Actually found another great one but it has a sense of motion, desighed for remote viewing or dreaming. But again you can turn volume off and add a chanting or whatever file.Full screen. http://www.louisyagera.com/2009/01/13/cloudscapes/

How do you mean? You can add chanting and just enjoy the visual landscape.I truly believe virtual audio[holophonics] or virtual tech. like in Final Destination or 3d movies can offer many benefits for mental programming/learning. Check out my post on virtual baber shop-you'll be amazed!

Thanks! I've encountered a similar chart in martial arts articles. What about the question I posed to you in the other thread:Will taking tribulus/dhea which can cause an increase in testosterone help with yang chi in the winter? Neigung in general generates strong emotion almost correlated with testosterone like feelings.Hence, the saying ''energy work can be hell!''

Here are some segments from swami Rama on the yoga sutras. He is the yogi from the pdf file who performed many feats under lab. conditions. He comments on sitting still for four hours and thirty six minutes as a beginning just like Wang Liping. He comments on the full lotus position[Drew] and how the energy field extends through the body.In Swami, by Doug Boyd he used what he called the electricity[chi] the energy of the body to break a[part] metal ruler without touching it.He comments on the limitations of zen training.Given our recent outburst over chinese/white/western/other groups I think it behooves us all to recall the original Buddha was Indian and Damo was from India. You can get them all on you-tube, I really like his style of teaching/lecturing.I don't agree with everthing he says though but still a person of accomplishment! I wonder what Santiago or Ya mu think of it. http://sadhanamandir.org/BFB2.pdf

Hi everyone, Here are 7 free mp3's of an NLP seminar, recorded by Tad James and distributed with his permission of course. He's into qi-gung and huna but known as a world class NLP trainer, the inventor of time-line therapy. http://rapidshare.com/users/PD89SN

You mentioned heat! I've always wondered if dhea or tribulus products [typically used by bodybuilders] which increase sexual energy and heat would also increase yang energy, especially in the winter.Gary Clyman advocates condensation breathing next to a heater,he also suggests for those with self control, watching errotic videos when doing cond./breathing.I should add he calls masturbation energy suicide! -

A lot of people dismiss hypnosis according to many medical doctors precisely because it isn't physical. These individuals were in command of their faculties and instructed to play act in addition to the hypnosis. So the vaunted placebo,i.e. expectation factor is at work with these individuals,as opposed to a group of mentally ill patients who can't discern reality.Acceptence[via trance] and expectation are crucial factors for making hypnosis work.In fact, until recently some scientists[even now] denied that hypnosis is real.In truth, some elements that make qi-gung work also work for hypnosis.Hypnosis is all about contacting the subconcious mind and directing the nervous system or so-called involuntary systems.Which, western scientists also declared impossible for decades. These feats were also considered impossible or hard to accept. http://sadhanamandir.org/BFB2.pdf

Fascinating the similarities between the chinese and indian systems, this guy also walked about barefoot.Claiming some sort of energetic empowerment from the earth. An Indian saint named Devraha Baba, who passed away in 1989, was a yogi who lived just such a lifestyle. Devraha Baba was from the spiritual heritage of the Avatar Ramanandacharya, and lived beside the Yamuna river in Mathura. He lived on a 12-foot-high wooden platform where he usually remained stark naked. He never ate food. He only drank water from the Yamuna river. He claimed he could be in two places simultaneously (a siddhi described in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras). He was observed to have stayed underwater unaided for half an hour. He always radiated love. He was a Premaswarupa, an incarnation of love. He gave darshan (spiritual blessing) to devotees who came to pay homage. Many came to visit this great illustrious saint. People came from all over India and from all walks of life. He was a favorite among India's senior politicians, and was visited by Mrs. Indira and Mr. Rajiv Gandhi. Ministers, saints, yogis, priests, rich and poor all came for Baba's darshan. It was rumored that Devraha Baba claimed that he had lived for over 700 years. Until I can substantiate this rumor I need to consider it just a rumor. Nevertheless, I make mention of this rumor because Devraha Baba's family tree records place his age to be at least 250 years when he took mahasamadhi (relinquished his body) in 1989. If he was able to live to be 250, then it is possible that he lived for 700 years as well. Baba was called, "The Ageless Yogi." Devraha Baba gained mastery over the khecheri state of yoga whereby he was able to control his hunger and the time of his death. Dr. Rajendra Prashad, who was the first president of India, verified Devraha Baba's old age. He said that he personally attests to Devraha Baba being at least 150 years old. He said that when he was 73 years old, his father took him to see Baba, who was a very old man, and that his father already had known Baba for many years before that. An Allahabad High Court Barrister had stated that seven generations of his family had sat at the feet of Devraha Baba. Incidentally, Devraha Baba had predicted the time of his death five years in advance You can find rare live footage of him on youtube-in russian.

This is a touchy subject! There is a saying with history majors:Becareful when you hear voices from the past...time can make you a liar!'' I guess that means conditions change and that reality is fluid. The deaths will never be repaid because there is no absolute justice in this world only relative justice.Yet some of my vietnamese friends have a certain opinion on the chinese. Are the elders right for not sharing their secrets? Maybe.Consider the United States won't share her most secret technologies with other nation states. Those so-called u.f.o.s...well that just our anti-grav technology most likely. Of course,in present time and space it is possible for a Japanese American,Chinese American or Arab American to become President of the United States-at least in theory.I won't ask if the reverse is true.Other groups come to America[and other western nations] for study,to learn our techniques of study and power.Usually not to learn our way of life or cultural mores.Maybe that is changing as vortex said...I don't know. One wonders how effective a chi-blast is against modern weaponry...still maybe just as America won't share her innermost technology, maybe the elders are right for doing the same.It just seems as Muhammed of Arabia said two months before he died:''There is no superiority of the Arab over the non- arab,of the dark over the light, but the superior man is the one who excels in righteous works!''

I just read most of it and it is a very informative read.Nothing that we haven't discussed on the tabums before though. He does mention it is possible to reverse the aging process not just maintain where you are.He advocates sensory deprivation tanks for meditation and meditating in a dark room.He advocates sealing the senses...he doean't call it that, but you can tell it's taken from a form of yoga where they cover the mouth, nose, ears, ectera, to shut out external distractions. He advocates certain herbs for ching/jing maintenence. He advoctes intense cardio for sweating out the toxins. This is a trick also used in holywood, the slimmer a person is the younger he looks[within reason-not talking about marathon runners]he mentions face qi-gung? I know about face yoga for toning facial muscles. He mentions full lotus is not necessary-sorry Drew! He advocates fasting, fruit for two days and another, water fast for two days.On a[each of them] monthly basis, although he kinda contradicts himself by saying ''in the spring and fall months'' How then can it be monthly? Interestingly enough he mentions a hypnosis study I planned on posting from Proff. Langer where participants had been hypnotized into thinking they were younger and bio.markers followed suit.He does this to bolster the implication of yi in guiding chi. Oh! I should add he thinks it it's veryhard to discern changes while you are still young because the changes will be smaller as opposed to the elderly.I kinnda agree...I mean Halle Berry is forty something, I would be very impressed if he was fifty-four and looked like that! I mean this guy is forty something here Fortyeight- here- Fifty something here! Practices tai-chi and qi-gung!

This is why it is simultaneously super important and kinda silly to practice/learn as many esoteric skill [qi-gung,kriya yoga]sets as possible.Imagine what a dictator can do with this technology.Maybe...just maybe only true, authentic, metaphysical teachings can counter the advent of this brave new world. http://www.newsweek.com/id/91688

Here are some segments on two products that can affect your development as taoists seeking longevity. The first product I've tried and was suitably impressed by it.We should compile a list of novel measures for life extension.Everything fom the Bob Beck protocols to the Five-Tibetans Rites. The first product really causes your skin to shine.Check out those ninty year olds! HGH-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmFsoBKzxl8

Has anyone tried this in mega doses? http://www.nytimes.com/2006/11/16/science/...amp;oref=slogin

You said it's awesome...what are some of the effects you've experienced or read about.Thank you.
-
hahahahaha!!!!! But man! Did you see the physique on that 67 year old?!
-
Well taoists changes are coming! http://www.wired.com/medtech/genetics/news...enetic_cosmetic Makes you wonder if our self involved methods like qi-gung are still worthwhile? Of course they are! Yet it reminds me of a friend's comment at the gym''Until you see everyone with washboard abs...they mean something!'' This was on the subject of a six pack being overrated.

border line JEDI - I think that's what most people want who study martial arts and mo pai! By the way, I saw Return of the Jedi last week again and the way Luke moves and uses his power at the beginning against Jabba! Man!People want that external element...neglecting[which is wrong] healing. Also if Damo was level 72 and John Chang is only 21-25 can you imagine how awesome Damo must have been!? Check this out! http://sadhanamandir.org/BFB2.pdf

The goal is really to learn to be a better Human & healer & martial artist. I think most enlighten individuals would say healing is more important than jumping over a house. However, if you ask a group of scientists...they just won't accept it without external hardcore evidence. That's the real reason[we're educated not to accept] so many people are fascinated with John Chang and Mo pai. It's just a lot of the other masters are hidden or at least the ones with the ability to manipulate matter at that level.Even some mo pai students say certain tibetan masters are more powerful than pak John. The technique of drawing energy from a battery or socket was also written about in some old posts by Sean Denty too.Interesting. Be well.

A excerpt from beyond biofeedback-notice the insights Swami gives about the subtle body and the unconscious mind.Creating growths, then dissolving them. Also notice how he calls the left side negative when moving the object.More insights can be gleaned from a book by Doug Bouyd called Swami. http://sadhanamandir.org/BFB2.pdf Here's one that's nice Notice how much she use the word believe or signals or factors. She tells a interesting story of an old mouse and young mouse being united and the old mouse healing faster.Similar to chi transfers among healers and sick.Best part starts around 18 minutes in. Bruce Lipton-biology of belief
