Well now...you've been his right hand man for...what is it 6 years or so? You don't feel confident to teach and yet there are so many new instructors who have been practicing for as long as I have. So you are saying that really only Max is qualified to answer questions? Is that what you are saying? "Kan's or Jenny's level of comprehension". Last I heard Jenny was a free agent and has no affiliation with Kunlun, is that right? So there's only two people who are qualified by what you are saying. What if someone has a serious problem and Max, Kan or Jenny are not available for answer what happens then? Well, you wouldn't even be able to determine if it was serious now would you? Sweet Jesus.

I made a point of driving out to meet him in person. He's not coming back. Sweet Jesus.

Chris, take a look at the email before yours. That's what was burning him up so bad. That's what his emails to you and Max were about, and just to clarify NONE of his emails were ever answered by any of you.
-
He wrote earlier about the problem he was having, but I guess you didn't notice, overlooked it, or he didn't deserve an answer? You never asked him anything else about it and just told him to take a break. All his questions were about this cold feeling that started with RP 1. He stopped practicing Kunlun and RP about a month ago and still feels that internal cold, and his head feels heavy and confused. The "negativity" may be because he physically feels unwell.

What difference does it make who it is? He is a student AND that's all you need to know. He practiced for 2 years and brought up valid points. I told him many times to give it up and walk away, and have been trying to get him to consider the teacher and practice I have now. He had to give it one more chance, stubborn kid. Look how you treat people, is it any wonder why he wouldn't tell you who he is? To Satori and Chris or Satori/Chris all I can say is that I always knew you had enough ego for two people.

This post from winpro seems more appropriate here since it has a chance of being seen by Chris and Satori. Later Edit - What would this fall under? Would this be considered a technical side-effect question? Does this pose a threat to winpro's health (never mind his pocketbook)? Would this be the kind of queston to ask a teacher?

It wasn't nonsense. Wish you had stood by it, but I have an understanding now of how difficult all of this is for you to write out. You have my respect.

What an amazing learning experience for all concerned. For ALL concerned.
-
Well now...all that certainly trumps my daily horoscope quote.
-
I thought we had moved past all this and begun focusing on improving the quality of our experiences.
-
"You see them everywhere: boy racers, flash cars. They sit at the stop light, revving their engine. The moment it changes they race off with a roar before screeching to a halt at the next light. Meanwhile, the more sedate driver trundles on at a sensible pace and reaches the next light at much the same time." Here's the rest of the quote: "You do not believe in wasting energy. You are too intelligent - and wise. You are neither tortoise nor hare - you are capable of standing back from the contest."

I left the Max practices to find a more balanced approach with another teacher and practice. There are practices that do not cause such manifestations, and the letting go happens in more subtle ways. You remain calm and clear and if you have genuine questions the teacher occasionally offers guidance. With a path like this attachment to the teacher, practice, students, as well as your experiences never becomes an issue. I regretted not speaking up more on the Kunlun forum to support more those that did. I felt something lift with Chris's post and feel that regret now gone. I have nothing but respect for the people who spoke up and for those who have opened up more to truly listen.

How has the Kunlun practice helped you if there are still these unresolved issues... if there is still this remorse? It didn't seem to help you with finding clarity, calm and freedom in the middle of this paticular storm. Well at least not yet.

I felt it too.

Well now...isn't this nice? We are argeeing on more and more things. My thanks to you -O- for your posts.

Well now...I truly thank you for this.

Golden Dragon - Kunlun or other arts?

In the end, we all pretend. Great pretenders, thinking we know anything at all. -
Golden Dragon - Kunlun or other arts?
TexasNative replied to Wun Yuen Gong's topic in General Discussion
There are some of us that have been open to considering all realities, an unbiased "let's take a look and see" approach. Some of us have found ourselves there as a result of committed daily practice. It would have been mighty nice to have been level headed enough to stay out of the drama and actually watch what was there without engaging too much of our own 'stuff' but what we allowed placed us in situations so as to experience levels of fear never before encountered. A continued openness allows you to hit a threshold, once reached you may very well experience fear again but never to that same extent because you catch yourself before you get lost in it. In these situation how you react may possibly come down to what kind of education you have had and what kind of repetitive savvy you may have built up, it may not come down to something that can or should be judged by others.
