why I left Healing Tao/Universal Tao long ago

There's no need to follow a madman's path.. But there may be something to learn from him. Besides, I think most people seem more mad than this guy, believing in things that don't exist. At least his delusions are a bit interesting in their eccentricity (is that how you pronounce it?) -

It's good that people share experiences and opinions such as this. It shows everybody that things aren't black and white. But Chia is very understandably criticised a lot since he's been very popular and successful in his area, selling huge numbers and probably making a lot of money. Many people also feel that since he's so popular there's got to be something wrong with his stuff. And probably there is something wrong since there's so much bad mouth on him. But it doesn't mean the same as "fake", it simply means he is also human and may have been trying to bite more than he can chew, or simply has been inaccurate in translating these traditions. Still there's a lot of good stuff in his books, I have experienced that and obviously many others too. I can't speak about the more advanced methods though, that could be where his assumed "fakeness" lies. -

Rumors... Please don't gimme any more of them. Even if it was true, life can bring surprises even for a master. Maybe he didn't have time for his relationship while teaching all the aspiring masters. Or then it's simply low-end shit talk. Stick with what you know with your arguments, this kind of gossip is only confusing things. BTW I'm not a Chia fanatic, I'm going to place an order on the book by Reid for more perspective. -

So mr. Winn is talking to people from Atlantis? His must be a powerful technique. And to try to badmouth somebody's methods with gossip like this is not very advanced I might say. I don't use every technique from every book by Chia. I try to go by feel. If I'm feeling too fiery I don't do Scrotal compression or Power Lock. Instead I do Tao Yin which is very balancing. This is something every practicioner should be aware of, to listen to their body and not just obey instructions. Any harm you do to yourself YOU do to YOURSELF. It's not the tools that hurt but the fools get hurt. But I'm thankful for all views, no matter how aggressive, there's usually something to learn. -

I wouldn't bash Chia either simply because I feel he's helped me save my marriage, free myself and heal myself. Now how cool is that? Still I'm thankful that you've made me a bit cautious.. I's healthy. -

There's a huge social pressure towards taking vaccines.. Very few ever question. If you don't take them you're easily treated like a loonie or a traitor. And they're makin SO MUCH MONEY using the people's fear as a marketing weapon. This Babylon system really sucks blood. -
I replied, then read your post again realised I had nothing to add.. love and respect.

I think Zhuo put it really well and it resonated. The heart can see these things more purely than the analytic brain, which will always find justification for any act of violence. Still, even if you've committed such murder, life must go on and hopefully we learn as we progress.

This is probably just repeating the same ideas with different terms and approach but still.. This is how I see it. Brutally honest, long-term relationships seem to bring up this kind of "demons" very effectively if there is a lot of communication between the couple. To cure these problems, a lot of GOOD communication is needed. Now when a person starts to now themselves and being brutally honest, the same can happen within one's self.. The world and the society has created fragments within each of us, disconnected the direct connection between mind and body. As the body starts relaxing within and you re-establish healthy communication between your mind, soul and body, deep tensions relieve, the energies that start moving create emotional illusions that seem very real and frightening sometimes. They have been suppressed because there has been no open channel for them, no place to go. It's a bit like having a knot in your intestines open up after years of constipation It's good to remember that they don't any longer have to be a part of you, simply letting them go when they're ready to go. Dissolving is one way to put it, but it almost sounds too active. Just doing the exercises that strengthen the communication between mind and body should eventually let everything flow effortlessly, with all the other benefits of being whole. If you get one (or even more) sleepless night because of deep healing, just think of it as a small price to pay for your wholeness. The Inner Smile is a tool that many people perhaps overlook because of its simplicity and seemingly unintelligent approach. Still, to smile lovingly at your organs that are in fact storehouses and manufacturers for many negative feelings, is to build bridges of communication between your mind and them and thus to integrate your being. Of course it's just a part of the whole healing and there are, thank God, many tools available.

Sexual Energy and Creativity
King Kabalabhati replied to curiouswanderer's topic in General Discussion
Smile lovingly at your genitals, smile compassionately at your desire for sex, SMILE AT SEX. This is powerful. -
I would not see the point in increasing one's energy and capacity if not for the purpose of increasing virtue. The reason I started doing Taoist exercises was that I wasn't able to be as good a person to my wife&kids (and others too) as I thought I should. A path like this might lead to a higher level, but I won't be dissapointed if it simply leads to living a more harmonious "regular" life. So to commit to practice for some egoistic purpose of enlightenment to me seems like a waste. And as I've understood the increased energy, health and capacity is bound to make one virtous after some time, otherwise mental problems will occur. This might lead to one becoming a "black magician" and is hardly something I would wish for anyone. This is not to say virtuous means the same as a familyman/woman, but a person with sincere and pure intentions. And I should add that I don't really know shit about this, just a gut feeling

OK now I been very interested in Tao and Ayurveda these last 7 months or so, with a dozen books mainly by Mantak Chia and Vasant Lad under study. Before this I went to a Pranayama-retreat and got my first taste of esoteric yoga. As a Rastafarian I appreciate Tao and Ayurveda since they are more like science than religion, dealing with realities of life in a observing and dynamic way, giving me information I need to get closer to fulfilling my potential as a human being. I do some hatha yoga, some sexual Tao, some Microcosmic meditation, some Tao Yin and some pranayama, a little of each. I try to keep my diet as Ayurvedic as possible, using also the insight from the Tao nutrition knowledge. I'm vegeterian, because I don't like the killing of animals, I think it's killing us.. Also meat is harder to digest so it is tamasic, meaning it tends to make us horny and lower the consciousness, causing confusion. My aim is to be able to meditate daily even with my three kids and wife and all these distractions like this forum;) It's very important for my (and thus my family's) well-being and balancing my energies, especially since my virility is high and my queen is not a very sexually hungry person.. Poor me But in fact I'm doing all right since I'm blessed with the help of these cooling and rooting exercises. It did get very hard at some point before this light of wisdom started to shine. Still gets tricky at times..Life's like that. I'm a singer too, so this kind of meditation and exercise give me strength of performance and aids in creativity since I'm more relaxed. Also when I do late evening shows and sometimes many in a row it's good to have the knowledge to balance my accumulated energy of movement (vata). So let's see if we get some good reasoning going, though I have lately been very drawn to the Taoist philosophy of not valuing philosophies so much and rather concentrating on theory and practice. Jah Love and Blessings, King Kabalabhati

An elder yogi I know and respect introduced himself in a conference of yogis, after saying his name: "30 years of Yoga basics". So don't hurry to advance, the most basic exercises are the most foundational ones. I consider MO a safe thing to do and ok for beginners (like me), but as with all exercise, there should be other, grounding things in life. You know, everyday life. That's also where you will notice if any progress happens. If there's no increased virtue, even with some time passing, you know you been doing the wrong exercices or in the wrong way, or with a wrong attitude.. The goal at this point should IMO be to increase your capacity for love and compassion. You need a fit body and nervous system for that. Tai chi (or Tao Yin) is very good if you want to live a better life in general since it's very soothing and balancing. At the beginner/intermediate level there's no need to talk about enlightenment or "reaching the goal". Just do some good exercise and love the relaxation and energetic feeling you get from it. And love yourself, not just your person but also your organs, smile to them and comfort them and they will love you back. For many it may be easier to learn to save the seed altogether than to just limit the amount of ejaculations. For some it may be the opposite. Blessings for your journey, King K

Who Is the Lord/God in the Tao Te Ching?
King Kabalabhati replied to Erdrickgr's topic in General Discussion
The way I've understood, behind the word "God" in Tao as well as in some other beliefs there is the black emptiness of the womb from which all things spring forth. In most religions there are godheads like the three men in Tao but they are simply representing this black emptiness which is maybe too scary for the people to worship as such -
Although there are many methods, there is only one truth.
King Kabalabhati replied to Mal's topic in General Discussion
It's also good to be aware that you might be standing on total emptiness. Now shut up (the computer) and do your practice. -
Drugs! Turn on, tune in, drop out...
King Kabalabhati replied to Lucky7Strikes's topic in General Discussion
Curiously enough, once I started doing Tao Yin exercise coupled with Inner Smile, I have experienced less and less desire to smoke marijuana. All summer long I've smoked daily, now all of a sudden it's my second smokeless day in a row and the thought of quitting altogether, except maybe for occasional ceremonial (incense) and medicinal (nausea, heavy flu) use, is firmly planted in my mind. I understand this is because I've been smiling lovingly to my liver and inhaling golden light into my lungs.. I love my organs now, and I've been comforting them and giving promises of no more abuse, not even slight, because if they feel rejected, I'm gonna feel rejected too. Now I feel a bit stupid to take in anything even mildly toxic, such as ganja. The same thing applies to coffee, which used to be my every-other-day kid of habit. I cannot be certain about how I'm gonna feel in the future, but now I feel solid and determined. Ayurveda states that adding calamus root to marijuana completely neutralizes its toxic effects, so if I do smoke one day, it will be in the mix. I want to state that these exercises can be transforming and extremely healthy. Giving conscious love to your heart and other organs can create a new kind of compassion towards your entire earthly being. Imagine, you can comfort your own heart and need no one or nothing to do it for you. This is a gift from the Dao. I Give thanks. -
You can rest assured many of those sayings are simply utterances (perhaps from enlightened beings) that describe a feeling or thought that cannot be described, at least in English Leave excess philosophy, seek theory and practice so maybe you can one day throw a new "deep" one-liner yourself

how to prevent nocturnal emissions?
King Kabalabhati replied to christoff's topic in General Discussion
I would add that if you try to block lustful thoughts from your mind you are blocking the energy in your body, which will cause problems. The only way to deal with lust is to transform it to bliss. The same energy can be very productive and smoothly flowing once channeled in the right direction, which is UP. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH FEELING HORNY. USE THAT FEELING FOR HIGHER THINGS. One thing more.. nutrition. Especially when beginning semen retention you should definitely stop eating meat, fish, cheese, garlic, mushrooms, onions, red chillies and everything that's hard to digest. White sugar can also be a stimulant. Don't eat too much, rather too little, since everything that puts load on your intestines can make you oversexed. Seek knowledge on the subject, there's a lot of holistic information available. Taoism knows these things, Ayurveda knows these things. Life is holistic, it's not only about the meditation technique you're using or the master you go to. DONT BE AFRAID OF YOUR SEXUAL ENERGY. IT'S YOUR FRIEND BELIEVE ME. -
how to prevent nocturnal emissions?
King Kabalabhati replied to christoff's topic in General Discussion
Despite all the knocking on Master Chia's methods here I have to state that turning to his books have been one of the best things that have happened to me in the recent times. The technical advise and the mental support I've got from him (through these books) has been a key thing in learning semen retention and I have no negative things to say about them. Only if youre too hot already you shouldn't maybe be doing the excercises that work with heated sexual energy. The cool draw I find a nice and, yes, cooling method. OF COURSE it's not always so simple when dealing with humans who are kinda complicated by nature. Still if you follow the instructions you'll probably be safe. Master Chia gets my respect since he's the one who's helped me through the initial hardships of semen retention and nowadays I have no nocturnal emissions nor any need to masturbate. It is advisable to do some type of more physical yoga and perhaps Tao Yin to support your progress. If you are not relaxed, your channels are not open to take the new-found extra energy that will flow from the testes and some complications may occur. Inner Smile and breathing in golden light should be a good way to relax, as well as gentle jogging. Semen retention should be a natural step in one's spiritual progress and to try to do it too early might be problematic. I wouldn't say it stunts one's progress though, since it's all EDUCATION. If you experience unpleasantness, well, there's usually ways to cure the problems, Chia also gives some methods of clearing the blocked energy. Finally I would say that it's possible these practises are harmful to some, but hey, life itself is very harmful for some. -
In Your Humble Opinion - What three things should people on this board do/try?
King Kabalabhati replied to thelerner's topic in General Discussion
OK, my three. 1. Read and digest well at least three books on Ayurvedic and/or Tao holistic self-healing. 2. Make your mind up to be persistent in healing yourself, allowing time for the process to take place. 3. Try to help others achieve good health. Good health being both the key to peace and prosperity on the earthly plane and the trampoline which can spring you (and the whole world) up to higher spiritual heights. -
Sexual Energy and Creativity
King Kabalabhati replied to curiouswanderer's topic in General Discussion
I've never heard about a spiritual practice that would involve beating off, although there's a lot crazier things in the world.. Some of them drink their own sperm I've heard. This I believe wastes a lot of energy through digestion and does sound a bit too kinky. The Taoist and other esoteric techniques simply involve massaging the penis until the verge of the orgasm, after which the stimulated testicle energy is brought upwards the spine, into the brain and from there collected in the navel to avoin overheating the brain. I've been cultivating the seed for half a year with some "accidents" on the way (it's not easy in the beginning, especially with a woman). I've noticed I don't long for the feeling of ejaculation at all anymore, rather I resent it. BTW, I don't believe this "it's all about the intention"-talk. It's not. It's about energy and laws of nature. Intention is crucial but if you're ignorant, then you end up hurting yourself or somebody else no matter how good your intentions. So whatever you're dealing with, be sure to keep yourself open and educated about it. -
IF you're feeling uncomfortably "energetic" then it is suggested that you focus on the navel tan tien, which is the main storage of energy in the body, it can handle a lot of energy that might feel too hype in the head or the heart. But it doesn't really sound like you need to change the situation, just flow with it and let tears cleanse your system, it happens to me too sometimes when deeply relaxed. A couple of days ago I felt like there was also "tears" or a kind of crying movement coming through my third eye, an experience I've never had before. Also the movement was very strong, as if it was caused by deep grief but when it burst out it was simply relieving. Cry-babies probably live longer and better, cowboys die by the bullet.. with dry eyes.
