I noticed something similar as well, streamers of light going through the room, connecting to the people and the outside. To me there was also a sense of an altered space folded within the locale. On the third day I had one of the strongest experinces yet at a workshop, I felt as if my body and soul were bursting at the seams with energy, with my awareness expanding out in several directions. Whenever I got too lost in the experience I focused back on my Dan, but that altered state lingered for quite awhile.

Using energy to effect things instead of words
Enishi replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
It would be for my novel. Oftentimes the best scenes are created when you just let it 'flow' without thinking/worrying about whether it sounds right. Usually I slip into a spontaneous state without realizing it, but I want to investigate it more now with Stillness Movement. -

Hmm interesting, I'm going to try the same with my writing. -
Sounds like a good idea, I'll be arriving in a cab around 530 or so. I'll wait around the lobby area to see if I see you or anyone else. I do want to practice out on the beach at night as well.

I just checked with the Yellow Cab service that operates on the island. For those who are arriving at the small airport nine miles from the Beach Resort, the cab service is $20-28.

Why are there fewer women than men in search of Enlightenment and Freedom from Samsara?
Enishi replied to SunLover's topic in General Discussion
At Yoga courses and a Tibetan Buddhist center there were more women than men. When it comes to alchemy courses/workshops however, I do notice more men than women. -
I'll be arriving a bit after 5pm, maybe we can hang.

Hungry Ghosts yes, but there are others that are consciously, intentionally malicious (though few in number compared to the former).

I have a pdf version of Destiny of Souls. Reading parts of it here and there puts me in a very good mood. The only thing I don't like about it is the author rationalizing away experiences some have had with negative spirits, they're not all just 'lost souls', some are deliberately malicious and negative. Other than that though, it's sheer gold.

I do notice a difference when practicing outside on the ground, or on hardwood and concrete floors, as opposed to synthetic carpet. It's the quality of the practice method itself that matters most though, along with how calm you are that day, I've had occasional very long, very deep meditations when sitting on carpet on the second story of a building, and absolutely horrible, frustrating sessions when sitting on the ground. One personal method I employ to enhance a session is to clear the energies of the surrounding space by burning some Sage and combining it with my Intent. It was absolutely necessary when my gf moved into her new apartment one year ago, the atmosphere there was quite negative at first and I wouldn't have gotten any good sessions in when visiting otherwise.

Another method of defending against entities is to enter a higher level of awareness and place said awareness within an afflicted space, or even within the entity itself. Negative energy is born of separation and fear, and it cannot be maintained within a field of higher awareness that breaks through false identities and boundaries.

'Alien Abduction' Research Suggests Episodes Are Actually Lucid Dreams!
Enishi replied to DalTheJigsaw123's topic in General Discussion
Mind to mind interaction is so common for them that they don't even think of it as being a separate, hidden category of life, it is to them what internet and phone communications are to us. I also got the sense of many of them having less dense bodies. To an extent I can discern the differences between various groups. When extending my awareness outside the solar system, I notice there are large networks there who seem to be performing political monitoring functions. Their overall presence does indeed have more of a feminine feel in contrast to humans. One group was tall and thin with a bluish tone to their skin and were intensely compassionate. In general they are all quite peaceful, though some do have manipulative and passive-aggressive traits. In that sense social and technical evolution is not the same individual spiritual advancement. I will post more later. -
'Alien Abduction' Research Suggests Episodes Are Actually Lucid Dreams!
Enishi replied to DalTheJigsaw123's topic in General Discussion
With some of the ets I've communicated with, the sense of a vastly expanded intellect tuned to a wider perspective was very much in evidence. Mind to mind communication with them has a multi-dimensional aspect to it, it's not just two-way audio like telepathy is sometimes imagined to be, there are multiple 3D (or more than 3D) spatial sets of information coming in at once. I actually asked one about their views on TCM and the like. It indicated while such a system might be useful they really don't percieve the subtle dimensions of the body in the same way. I got an image of body with the traditional meridian lines, and then the meridians expanded out into intersecting regions of spacial vibration, with the meeting points between the separate spaces producing the meridian "lines". -
Trying to find out who these gods are...
Enishi replied to The Observer's topic in Daoist Discussion
This caught my eye, I've been exploring the same thing via the book 'Practice of Magical Evocation'. There are definitely powerful spirits associated with the planets and constellations. I do wonder though how much of that is the planets themselves or the vibration of the planets, which extends into non-locality. In that sense, there would be many celestial bodies throughout the universe that have a vibration similar to our moon and thus possibly the same, or similar spirits (oftentimes a combinaton of both for beings with a very refined, expansive awareness). -
Can anyone make a non-believer here feel their chi?
Enishi replied to AstralProjectee's topic in General Discussion
Its depends on both the skill and power of the practitioner and the level of openess and sensitivity of the recipient. Even those with a strong belief in qi don't always feel it. A more interesting test would be to utilize machines that measure nerve activity or other biological responses. Even if a person can't directly feel qi, using it on them can still have an affect. -
It's a lot easier if you're with a partner who is energetically sensitive and can help set up a qi exchange with you.

Not sure if it has anything to do with Yuen Method, but while it is a controversial subject, sending healing to someone even without verbal consent can be done if consent is recieved from their higherself (along with what Franz Bardon calls Divine Providence). In the case of world leaders who will ignore both verbal arguments and "positive" energy, I agree that such stealth corrections may be needed. It has to be done VERY carefully however, one has to make sure they're listening to a higher calling and not their own assumptions. If their higherself does not give consent, and you try to force it anyway, it can backfire...

Excess yang also the topic of reacting to emotional violence from women and social conditioning
Enishi replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
Resorting to physical violence to counter emotional/verbal violence is generally a bad idea. It's particularily true in the case of a woman as there always's a chance she could be pregnant (there's also the size and strength difference, although that is NOT always the case). In the case of the perpetrator utilizing physical violence, I believe one has a right to defend themselves, although defenses that rely on redirecting force rather than "eye for an eye" style responses are better. Avoiding physical violence does not mean however that one has to sit there and take someone's emotional abuse like some sort of saintly White Knight. For instance, some 6-7% of women in America have Borderline Personality Disorder (possibly even more), and simply listening to their emotional abuse is not going to make it go away, if anything, it will enable it. Stand your ground, be honest about how their words are hurting you, and if they don't listen, get away from them! -
I'll readily admit that I probably know very little about this, but the impression I have thus far is that a system like Mo Pai aims to build a field of very dense qi with a vibration close to the physical right from the beginning (whereas Stillness-Movement utilizes higher level energy from the getgo), refining from lower to higher. Such a system has more immediate martial applications and aims, and the dense level of energy built up explains the greater emphasis on celibacy. Plenty of other good systems are more readily available. There's Stillness-Movement, Wang Liping, KAP, Jenny Lamp, and Fire Serpent Tantra (which I got a lot of benefit out of, despite not fully completing it). Also, if one wants more physical confirmation (which appears to be part of Mo Pai's major draw for people), it seems to me that it's far easier to develop skills like remote sensing or manipulating someone's energy field (with their consent!), as opposed to burning newspapers. For a personal sensing exercise, go on google maps, use the regular map function, "zone in" your awareness on a location, then switch to satellite to check what you see, or even drive there, distance permitting.

Alcohol use widening the gap between openness and closedness?
Enishi replied to Owledge's topic in General Discussion
Alcohol is indeed useful for relaxing in social situations like a large, dark, loud club that can be inherently intimidating. It does quickly become a crutch however. I've also noticed that for many, they literally don't know how to have fun unless alcohol is involved. For them, "going out" and "having a life" automatically entails going to clubs/bars/parties where alcohol is served. Over time I've tried to get myself used to having maybe just one beer (saves money as well), along with doing various qi exercises to relax and connect in a more natural manner. -
With people like Icke, I believe that at times they do discover a piece of the puzzle, but they "fill in the blanks" as it were and exaggerate or assume to much in regards to other aspects of the puzzle they aren't so sure about.
