The article from your link is not only poorly written, but very biased as well. A good friend of mine knows Linda Lee, and his friend's uncle used to train with Bruce. So, Ive heard lots of stories, most of which I'm sure are exaggerated at least a little. From what I've heard, Bruce was definately a cocky S.O.B., and could have used a good ass kicking. But, I'm not so sure Sifu Wang did Bruce the favor. He can say anything he wants to now. I'm not trying to defend Bruce because I don't really care either way. I'm not a huge fan, but some of his movies are pretty good. To say he didn't prove his abilities might be a stretch too. From what I heard, he was often challenged by the extras on the movie sets. And there's the rooftop fighting in Hong Kong.

Which one was that?

Mysteries of the Life Force - My apprenticeship with a chi kung expert by Peter Meech Anybody read this? Kinda interesting. A college student in Toronto see's Dr. Chow on Ripley's believe it or not, and was so impressed by what he saw that he decides to interview him for an article but Dr. Chow won't see him until he becomes a patient. They become friends and Dr. Chow teaches Peter some basic chi kung standing forms. Most of the time, however, it is Dr. Chow transmitting chi to Peter, in the formal practice time, at a distance, and while Peter was sleeping from Dr. Chow's astral body. Other patients and students of Dr. Chow are also part of the storyline, as well as a little fortune telling and telepathy. For people who enjoy reading, this is a well written and entertaining light read. Not much in the way of theory or instruction, but good nonetheless.

What Chris has said today makes sense to me. I guess I just don't understand why there is so much controversy about Max and Kunlun. My experience with Kunlun is similar to Craig's. Three days after receiving the transmission from Max, and calling on the Kunlun Master's for guidance in my practice, I had a very beautiful and gentle, but powerful experience that was enough confirmation for me to believe that there is more going on here than a simple spontaneous qigong practice. -------------------------------------------- "The traditions of the past are very great in their own place, in the past, but I do not see why we should merely repeat them and not go farther. In the spiritual development of the consciousness upon earth the great past ought to be followed by a greater future." Sri Aurobindo

Good call Sean. WYG was on his hands and knees begging to be suspended. He seems to have some kind of obsession with Max and Kunlun. And the non stop questions! Not to mention a repeat offender for the same behavior.

I posted that link last year. Nobody knew anything about it and nobody seemed interested. I would like to know more about it too, just out of curiosity.

Vajrasattva & Mikaelz, You are both class acts. V-I'm sure your "students" are very proud to have a smart mouthed teacher like you, and, no doubt, Glenn Morris would be very proud of the way you conduct yourself here on the forum. The rest of us are just babbling fucking morons who have fallen for a bullshitting teacher because he has a cool name, and cool tibetan robes! And that goes for the thousands of people on three continents who've also met him. And to think all the time and money we've wasted with his practices when all we had to do is ask you guys! I could kick my self! I guess those of us who've had spiritual practices longer than you two guys have been on this planet have a lot to learn from you great Masters. You guys obviously have received the REAL teachings. After all, you have written an in-depth expose detailing the Secrets The Gurus Will Never Show You. I guess your marketing hype is more legit because you have the real, ultimate, true teachings, and other teachers are just liars trying to make money. How could we all be so naive? Thank God you guys came along to share your incredible wisdom with us! The truth and wisdom in your posts only leaves me wanting more! Thanks!

I've studied basic and advanced pranic healing and didn't find it easy at all. There's way too much information to remember and the protocols are often long, and unnecessarily complicated, imo. Too many contraindications as well. I guess it depends on what you are comparing it to. Pranic healing is good, and is a very interesting study.

I use a method called the Domancic Method. There is a great documentary film on my website ( see link below), or go to Healing Bioenergy to learn more about the method. It's the best healing method I've come across in 25 years of searching. I've been fascinated with distance healing for a long time. Most of the internet research I've done suggests imagining the person in front of you. or using a surrogate, like a doll or stuffed animal. It is also the way I was taught during the Domancic training. I once had a healing from a psychic healer named Ron Wilding. He's very good. You can read about his method at Ron Wilding. There's also; Quantum Touch Pranic healing Levashov method Dr. Sha Aetherius Society Just to name a few.

I do a lot of distance healing work. Are you looking for a method to do the healing, or do you already have a method and would like to know how to use it for distance healing also? If you're using SFQ level II, simply imagine the person in front of you. It may be helpful to connect with them before you start thru visualization, mentally talking to them, repeating their name, etc.. Whatever works for you. Keep it simple. Be relaxed, confident, and unattached to the person, the illness, and the outcome. It's easier to do distance healing on someone you already know,( friends, family), or someone you have worked on, in-person, at least once.

Sri Aurobindo calls his method of yoga, Integral Yoga. (also called purna/poorna yoga). And from what I've read, Ken Wilber borrows heavily from Sri Aurobindo's work, but has been criticed for misinterpreting it. Apparently, Ken refers to SA quite a bit in some of his books.

Hey Hundun, Welcome back. I kinda dropped out myself. Got too annoyed by a few of the posters here. I've never read Ken's material, but I study the work of Sri Aurobindo, the Guru's Guru, as Sai Baba put it. The Synthesis Of Yoga (my favorite) and The Life Divine are two books that every person on a spiritual path should read/study. Check out the reviews at Amazon. I hope your teaching and healing practice is going well. Gordon (Novato)

I'm not sure anyone knows exactly how it works, but intention plays a key role in distance healing. I've been trained as a bioenergy therapist in the Domancic Method which includes distance healing. During the training, the participants worked on each other, in person, and then we seperated so that we couldn't see each other, and performed psychokinesis on the person, simply by visualizing them and pushing or pulling their energy field. I was able to move someone forward and backward by using my eyes only, and visualization. It wasn't like the person was knocked over on their ass or anything. Just moving them off balance or they would lean forward or backward. I recently worked on an 8 month old boy in Mexico who had been very sick since birth. His parents took him to the emergency room due to a severe lung infection. I did three treatments for him and his condition went away and he was sent home, with a clean bill of health and no medication. His parents were pleasantly surprised at his quick recovery and said it's as if he had never been sick. And, he had been very underweight, but his parents told me the other day that he is now chubby! So, what went on here? I don't know. I tried to give credit to the doctors but the parents said he hadn't improved under the doctors care until I started treating him. The documentary about the great healer Zdenko Domancic has a segment about distance healing. If interested, just do a search on google video for -Think about it bioenergy and go to 29:08 for the entire segment, or 32:42 for the more "scientific" explanation of how/why distance healing works.
