Fvck enlightenment, let's practise!

Sorry if I'm irritating people by bringing this up in several threads, but has anyone had success with hypnosis in dealing with bad programming? I'm using self-hypnosis as a tool alongside qigong, so I can't say what is helping what, but I have a feeling it's a good method for relaxing and building confidence in positive change. I've been improving

I've been practising self-hypnosis with Mark Cunningham's recordings and learned the "10 to 1 count" method of going into a trance state. Today when I was sitting in lotus I found my mind wandering in mundane things and yesterday's events as it often does. I decided to use the method of drawing a number on my imaginary chalkboard and then wiping it clean. This put me in state where, for a while, I had no thoughts at all. When a thought started to manifest I was able to make it vanish effortlessly. I was delighted by this, since it helped me focus better on breathing. Another way of "blocking" thoughts I use is chanting "Om" without sound, in my mind.

Are there differences between the various qigong practices and how do I choose the right one for me?
King Kabalabhati replied to mindspring's topic in General Discussion
Mindspring, as you can see it's not a simple question you asked ...but if you're looking for a very simple qigong for healing yourself and others, Spring Forest would seem to be a good system. -
I was reading Chia's "Awakening Healing Energy" just the other day.. I realised his books are so full of information that you don't really know what the emphasis should be on, especially when beginning. His style is to cram the book full of detailed instructions but most don't have the time to do all the exercices and so you're left a bit uncertain about what it is that you should do with your limited available practice time, and why. So while he is probably the best-known Taoist teacher, his books are not so great for self-study without a live teacher. He does provide information on grounding and he does include warnings and safety precautions. For example, in "Awakening.." he's warning about not trying to dominate the chi but to follow its course. He's telling the practicioner to be very relaxed. But in his sexuality books he's accentuating the power and virtues of the more manipulative exercises and you don't get the feeling you should be careful with the fiery nature of these practices, rather you start feeling the urgency to forcefully suppress your ejaculation right away and altogether..

I found there's a small orbit going round inside my skull. Or at least it feels like there is

I got level 1 CD/DVD/book set and was at first a bit hesitant to start.. It seemed too simplistic and "naive".. hehehe But then I started doing it and now I don't want to live without half hour-1 hour a day. I dropped most of my previous programs for this.. like Tao Yin and almost all sexual practices a la Mantak Chia.. Don't feel like I need em anymore, now that I'm healing so nicely So now I just do this and isometrics and feel very good. Also, the healing that master Lin teaches seems to be very simple and effective, I was able to help my daughter who suffers from sleeping apnea and snoring.. She started to breathe more freely almost immediately and has been improving ever since, I did the first session about a month ago. So we maybe don't need to cut her tonsils out, that is a relief.

In case you are doing the exercices correctly, there is a chance of any kind of symptoms coming up when first beginning.. When I started with Pranayama breathing years ago I had severe anxiety attacking, along with some physical disorders. But I kept doing it and they went away. When I started SFQ a month or so ago I had some very electric anger coming up, now it's also down to a healthy level. I see this as a healing process and the symptoms are a sign of energy beginning to move and deep-seated blockages dissolving. Of course I can't be positively sure about your situation, but make sure you're doing the exercises correctly and then keep on doing them at least a few weeks still. If this condition persist, try SFQ it's blissful

I mix cold water with boiled water to create Yin-Yang water It's from my own well and the water quality is ok but it sometimes smells a bit sulfurous.

The "Get a Job, Have a Wife, Make a Child , Get a Life" Thread
King Kabalabhati replied to 宁's topic in General Discussion
I've found myself in a situation where I'm managing three children by myself about 5 days a week. I live in the country with no bathroom or shower facilities, we do have running water though. Their mother spends the weeks in town studying. OK now that I'm in this mess.. I'm trying to make what I can out of it cultivation-wise. On the one hand, it restricts the time I have for practice quite severely. On the other hand, it gives me an everyday setting for my unconditional love practice to happen, under demanding and ungrateful conditions -
Why do you practice?
King Kabalabhati replied to Old Man Contradiction's topic in General Discussion
I found SFQ and am now motivated doing about 1 hour daily.. because it seems to be very effective in healing emotional pain and opening the channels. I wish to be healthy and happy.. Love to spread the healing around.. And of course, whatever skills/experiences/attributes come with prolonged practice is just welcome extra something. -
a case of insanity induced from chia style semen retention....
King Kabalabhati replied to aeon's topic in General Discussion
Yeppp.. Many people seem to only read some parts of the book and skip others as what, not so exciting? Like it's SO COOL to get ENORMOUS POWER that you don't really need to make sure your channels are opened, your emotions balanced, your energy grounded, your diet suitable, etc. etc. etc. When dealing with information like Taoist practices, every word in the book should be read and well digested. Don't go giving half-assed teachings to teenagers, what you should do is show them a proper teacher.. who will probably tell them to wait a few years before starting. -
I was thinking today.. With so many sexually underactive, even clearly needy women around me that I don't approach and simply ask them if they'd like me to fuck them.. Am I being selfish with my energy? Just because they don't fit into my super-narrow cathegory of "ideal women"..

Spiritual empathy! Where is the off switch?!
King Kabalabhati replied to Trogdorf's topic in General Discussion
SFQ or other good system will build up your own magnetic field so you wont be as vulnerable to others' energies. I find, especially now that I've been doing SFQ, that I can more easily tolerate other peoples' confusion and emotions without making them my own. Of course you seem much more sensitive to begin with, so more advanced advice / quidance could be needed. -
In my experience, daily qigong will automatically lessen the desire to smoke or otherwise ingest marijuana. Example: this morning I felt like toking, but instead practiced Spring Forest Qigong. After that I no longer felt like toking. I felt too good

Well, to keep up the cultivation is a good idea anyway.. come what may.. I anticipate great changes too, so great and unpredictable it's almost impossible to prepare. Well anyway, I live in the countryside with wood heating and some land to farm. Learning healing and other arts of survival. Don't know if I want to live in this cold country forever though, but I intend to keep this "base" since it's probably good to have if things get bubbly in babylon..

You may remember me from the thread "Jealousy" where I went through the process of accepting that my wife wanted to fk someone else instead of me.. Well life goes on and, as usual, not without surprises. The ex-wife wants me back and I'm enjoying the freedom to meet other women too, some of which seem to be sexually much more interesting, such as this one: I went to this nice girl's home after the NY party... We are lying on her bed, fully clothed and just talking this and that. I have my arm around her, and suddenly I realise she's clearly sexually aroused, breathing heavily. As I stroke her head she moans. I kiss her cheek and realise she's on the verge of coming. I bite her ear and that's it.. She later described it as a "soul orgasm". It was a new experience for the both of us. She didn't even know it was possible. We both felt energized and inspired for many days after. Now last night she was over at my place. The same thing repeated, almost without any physical stimulation she started to get hot, then I added a bit of the holding/squeezing/kissing the cheek/ and she was on the top of the hill again. Then I went on to playing with her belly button and that sent her to another peak. This time I felt great electricity, as if I was holding a high-voltage power cable. I didn't experience an orgasm, but I felt excited and super-charged. I had no erection but I felt like I could have had at will. We did not move on to genital sex, this was again a very fulfilling experience in itself. It seems that it can really be worthwile to search for a partner with proper chemistry. I've never had an impact like this on any woman, especially my ex-wife. If someone can share their understanding of what's going on and why, I'll appreciate that. Blessings, King K

Yeah tell me about it.. My ex-wife is also showing MUCH more affection and interest towards me nowadays, possibly because the process I went through in the last six months or so has made me more masculine and powerful, meaning less needy hehe.. I consider myself deeply blessed. Let me put it this way: the crisis I experienced, which involved a lot of dealing with anger and other suppressed emotions, has cleared me up somehow, because now it seems I attract the opposite sex much more AND I seem to have some healing capabilities. I interpret it that as these emotions started flowing it made room for more chi in the body. Yesterday I chatted with the girl in question and she said I gave her the most powerful experience EVER.. And she has been travelling and living a quite adventurous life.. Also said that it transformed both her mind and body. She says she cannot return to her previous life with her carnal-minded boyfriend. Her menstruation changed from irregular to normal, it had been irregural for all her life. She said she started to smell the nicotine in her body (she's a smoker) as very unpleasant, and that the smell of her sweat is now different.. Not only this, but even her best friend caught the inspiration and is now planning to leave her beer-swilling, burger-munching boyfriend Then a bit later another female friend of mine was online opening to me about her life, unaware of the previous conversation I'd had, then in the end she said it was healing to talk to me.. Also talked about her menstruation, hehe. Right now my daily practice is mainly isometric exercises and pushups etc. with some MO (while driving, heh), belly breathing, full-lotus training, yoga asanas, chanting OM and inner smile here and there. These practices are kind of scattered and irregular at the moment but I used to do more serious chikung/yoga before the winter, namely Tao Yin for about 1 hour per day. Now I hope to build some muscles before biasing again on more chi-oriented cultivation. I'm slowly getting aquainted with Spring Forest Qigong, I have the DVD/CD/book set for level 1. I don't do total retention but try to keep down the frequency of ejaculation to maybe 1-4 per month. I consider the cultivation of compassion in daily life as the most important. Opening emotional blockages seems to be crucial.

What do the bums think about this guys Taoist "principles"?
King Kabalabhati replied to SarahMoriko's topic in General Discussion
I think the paradox here is to realize the merciless nature of nature itself.. But to operate with compassion, which is a natural energy that we need to stay healthy and live good.. even to live forever. -

SHOCKER! "Avatar" Angers the Pope
King Kabalabhati replied to Encephalon's topic in General Discussion
Yeah if you find yourself getting too serious about it, or emotionally involved in it, it's time to stop hatin' -
And you're thinking there's no reason to see the pope as a representative of a corrupt religion? Personal issues aside I mean, it was the pope who, for instance, blessed the bombs that were dropped on Ethiopian peasants, women and children by the forces of Mussolini.. He probably blessed the poison gas too. And this is just meant to be informational, I'm not angry as I write this. It's just that the Rastaman in me wanted to say FIRE BURN!

OK, thanks these are good.. I'm also planning to teach her to come on command and then to apply sexual hypnosis.. She seems like the perfect subject. Oh did I tell you she's an acrobat
-
Well yeah, to be honest I only started this thread to brag about it I'm thinking to take a more Yang approach to this, meaning I intend to control the situation in every way to further increase her responsiveness and pleasure. I think I already have enough rapport with her to send her to the moon The downside is that she will be leaving the country soon.. Don't know when she'll be back.. But I'm quite certain she WILL be back, hahaha I'm not in love with her, like I don't really want to be, but this kind of healing love combination can be a once-in-a-lifetime find.. She seems to agree, and says it's next to impossible for her to go back to the world of "ordinary" sexuality. I sure hope to be able to connect with her again. It's soooo energizing.
