U. G. K. spent time around the Maharishi. U. G. Asked him why he was recommeding the things he did when his (supposed) enlightenment had nothing to do with these techniques. Maharishi answered "if it works it works. if it doesn't it doesn't". There you all go, I saved you the time of reading that interview! Also check out the Zen teachings on Rinzai, very good book, he never meditated, nor worshipped any gods.

Thing is Jesus and Buddha are just a concept to you an me. Really it means nothing. The Kunlun group are very similar to this. This is why I was pointing out the parallels. I don't think you'll ever find the true science behind all this shit. LOL I saw a guy on TB called esoteric scientist, I saw good luck to him/her! All esoteric stuff is like that. According to Li he has unlimited "law bodies" that can see everything, and can change from the size of a pin point to the size of a building. They reside in some dimension we cannot see because our third eyes aren't open. Has anyone here got their third eye open? Have you seen one of Li's law bodies All esoteric stuff seems to promote that paranoid mindset. Thinking someone has something we don't (special energy, opened third eye). Like that guy in that other thread talking about that homeless guy he thinks is enlightened. Classic paranoia. Believing all that theosophical style shit = paranoid man. Why the hell would you stick up for the communist party? I don't do it, but seriously I don't see how a group of qigong practitioners deserve the treatment they are being given. You asked for it. Li does say its not about healing or health and fitness but about higher cultivation AKA salvation. Personally I thought that was the true purpose of qigong so to create an immortal light body in the physical alchemical laboratory, not some cheesy health and fitness stuff. But maybe salvation does not exist? Then we can brush aside all this stuff. Ha reminds me of the Samael Aun Weor and the modern Gnostic movement. Li Hongzhi was given a free house in the USA. Also I heard he made A LOT of money on the book sales (he got % of it). I mean think how many book they sold! Same happened with the modern Gnostic movement. Somehow these guys get there expenses paid. Non-profit is often BS.

What interests me about remote viewing is not if people can do the Derren Brown style remote viewing, or the magickal ritual style remote viewing.... But if people can do the kind of remote viewing where you can close your eyes and see anywhere you want to as if seeing with your physical eyes. This to me is very practical. Any takers?

Can you really believe in that stuff also? Well if it has worked good for you I guess. I have heard of people of people using zapper developing problems later on, like people who have lost cancer then got it again. How is this "alterative" stuff different from the "mainstream" medicine. Bacteria are not necessarily there to harm you. How can you know that? Sorry I'm not having a go at you. Just throwing out some zen koans.

What the newspapers/media do is just a kind of sorcery..... When you get a pain the body deals with it, it doesn't need anything else. What they have created is just a business created on our paranoia. If you cannot deal with the pain you can take a painkiller, for your sake not your bodies. To think anything can surpuss the intelligence of the body is plain ridiculous. People get a pain and become paranoid. They go to the doc because they think he knows something. He doesn't, he poisons you instead. Any natural healing is stopped right there. I had to study some of this healthcare crap, personally I saw it as really ugly stuff. I wouldn't wish what they do to my enemies. But people can do what they want. But if people try to force it on me (lucky for me I have no children, but i'm sure i'd try to protect them if i did), i'd hope i'd do whatever I could to stop them. Aw, social welfare eh?

I read the one by Wei Wu Wei. Do you reckon you could do the I-Ching by just looking at the symbols, with no explanation of the hexagrams? Or you could use the tarot..... Or you could do dowsing.... I had to give my brain a rest. Apparently you can use anything for divination. So in this respect are the eight hexagrams arbitrary?

Stripping the gurus is kind of interesting, I'd love to see one on Tolle . U G Krishnamurti is your man if you want a real insider though..... Oh, and that BBC Sai Baba documentry, interviewing that boy he made perform sexual favours for him. It used to be on torrents, probs on youtube now. Anyway, the New Agers consider this guy an ascended master. Check out IAMUNIVERSITY for instance. Love and Peace Haha, just kidding.

I'd like to hear more talk on Max even though everyones probably sick of it. Never met him and it'll be a while if I could afford to (if i want to that is) One questionable thing about him is that in the 07 lecture clip : http://www.kunlunbliss.com/media.html he talks about his teachers being over 100 years old and looking like they are in their 40s or 30s. Now Max is early 40s or something? Looks to me at the pictures as if hes going gray losing his hair. And the recent pictures of him he has shaved his head with a razor, I know a lot of men do this when they get bald patches, receding hairlines .etc. I'm not dissing the guy, but when all this talk of physical immortality(which would interest me VERY much ), dormant DNA being activated, ultra-healing .etc from kunlun practice, can we not have a better poster boy? ALSO, what is Red Phoenix and why isn't it in the book? AND, when Jenny Lamb says Level 1 is ALL people need, is she talking about getting the Golden Dragon Body. Another thought on Max. Who has opened their third eye from kunlun? Max had his third eye opened by a thunderbolt.

Well I thought it was one of the smartest questions. I wondered exactly the same thing. Why in hell would you just practice something for the sake of it?

The implants you talk about is a Falun wheel that is installed in your lower abdomen Li Hongzhi apparently installs if you are a genuine cultivator. It spins. When I did Falun Gong, I would get a quite tangible and intense of spinning in my lower abdomen. I really do not understand this stuff. In his lectures Li Hongzhi also said that in Tantra you got a Sri Tantra installed in your lower abdomen, he said that was the only other genuine cultivation path. In his lectures he seemed to say if you wanted genuine cultivation you'd either have to do Falun Gong, or go to Tibet and never come back! Apparently Li Hongzhi said that not one of his students may ever reach one hundredth of his level, not exactly encouraging That Falun Wheel is supposed to work to purify you even when you cannot practice. This is simmilar to what I have heard about Kunlun. Other parellels are ETs, masters (astral?) who come to watch and observe you while you practice. Yet another parellel with kunlun is that Li Hongzhi says it doesn't matter what you eat. Well at least Falun Gong is free, all the books, everything, but if you dedicate its a hefty price! But if you succeed..... Who knows whether anythings at the end of the tunnel? But the whole phenomenom is creepy. Like what is apprently going on in China with the persecution, how they are harvesting their organs .etc, WTF is going on there? Maybe qigong masters are an ancient form of drug dealer, dishing out mystical experiences..... And since society wants us to all be linear-minded.... Just a thought. I am just parroting what I've been told, so don't get tetchy thinking I'm an advocate or cult member or anything.... I don't do Falun Gong, did it, mostly on my own... What attracted me with Falun Gong was the making of spiritual bodies, so you can escape death and rebirth. Wasn't interested in becoming a healer, a teacher, or a master PUA ( ), or being one of those Law of Attraction con-men. Now, I can not even believe if they exist or not, I haven't a clue. Another thing, in an interview with Li Hongzhi it seemed to indicate he still had to practiced. Now, that for me is not a good signal, that he still has to practice. I only ever practiced anything to gain an end. Yet if he is enlightened why is he still practicing? I want to be free of practice so immediatly I can sweep that aside (for me personally). I kind of like his stance on medicine even though everyone hates it lol. Maybe if I am ever in severe pain i will change my mind, but hopefully I could get hold of some Mary Jane instead of that pharmaceutical filth. The body can heal itself, and so many things latch on to this fact and create cults. Also, Seth Ananda how is Li Hongzhi a fraud? I find this kind of stuff entertaining (read a lot of U G K)

Hello everyone, I am joining TBs to start off some interesting topics.... I was originally interested in enlightenment which was my motivation behind any qigong, meditation or "spiritual" doing, but now I don't even know what "enlightenment" is supposed to mean, so I am left quite aimless (for now). In fact I seem to be left just wanting to make a living and thinking the rest doesn't matter. But that could all change, who knows. So just came here to chat for a bit of fun.
