In direct experience we cannot find right action, nor wrong action. All we can say is there is a display of movement and stillness, maybe even this is saying too much. We cannot find any seif nor doer of action. These are concepts, then we fight the concepts, like Don Quixote fighting windmills 😅

A really good book, recommended. I would place Dzogchen in a separate section, not even Buddhism. Commentary -
Per surrender what? The last paragraph? No, I use Divine magic to setup situations for myself. Whatever the direction the Divine throws at me I will follow. You can call it surrender. Quite painful but after a healing session then the issue has disappeared and I am on to next growth task 😊
-
Learned might be a bad word used. I put the issue through a healing protocol which revealed childhood unconscious issues about never been loved so a look into the eyes of a person triggered a fear of emptiness which is ego death. I knew why the Divine set me up with this person, it was to clear up an obstruction to realization - fearless love.
-
Well of course, since expectation is attachment to outcome which is suffering. Fear however is learned behavior, I need to unlearn it. Slowly but surely.
-
Good we have you here, stirling ❤️ I just had a synchronistic event that made me realize something about love. It should be freely given with no fear, no expectation of something in return. 🙏🙏🙏

Always be kind = Mr nice guy which unfortunately doesn't work in abusive relationships where boundaries need to set and enforced. If one thinks this way - always be kind - lessons will be learned towards a more balanced approach in my experience.

I think good and evil exist in the normal relative reality we exist in. Eg a rapist I would consider evil even though I could understand that causes and conditions lead to that state of a human. I wouldn't just bypass 'oh, everything is emptiness, thus no punishment should be enacted', this would just be silly.

My suggestion is to work on healing your trauma as that is one way these spirits get in. I use VortexHealing but there are other modalities out there. PM me for other suggestions. -
Before Talking To The Teacher: Observe Yourself
johndoe2012 replied to johndoe2012's topic in Buddhist Discussion
In Dzogchen context, a second step is needed, observe 'who' is mindful. Otherwise you won't penetrate duality. -

I was never that much focused on abilities except healing. I think besides healing then awakening / Truth is more important. Though it was Divine intention to give me martial abilities to fight off evil spirits which is quite cool. Low jing is something to look out for. I can tell when spirits attach to my system and suck energy and then they get a kick. -

I think it does. Denying the wish is an imbalanced approach, but I know why people are doing it. Mostly because of suffering, to escape it and also from believing the myths of spirituality too much. That realization of the Self will lead to their daily life being totally wonderful. -

The soul is ever changing... But ignoring it will also lead to suffering in my opinion. -

I tried that and it didn't work. I believe from personal experience that we need to heal our broken parts to lead a fullfilling life. I have interacted with others that show signs of spiritual bypassing, eg not dealing with romantic relationships because that's what old texts told them to do. Totally silly and will lead to what I call the stone face of the spiritual person. Another example is myself. For a long time in daily life I would suddenly suffer from temporary moments of deep sadness and longing for love. I went to a therapist and there my inner child was suddenly seen, heard, validated. I could sense the adult and grown up psyche in the therapist and suddenly because of mirroring my psyche would grow up as well. This lead to decreased suffering and more fulfillment in life. I think the name 'pearl' in Sufism is a perfect analogy for what it is like. Because of my own inner work, it has reflected back to my mother who acted like a child also some times. My deep listening to her helped her grow up her inner child as well which decreased her suffering 🙏 -

Stirling, there is a human psyche as well. This is what therapists work with. Buddhism is not exempt from the reality of the human. Which is why you see some Buddhist teachers add psychological techniques to deal with the psyche. Just focusing on Self is what people call spiritual bypassing. In VortexHealing we have a transmission to work with the human psyche and do therapy in a way not seen in other systems. You can realize Self and the psyche will still be that of a child. Which happens if you look in spiritual communities. One example is the student clinging to the teacher instead of growing up and being their own teacher. -
I have asked Merlin help break it down.

I do reiki and qigong with no issues. @Strong&free you need to open up your leg channels. The Dragon from Way of Power by Lam Kam Chuen is good for that.

What you are talking about is what I have done through inner child work, healing and therapy to grow up parts of the psyche. Some do not do it and prefer spiritual bypassing either consciously or unconsciously. -

Entity attachment is usually caused by trauma, mostly from childhood. Most people are blind to it. I work with Merlin and asked Merlin to help Jason with the entity. Let's see if something shifts. -

Exactly what narcissists with entity attachments also do. They confuse you into a negative state to eat your energy. -
What is the Daoist take on memory issues caused by awakening
johndoe2012 replied to markern's topic in Daoist Discussion
Yes it is a better state to be in, because I enjoy life so much more rather than compare what happened 'last time'. Some of the Daoist exercises I do have very complex choreographies. It requires memory and daily doing. The effect is an overall improved memory also in other non-emotional areas of my life. So a good brain workout 😊 -
Yesterday when I recognized it, there was no judging or anything. Just non doing and joy. Even if people don't know what this is, it actually doesn't matter. They are all divine anyway.
