, through a combination of their own choices, willful emotional repression and conditioning by society and media, have some level of false yang, ranging from being workaholic dullards to outright assholes. 5% of men are more yin or balanced. 5% of men, due once again to a complex combination of their own choices, conditioning by other influences or sheer heartbreak, have very severe yang deficiency and are quite yin (but not in a good way) 80% of women, through a combination of their own internalized thoughts, habits, and conditioning by society are mostly attracted to the 90% of aforementioned male assholes. 5% of women are very strongly spiritual and balanced and are attracted to the 5% of balanced men. 15% of women are a bit better off than the aforementioned 80% but sort of on the fence. When push comes to shove, they would rather settle for one of the assholes than the 5% of men with severe yang deficiency. Some who have their own issues which might put off men (obesity) may not have any partners among the 90% demographic. They may settle for the 5% of those who are yang deficient, but it may not work out very well, and they may avoid such a choice altogether due to their own sense of personal dignity (totally understandable). Result: many women are with men they don't particularily like, while the 5% of yang deficient men go without any partners and thus their loneliness and other problems are worsened. Even many of the more balanced men may have a hard time finding someone due to there being more men than women. The above ratios are purely theoretical, obviously, but as can be seen when you have more men than women, along with skewed ratios for whom is interested in whom in this scenario, some people in a certain geographical locale MAY SIMPLY END UP ALONE. PC brow beating and pointing to your own success isn't going to help them. It's a plain mathematical fact. Keep in mind as well that in many areas of the first world countries, there are more men than women (in third world countries it is frequently the reverse). Obviously though, people can change over time, and looking for a partner in a locale with better ratios is a possibility as well. -
I received a Shaktipat from Phore several days ago and in my experience I can say that his skill with it is indeed genuine. The bliss was not quite as intense as it has been with several others who have sent me Shakti, but nevertheless I went into a deep state of stillness during the session. I could feel waves of energy hitting me and scooping out areas of tension and bad emotion lodged deep in my torso. At several points I started having kriyas and was bouncing up and down quite a bit. I laid down on my bed to avoid knocking things over and continued having yet more spontaneous movements, right up until the end when my body started going into several asana-like postures on its own. I had a deeper sense of peace the following day. I noticed that some of my compulsive habits had weakened and I felt far less irritated with people at work. Through my own third eye sensing I also caught glimpses of spiritual protection which had been placed around me. My dreams became more extensive and interesting. Great job Phore!

Shen alignment is a factor I have wondered about as well. There are general physical and personality aspects that I am attracted to but sometimes I'm surprised and feel drawn to those who don't fully fit those criteria. Someone showing open interest in me as opposed to playing bs hard to get games is nice as well.

I recently bought your book Thunder Wizard and I'm enjoying it immensely. Excellent work!!

On a purely theoretical level I think D.O. may be a more accurate description of reality than the assertion that the individual is just an illusion and only God/Oneness is real. With D.O., God/Oneness is an illusion as well and both the big and small illusions cocreate and holoraphically depend on one another. Thinking of it in that respect is beautiful to me. So, in that sense, I can see where the theoretical arguement of D.O. is good in terms of someone who mistakenly believes that a bliss state is "the final destination". However, I have yet to be convinced that an intellectual understanding of D.O. is a sign whether someone is enlightened. I'm also not convinced that there weren't fully enlightened individuals in shamanic tribal cultures who had a complete system of spiritual practice and had no need to wait for Buddha and Tibetan lamaism to show up and "save" everyone.

Spirituality + badass warrior needs to be combined to increase one's appeal. It's one thing I wish to work on.

I think one sad factor which comes into play here in the West is that many men have been indoctrinated to despise their own gender and cultural legacy, thus resulting in massive internalized emasculation. 'Traditional' Christian men aren't free of this either. Some of the biggest manginas I've ever meet have been Christian dimwits who put women on pedestals and try to be Mr.White Knight.

Peak Oil and the end of civilization as we know it.
Enishi replied to strawdog65's topic in General Discussion
I think some form of die-off and economic chaos in regards to peak oil is a very real possibility at this point. It doesn't mean civilization will end though, a crises can spur new technological developments faster than one can imagine. -
In addition to some of the other factors mentioned, I have my own personal "pet theory" on rooting. When you push against someone using regular leverage and muscular strength, your nervous system will constantly switch muscle fibers on and off to avoid tears (thus tense muscles shake, and the force is not fully continuous). With someone who is skilled at rooting, perhaps their connective tissues and stabilizer muscles transfer the force from the push down to the feet and back up in a continuous, wave like manner which is superior to that of tensed, trembling muscles which lack true continuous force. Such a skill could then even be applied in positions which don't look mechanically efficient at first glance. I'm not sure though how this would apply to fajing in terms of issuing force when there is no initial push to redirect.
