  1. Being slow or fast: being who you are

Thanks everyone. I agree with the heal self first. Due to guilt and many other things I wanted to be a healer but basically I prefer having a good time letting things be as they are. The understanding unfortunately arises afterwards : too late. It will take some time to recover. But I can understand why people do various abusive things to themselves. That's how life has been presented to them. One good thing coming out of this is my relationship to other people has been improved. Maybe Daoism / Buddhism has a place but I think our Western patterns coming from other people and society makes this very difficult.
  2. Let go of your negative emotions

The act of talking to others can help destroy illusions. It seems that just after words have come out of your mouth a deeper understanding arises. Not self-reflection but a feeling of untruthness / truthfulness, a way of gauging of whether it is your true self that is speaking versus learned beliefs. This is why the idea of being silent is very bad. Lately a new feeling has popped up "fearlessness" and the feeling of "don't be such a coward". "Don't be such a coward" leans to just being yourself without hiding behind a specific method / teacher / anything. Identifying too much with a outer concept is another thing that needs to be crushed along the way to obtain that feeling of being good enough no matter what happens.
  3. Belly breathing and anxiety questions

For anxiety, sleep is very important in my experience. Try taking magnesium since our food these days doesn't contain enough. LDT breathing in the evening is not good for people with anxiety. It will probably make things worse since energising the body results in difficulty in sleeping and other things. Ultimately I found the root of my own anxiety to be due to extreme self-hatred. Complete honesty will help crush the ego.
  4. Accomplishment

All ideas of accomplishment comes from a lack of true self worth. When you finally get there and feel absolutely nothing is wrong with you and nothing is wrong with others genuine love stream from your chest and nothing else is needed. This is how dropping down into your body feels like for me. So basically you don't need to act to feel good. You feel good because you are.
  5. Let go of your negative emotions

Jetsun I agree. There is a reason behind the emotion and the most stuck ones come from your childhood and is best treated as such using the Western approach. I used to like Buddhism and Taoism but I can see now they cannot be used to fully integrate oneself in a coherent way. In Buddhism there is a lot of denial and suppression involved. Taoism on the other hand is overly technical with the emphasis on organs, centers and so on. My feeling is there is a lot of fear behind not confronting the low level beliefs and a belief escapism is a good thing which it is not. In therapy you have to let your guard down and completely reveal yourself which is why it works. Another aspect in Eastern philosophies is the aspect of the guru / master. Ultimately you need to fully trust yourself by being in your body. This trust can also be learned from a good therapist. The emphasis on techniques, methods, meditation takes you away from yourself by objectifying everything instead of treating yourself as a human with emotions. Sure there is a place for working with energetics, meditation in the beginning but it needs to be let go of. Once you are rooted in the body and trust yourself all the technical mumbo-jumbo seems very foreign. Even awakening seems like a ego driven goal.
  6. Perspectives on Narcissism

More on this since I had a breakthrough recently. If there is some sort of trauma in your childhood then this trauma will result in a formation of thought patterns that get played out in the head repeatedly. Some function in the brain seems to take these thoughts seriously and this is where a self image pops up which is skewed - when compared to reality. This can be very tough to break out from because of how the brain operates since it believes so much in this self image. Only when the trauma gets healed will those thought patterns disappear and you can see clearer. And this process goes on since there is always some level of blindness. I used to believe in the process of mechanically working on myself and doing this or that kind of exercise. However any mechanical view of life is also a result of trauma - life is actually more much alive so life itself will provide the tools you need when you need them. This is the beauty of it.
  7. Am I physically capable of spiritual evolution?

I don't have a recipe for success but basically it is very difficult to love and bond to others if you have a lot of anger in you. The desire to bond to others is natural but because of circumstances in upbringing and sometimes pre-birth then it becomes very difficult. Eg. if your mother didn't really want you then life will seem harder for you than for others. I believe now that the dark knight syndrome is something deeper than I previously thought. It is not only a state of confusion where the mind goes beserk because it is on its way out - I think it is because of trauma that inhibits the natural dropping down into your heart. The split in personality can sometimes feel as if a bubble is sorrounding you - and feeling incapable of going through it. Also a feeling of being frozen in certain actions related to your sense of self. I think conscious understanding is part of the healing process - since it seems the mind is holding on. So discovering what caused the trauma might help though therapy is not an easy process. Also connecting to someone who is on a very high level vibrationally and have a loving, generous attitude will help. The biology / neurology also plays its part since it is necessary to generate new pathways in the brain and open up unused parts. So a lot of rewiring is needed.
  8. We are ALL inherently evil...

No we are good not evil. The evil is a cause of the original split which results in rage and ultimately violence. Some Christians then project their original self as God and seek externally for this God even though he cannot be found.
  9. Perspectives on Narcissism

Probably a cause of being split into mind and body which results in confusion, despair and so on. Takes some time to unwind that into wholeness when dropping down into your body and letting go of the ego control. Any sort of suppression won't work because suppression is one of the causes.
  10. Clean space

an answer to the topic here http://thetaobums.com/topic/35840-time-line-meditation-tlm/ So Clean space was something I read about http://www.cleanlanguage.co.uk/articles/articles/24/1/Clean-Space-Modeling-Human-Perception-through-Emergence/Page1.html Clean space and clean language is based on a modeling of David Grove, a psychotherapist. In this case we are working with clean space in order to find more information about an issue that annoys us or we want to heal something. The introductory version This works on yourself or others. No force nor intention to heal is used. Basic information gathering is done and the issue disappears entirely based on self-recognition. You can read more about it in the link. 1. Stand in front of the issue. This is position 1. 2. Ask yourself "and what do you know about this issue from here?" 3. Ask yourself "can you find a space that knows about [issue] [or more]?" 4. You move there. Go to 2. 5. When stuck you return to position 1 and step 2. And so on. The condensed chris d version 1. Zoom close to the issue. 2. Ask about it. 3. Just move around and get the knowing from different angles, up, down, left, right, in the 3 dimensional space. This avoids the tendency for the mind to lock on to a certain angle of the issue and opens up to all kinds of insight. The issue disappears on its own!
  11. Using Affirmations To Open Meridians ?

Probably it is because of the frequency of his vibration rather than the mind. Consider getting a call from your grandma saying "all your channels are open". Not the same effect.
  12. Time Line Meditation (TLM)

Regarding "shenning out" : my thinking about this, could be right / wrong depending on perspective. The brain structures need energy to rearrange and to create new pathways. The brain tries to conserve energy, a basic survival mechanism. You can see this when you get tired then the higher level functions in the brain shuts down. So no energy = no transformation.

  14. Time Line Meditation (TLM)

Thanks, good stuff. I do something similar just in 3D, the process is mostly spontaneous like you describe RTLM.
  15. It seems like a couple of healing sessions would clear that up. Another option is start doing a qigong practice designed primarily for healing the body.
  16. In the end go with your intuition. It comes from yourself and is part of the higher intelligence, the Tao. You get the intuitive knowing, you do it. The more this process is done the more it becomes natural and second nature to you and you don't need input from others. Book knowledge and other general suggestions is dead intelligence since it is disconnected from you in that particular situation.
  17. Anxiety can be a really deep issue. It can be caused by the life you are living, like are you really doing what you like or are you conforming to other people's expectations? Then there are the primal energies being suppressed;rage, despair, terror. This can also cause anxiety because the life force is pushing you but you unconsciously are holding back. CBT/ERP is good in the sense you are facing your issues rather than running away.
  18. Yes, theoretically although to transform the lower level ego a lot of momentum aka energy or stillness is needed.
  19. Hi , I am no expert in astral projection, travel and so on but...it seems you have some weaknesses around separating your astral body from your physical body. The Archaeous exercise is a nice way to do it in your waking state https://web.archive.org/web/20130516105618/http://www.abardoncompanion.com/Archaeous.pdf (see page 4) abardoncompanion.com does not exists anymore unfortunately hence the archive.org link. The thing is in my experience it not only requires energy as in qi but also clearing the weaknesses / blockages preventing that. At least that's my feeling. Clearing your weaknesses can be done by others like myself or by yourself using various techniques, the qi you need to build yourself.
  20. A toast to Dawg - he has Awakened

SkĆ„l as they say in my country 😊 The more the merrier.
  21. You are probably right. I think there are two schools of thought : it is all you so any entity is a projection from your unconcious Or there is a external entity which causes the thoughts and images. I think both views are valid and you can work out to clear entities based on different mind sets. I've had images of violence pop up for no apparent reason, some call it OCD some call it entities. It took a whole lot of clearing to get rid of such images. What I find helpful is clearing yourself with techniques and/or being aligned with a higher vibration 24/7 if possible. The vibration makes it easier to let go into a higher state because the resistance is kind of turned down.
  22. Mastering the emotions

What do you mean by "charged"?
  23. Mastering the emotions

People suppress the emotions because they get taught to do so. Some spiritual traditions make this even worse because they don't know how to deal with it and so the only answer is to keep suppressing yourself. There's nothing wrong with anger, sadness and so on.
  24. I have uploaded new entrainments to loosen you up in case you are interested http://insightguide.net/entrainments/ The primal rage might be of interest to those who are into lower dantien practices in that I found that the energy from the practice triggered that explosive energy in the rage and made it completely impossible to practice.
  25. Primal rage, inner critic, self-image

The MP3s aren't brainwave entrainments; They aren't entraining the brain waves into a certain frequency but "rocking" the body-mind gently, which goes around the defenses and so shouldn't cause a healing crisis. So the compression in this case doesn't matter. If I look 'entrain' up one synonym is 'enter' which could also describe the process : one is entering or being helped to enter a new state.
