Agree with Ya Mu. Cultivate to develope strong Wei Chi for protection and just being in your field will be helpful to patients and help you avoid burn-out. Dramatic movements in that environment are not always appreciated. Go into the ICU and tell your patients you will do eight piece brocade before attending to them and see how long you can keep your job (not typically appreciated). When I moved to California, I naively thought "this is great, everyone here is open-minded, and I can practice wherever I want". First day, at lunch, I did some bone-shaking on a beautiful walk on a trail. Within 5 minutes 4 police showed up and told me to get on the ground. Apparently someone from the golf course called them and thought I was "taking a piss". I found this amusing and quite a severe reaction for alleged piss-taking, but the person that called would not make an identification and I was let go. So yes, still not accepted in the "mainstream". Have very small secondhand info. on JAJ, but must go. Will share later.

There is no problem. Only thinking there is... Post #70 is spot on, MR. 3Bob. Thank-you for that.

Hmm...I was going to share some recent experiences with KAP and reverse telepathy, but got a metaphorical slap on the wrist and was told to "behave". Perhaps one of my inner guides is gay (not that there is anything wrong with that) Anyways, Motoyama has very gentle yet intense energy. His translators don't always grasp what he is saying though (in the proper context). That's only if you see him in person. His books are good though, and being in his energy field is pleasant. Oh, Sloppy Zhang, Clean your childhood house. For you, that would be very beneficial (IMO). Have a great day everyone.

Ahhh..."Last-word-itis"...Hmmm, severe case.

Oh, don't worry about starting a thread about corruption of medicine...it already is. But remember the first three words describing corruption are "the act of changing"...But let's change topics anyways. Shakti barfs, Shakti shivers, Shakti shits...detox can be intense, but remember to look what is left in place afterwards. That is your gift.

Ah...integration, a true blessing of life. Welcome back Susan and Santi. Couple things to put this page in perspective. IME, as a consultant and conductor (not the word they use, but I like it )for various peer-reviewed double-blinded placebo controlled studies, they ALL contain bias. Everyone single one I have ever seen or been involved in has exhibited some degree of subconscious bias, energetic, unknown factors, morphogenic field, etc. So awareness is valid and luminous. Also, electricity from a wall as a conduit for healing does not strike me as unreasonable. Everyday, lasers (Fraxel, Thermage,Vbeam, Light Sheer Diode, etc) are plugged into walls and sensations such as "I felt like I was being hit by bacon grease", and "little tiny fire daggers repeatedly stabbing me" are experienced. Of course, the companies claim it feels like "a rubber band snapping". But results are obtained and people come back for more. And this is just for aesthetics. No deep energetic healing here. Funny thing though...it's not the lasers that have caused the most dramatic negative effects in skilled hands...it's the numbing cream. Apply BLT mixture over large surface areas such as a petite woman's lower extemeties and death may result (from systemic absorption). Thankfully have never seen that with my own eyes, but it is discussed in the literature and has happened. So just putting things in perspective...

It's legit...but the challenge is the transformation. Good Luck.

Well...life is full of individual experience (and collective experience as well). So if someone on this forum was, say, rather small and of a certain genetic background, lacking the liver enzymes to process the alcohol (aldhehydedehydrogenase, cytochrome P 450); spirits in even minute doses would be toxic. However, someone else here may be male 200 lbs low body fat, high tolerance etc. and then even two 3 oz. glasses would not effect their cognitive function. Of course, there are other factors as well, but I'm boring myself with this post...

Oh, BTW - Drew, About a decade ago I did a bit of training in Qinway Qigong. We would do modified Bigu on an apple a day and Yin-Yang Tea. I only lasted about a month at the time due to intense work schedule (seeing 50 patients a day), but some fellow students lasted 6 months plus. I have never recommended that course to anyone, but you would find immense value in it.

Qigong is a poor 5 alpha reductase inhibitor for most. Certainly less than, say, green tea. And, of course less than finasteride, which is not as effective as dutasteride. Also, to my knowledge, SFQ does not involve any hair qigong methods of cultivation (which do exist). But this isn't really what you are interested in Biff. Is it? You are a very sensible person. I respect that. Just remember, love-intelligence has a different dimension of knowing (far richer). Logic remains on the surface, intuition penetrates to the core. Sound familiar?

...and yet you're still here, and Pak is still here and we are all having this conversation together...gratitute for experience, skill, and patience. PS. Of course, this is a "do not try at home", type of healing

Thanks for update Santi. Keep us posted. I tuned in today and my cell phone went out 5 times, but computer is fine. Then garage door opens when I stand near it (that's a new one for me). Intense energy. We have to get him out to LA for a visit!

Knowledgeable mind is very cunning...it goes on making excuses to remain the same. Observe what happens next Markern.

Ah, I see Soaring Crane supports my theory in full. Clothes='s manufactured by man ='s bad for chi cultivation

Well...the problem with outdoors is...it's hard to practice naked. So I vote indoors, or outdoors in seclusion, or late at night.

GIH, You were doing so good...but then...liver stagnation....2nd chakra blockage...eye strain...all back. Stay calm....relax...addictions are tricky. Good luck to you.
-
GIH, It seems a subtle shift has occured, making you more open to dialog/discussion, and I wanted to commend you for that. You have always been intellectually insightful, but something has shifted in your body (IMO). Anyways, thanks.

Hmm...poop therapy. Well Valentine Greatrakes healed blind people by spitting in their eyes, so maybe yr on to something. Besides, getting crapped on can teach you about many things, including how you got there in the first place.

Completely forgot I had the first two tapes (old school VHS). The standing form definitely balances energy well and to say the seated forms open the neck is an understatement. Thanks for the reminder.

Ladies Only--Witch's lefthand path for kundalini
Kameel replied to witch's topic in General Discussion
I'm sure you will get some willing participants. Make sure the first one has experience with energy sensing (especially at a distance). I was feeling so good about my abilities lately, that I told my wife, at 1 oclock today, tune in and see if you feel something. Well, she did, she felt like she was going to have a heart attack. Ooops...back to the drawing board. -
Congratulations on your results. Hopefully one day Jeff will be willing to share where he got these powerful teachings. Intentions are important. But seems like the practice is working for you, so keep up the good work.

Back from meditation. Enlightenment ='s eternal flow of existence.

Agree with Ya Mu...off to meditate.

Do you believe that you can learn from the body?
Kameel replied to Old Man Contradiction's topic in General Discussion
Yes, the body teaches you inner knowing- true intuition. Clarity, understanding. Its all connected. The body is your subconscious, the trick is merging the body with your awareness. -
I wanted to share a personal experience with KAP. I took the KAP 1 and 2 with Santi in LA. We did 22 hours of meditation in 2 days. Good times. I practice everyday. Anyways, I was dealing with a personal life challenge at the time, that I was having trouble resolving. I am non-confrontational by nature and this challenge took more assertiveness than I had at the time. So after class, I sat down to write a letter that needed to be addressed (sorry so vague-the personal details wouldn't be beneficial), and then it happened. Glenn took over. He wrote the entire letter- his diction, ideas, what needed to be done, everything. I know how this sounds, but it's what happened. Completely resolved the problem. Of course, I had to take responsibility for my part in the problem and process all the residual, and if you wish you can view this as a story, but this was life-changing for me (because of the circumstances). Thanks to Glenn, Susan, Santi, and tribe for all you have contributed and keep it up! Oh I forgot, and thanks to the Tao bums/bummers for teaching me in other ways.
