I see many Christians trying to impose their views in somewhat non-violent means...(but the anti-abortionists certainly are violent) & Jahovah's witnesses just don't count, nor do the Falwell, Pat Robertson and their ilk I guess...? But why not, they sure try. The division of church & state in the USA has disappeared since the Bushites have their mandate from heaven...

Buddy- I have been to both NYC and Boston. One does not preclude the other. Open yr mind to other possibilities, then what were once narrow views will broaden and yr arguements disappear.. Getting there is not being there, and never will be - until the mind makes each the other... desolving the problems with the distinctions being made... It is the distinctions that you create in your mind that manifests as plausible and factual and unrealistic... These distinctions may not always be shared by people with minds that function on levels you do not accept or recognize as real in your experience... Address your own limitations as challanges, rather than imposing them on others. Your world view may grow beyond what you now see as its limits... which just exist in yr own mind and not all others' minds...

I will check out the movie ASAP- Here in central NJ two of my best friends are Moslem and we kid around about our back-grounds (my father was a Jew) and such, often ... The jokes may be bitter at times even cruel ... but we use them to transcend and find humor in our all too human differences. I am in fact understanding of world dislike of America right now ... our leadership has made us "the evil empire"... Just by letting Big Oil and Big Biz -like the Carlyle Group dictate our foriegn policy... The radicals are an implacable enemy that needs to be curtailed, Israel knows this for a long time. The nuts have sway very often in our world, Sociopaths seem to grab power all too often, it is what they crave, and weak-minded populations allow themselves to be led astray in almost any direction...

these words are true, yet people quarrel, over many matters, great & small You seem to have a quarrel with quarreling itself, this may be a step forward in your conscious mind but it may also negate a part of yr psyche that needs to be addressed,,, Taoism is not Buddhism, in that we do not place halves of emotive componants such as love/hate or even pacivity/violence in such hierarchical terms. We of course, do know which are preferable for furthering our inner strengths and creating a world of harmony... I for one know that even violence has a place in my world and I do not place myself aside or above the world in which I live...I will remove myself from situations that are not harmonious when able to do so, but in cases where such movement isn't possible I do what I can to bring harmony back into place... There is no inherent value in these differentiations for me, only personal preferences as it were -each has a place in the cosmic whole we call life...

Hey, are there any lawyers doing this Kunlun thing? Does Kunlun as a group, allow lawyers to join and practice with you? And if so, why !? You guys may need some damn lawyers if this thread keeps up and then you'r really in for it...!!! Talk about troubles -well there ya are...Avoid any biz that calls for lawyers to participate... They NEVER offer Bliss. they will lie to you ( and may be just like this guy Max if he is such a big liar)... BUT WAIT A SEC... That has not been astablished for me as yet - Ill probably be forced to ask a freaking lawyer to explain it to me... & then damn it all... well it is all just too much BS without the practice been tried... cartharsis is never pretty.... but that rant was meant to be more amusing then some took it... Anger can be a very constructive tool ...as some answers offered in the questions opening this thread indicated as possible... yes? well lets explore that tool as well....I do think that controling anger is an issue worth exploration, so how do we begin to explore our anger without getting in touch with it on a constructive footing of introspection and forebarence... acceptance of its' presence and the taming it for useful purpose...seems a worthwhile way to spend one's time if anger is present in the psyche, which I admit is the case for me in recent times... I am sorry to have been so rude as to vent...on a thread about anger I figured it a great place to run with it...
