Something to Ponder Watch your thoughts, they become your words. Watch your words, they become your actions. Watch your actions, they become your habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23.7

I'm finding this to be true in my energy healing practice. I can almost tell just by looking at their bodies. There seems to be a sort of thickness to them, almost like armor. One client, who didn't benefit much from the treatment, told me she's had no luck with energetic based treatments and thought maybe it is because she is an earth sign. She had that "armor" type body too. I worked around her C7 area and it was like she had a 1/2 inch of "padding" over it.

My first thought was zhan zhuang, but I have to agree with Trunk. Following the breath has life changing potential.

I've listened to several of these interviews. It's such a great idea and there have been many excellent guests. But,...It's painful to listen to because Lama T is such a poor interviewer.

I've wondered why SFQ hasn't included standing forms too. Maybe because the drop out rate would be too high.

Hopefully it will be soon. Redwing Books has been taking pre-orders for many months.

That story is almost exactly the same as Leo Tolstoy's story called "The Three Hermits". A favorite of mine I read about 25 years ago.

Let us know how the training goes. I've been interested in this for a while. There's a man in my area who uses it for healing people.

Where should a beginner to Tao start? Tai Chi or Qi Gong?

Learn qigong first. Tai Chi is a more advanced form of qigong and has a huge drop out rate. -
Douglas james Cottrell is a modern day Edgar Cayce. The first video is about ling kong jing. The second is about the iron body. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSp7eWBvpPE...feature=related

I'll fifth that. All of this talk seems to be about bizarro world Max. Not the humble, friendly Max I met. And I agree Maeven needs to present some specifics. Otherwise, he just sounds like a shit starter. All of this drama is so ridiculous. Max doesn't deserve any of this shit. I'm happy for him to have stopped public teaching. A few lame students ruined it for the rest of us.

I was just reading about this the other day. They talked about it on Coast To Coast. I found this to be interesting; - "Now scientists have taken GDV photographs of a person as he was dying. In the photos, it could be seen that the area of the belly lost its life force (the purported soul) first, followed by the head. The heart and groin were the last to lose their life force, in that order."

Sounds like you're having fun with it. Is it sexual energy or epididymitis?
