  1. Taoist point of view towards sauna therapy

I use infrared sauna in the winter time to release bodily tension. At home I have an infrared lamp. Pointing it to my lower back for just 10-15 min increases kidney qi and the whole body relaxes.
  2. Motivation

If you lost your motivation 😊
  3. The Neidan Direct

No worries or anxiety about stirring jing here. No confusion on my part. Expectation does build up energy in anticipation for future events. So you get disappointed if expectation is not met, happy if met. This is part of suffering. No expectations = no problem.
  4. The Neidan Direct

The problem is expectation, not desire. Here there is no longer a frustration if desire is not met. Just peace and quietness. Awareness has no problem with desire. Look at identity when seeing frustration and expectation. Then the problem goes away.
  5. Ming Men

In a zen dojo they focused on ming men not LDT when in meditation. I wondered about it but it worked out fine.

  7. Your opinion about reiki?

The Reiki version from the book I linked to in this thread is fine but cannot release deep ego stuff to reach Awakening/Nirvana/Emptiness but some emotional / mental release can be done. The other day I zapped a virus in both me and my son in less than one minute using Bak Fu Sunn Yee Gung qi and this definitely cannot be done with Reiki with such speed and depth.
  8. Forgiveness

I had accumulated resentment, it was completely unbearable so I had to forgive. Hopefully someone will find it useful
  9. The ultimate goal of Neidan

You are talking about Sutra Buddhism which can go on for life times. Now we have Tantra, Mahamudra and Dzogchen which are faster paths. From "Modern Buddhism: The Path of Compassion and Wisdom - Volume 2 Tantra" by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
  10. Bagua, nei gong, meditation etc

There's also Alex Kozma's Neigong exercises course
  11. Two sessions and I understand DDJ from a much deeper perspective than before. Intellectual vs more of a living-breathing thing. Also MCO opened up more than before plus deeper connection to the Divine. No wild movements so far, my energy system has very few blockages. Thanks 🥰
  12. Daoist Meditation

Meditate/contemplate on each chapter in DDJ.
  13. If you have no healing experience you might think it is nuts that Christ energy suddenly comes in. In fact anything can happen during a session where we are open to the Divine. The last part of a healing protocol from VortexHealing is to be open to the Divine and let it do its thing without interference.
  14. The ultimate goal of Neidan

What is your source for that?
  15. Taoist methods

The storm intuition was just 'let's do this instead of that' The money situation was very direct. It came from strong knowing just as I woke up from sleep. Like somebody warned of me impending doom. These days I can also feel things happen before they actually do, that's just energy currents changing. Sometimes difficult in interpersonal relationships. Important here is not to take things personally, even when pain arises.
  16. Forgiveness

Lol. Yes difficult to let go... If very difficult this meditation is not enough. Although I find it powerful in the sense that it dissolved part of the sense of self. Trauma can run very deep. I still carry wounds from something that happened more than 40 years ago. Letting go all the time in different ways to be free of that.
  17. Forgiveness

Yes. Dumb forgiveness, becoming a push over and people pleaser just to get peace.
  18. Forgiveness

You are right but what is the alternative? Holding on to resentment towards the other destroys your peace of mind. Better to let go.
  19. Taoist methods

I have avoided big storms and one time when I didn't follow it, I lost a lot of money.
  20. Taoist methods

I sometimes get the feeling 'do this' without knowing where it comes from. Not ego I think, more a sense of things are changing, follow the impersonal flow of life. It can feel very energetic, like if I were to do the opposite, my whole body would go numb.
  21. The ultimate goal of Neidan

From that video I heard two people discuss their practice as something beautiful. They were excited and enthusiastic. Reminds me of this from Soh from Awakening to Reality Amazement, beauty, love, oneness.
  22. The ultimate goal of Neidan

Short or Long form, doesn't matter as long as Taiji principles are followed, the result is the same. As for the first two questions maybe dwai is more experienced and can answer those.
  23. The ultimate goal of Neidan

Whether it will lead to some sort of neidan-ish results I don't know but Yang Taiji follows the Taiji principles and if you read this book https://www.amazon.com/Juice-Radical-Energetics-Scott-Meredith/dp/1478260696/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=X59H7SRGGGIG&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.H7odmSS6lk4gkAi8vYk36Tm-OqeW5J4vmBhJxzDm0HZs9YviF7axeNAbQkb9jQS9_hYExt-oJ3vFKgLUbBT0TJ8H_b5-tmOmo_-mtclK4b3YhrSGGD31c7PgmEyps2SHyEnDY67AHPvFOZyxdr7p87GiGnnSUaleL6Wq9kUQ9TMAN5pD11K5VkQEbe-cYLrZtpPMUXnOworwaB8CJqBexQ.YVJgpZswxfA0TlHmj670VsMOp2K3CSusGG4w-zIuRrk&dib_tag=se&keywords=Scott+meredith&qid=1725218000&sprefix=scott+meredith%2Caps%2C678&sr=8-2 The energetics will come alive sooner rather than later.
