  1. What are you listening to?

It sounded like an earlier one to me only because it doesn't have auto-tune applied and I notice the mistakes Dylan made-- a voice crack here and there. But I'm not sure, you may be right there. Oh man, I love Leonard Cohen. Hallelujah is my favorite of his.
  2. The Strangest Secret - Earl Nightingale

Cool-- and it is true, you can't argue with promoting self-improvement and attempting the ultimate positive expressions of the human mind-body-spirit.
  3. What are you listening to?

Gonna check them out now, MH. This is cliche and everyone's heard it, but I like the sound of this version.
  4. The Strangest Secret - Earl Nightingale

No offense meant to you or any members of certain secret societies, but people should be aware this guy is using a lot of Freemasonry jargon. Especially the bit about the "Architect of the Universe" at the end. They do good works, yes, charitable donations, but they believe in an odd balance of good/evil, and more elite circles use strange justifications for questionable motives (PNAC, and our current Eurasian-- or is it East Asian-- wars).
  5. What are you listening to?

    Heheh! Good taste, man.
  6. End of the world is May 21st.

Mozart's The Magic Flute. Good piece of the soundtrack for an End of Days event.
  7. Very good point, GiH. I would like to apologize to anyone I may have offended recently on the forum. I can sometimes be unnecessarily cruel with words.
  8. End of the world is May 21st.

Being willfully ignorant of reality has caused destruction upon otherwise decent peoples' lives.
  9. End of the world is May 21st.

Yes. Kidding; good point. Willful ignorance is a problem, though. There was a family with a 2 year old daughter and another kid on the way who sold all their possessions because of this fiasco.
  10. End of the world is May 21st.

Nice picks there, Ralis. I always enjoyed the haunting beauty of Europe After the Rain.
  11. Wabi Sabi

You sir, may have been bewitched by a fox spirit. I suggest you steel your mind, lest you succumb to further lunacy.
  12. Wabi Sabi

I really enjoy what everyone is bringing to the table in this thread. Our interpretations of the "wabi sabi" concept are like pieces of the puzzle-- and they all fit, yet the missing pieces wholly define the concept itself. Even trying to pin down "wabi sabi" has a recursive, wabi sabi quality. I love this, it is a very sobering yet emotionally intense feeling.
  13. What are you listening to?

This seems topical. (Or maybe some Jimi Hendrix, All Along the Watchtower.)

  16. What are you listening to?

Heheh, I tried to find a video that didn't make him look like an androgynous beatnik, but that was the best-sounding version-- nevertheless, good song. If you guys enjoyed that, I suggest looking for "My Shit's Fucked Up" by the same guy.
  17. Organic Farming: The revolution of the future.

Hello Adishakt-- since you are in India, you may have a first hand experience in the crisis of overpopulation and sustainable farming. I've heard reports of Monsato and genetically modified seeds effectively displacing or ruining rural farmers to the point where they are committing suicide out of desperation. I'm sure the more urban areas have other economies to focus and succeed in, but these reverberations may reach your entire nation-- eventually the world.

  20. The So-called "Tree of Life" has been debunked

No-- that is part of the problem, you do not see the point I am making. I was not equating eugenics with ID, I was comparing how ridiculous both ideas are as avenues of thought. Vortex believes in alien creationism, I4L believes in... debunking something factual. Yet I am the ridiculous one.
  21. The So-called "Tree of Life" has been debunked

By all means, continue to debate using childish syllogism. We have Marblehead, Ralis, Blasto, myself and others using facts against all their silliness. It is almost amusing.
  22. The So-called "Tree of Life" has been debunked

You honestly cannot see that was the point I was making-- how did you pass any sort of rudimentary reading comprehension? Yes, people believe in dangerous things. Like eugenics or ID (christian or atheist, both parties can hold the same destructive pattern). Eugenics was dismissed long ago, like ID. I can't believe I have to type this much out for you. I will make it simple: Man creates God to create Man.
