Suppression of Energy Knowledge
King Kabalabhati replied to Trash Filter's topic in General Discussion
TF wrote:"This direction IS my life (and probably for many others here), and can be quite difficult having family needs, money needs etc." Speaking of family and cultivating.. (sorry here I go again) I made a decision to become a father at young age, 21 years. Now at 30 my freedom and energy is slowly increasing and I can devote more time to Qigong and meditation. I'm not sure whether I would be as disciplined and determined as I am now had I not the experience of my energy crashing and my personal time and freedom being down to zero for years. My friends and colleagues who are still single are somewhat interested in spiritual work but none of them is practicing seriously as I am. Most of them have a lot of time to drink, party and socialise. I have time for family, qigong and work, and that's about it. I remember I wasn't so keen on doing anything very disciplined and regular before my crisis. The URGENCY of chi development and spiritual progress became apparent to me through the trials of being a father. It showed me the limits of my capacity and put me on the path of expansion. -
I'm also interested, I want to see if he really moves as good as he's been telling us

First and foremost fasting is a way to cleanse the body of toxins. -

It's probably been exaggerated, who could commit such brutal self punishment? I mean, no food for days.. and not even chocolate? -
From this...to this...and finishing here.

As a father of three I would like to point out that the innocent child is not always looking at the world through bright shiny eyes.. The perception (and impression) of an infant is constantly affected by feelings of hunger, pain, insecurity and discomfort from the very start. Naturally a sage must go beyond that, deeper into the original existence. -

LOL at "I like golfing too" -
And now that we went reggae, I think these have some spiritual substance or at least he's faking it well:

You won't notice it till it starts covering so much area that you get bigger blank spots that your brain has a harder time filling in, but it still does. If you don't burn a spot too badly it can heal. Remember, your lens is like a magnifying glass. " Does this happen if you gaze at the sun when it is down on the horizon, rising or setting? I have been somewhat reserved towards this technique for the reasons you mentioned.

What's so difficult to get here? 3bob suggests that the Bible verse he mentions describes Jesus as seen by st John in a 3rd eye vision.

I would try Chunyi Lin or one of his master healers along with SFQ or other simple and gentle qi work, also emotional processes need to take place. Oh yeah Michael Lomax is supposed to be very good at it too, he is frequenting this site. Many healers do phone healing which can be just as effective as face-to face. Even if you take surgery it could be a great idea to consult a reputable energy healer.

I know a few of them from Ayurveda and they're all cooling by nature. Maybe take heating herbs like dry ginger to counteract?

We are exploiting our bodies in every way. They are impermanent vessels that can and have to be used creatively. Opening the third eye is only a natural thing that happens as sufficient spiritual energy is cultivated. Violent attempts to "open the 3rd eye" are nothing but too much energy/psychoactive substances pumped in the brain in the hopes of supernatural powers but far from real opening of any sort. Mental instability will be aggravated by this kind of exploitation.

This morning my 4-year old boy started to come down with a fever and had ache in the back. I sat next to him lying on the couch with his eyes closed and did some opening of the MCO or "small universe" for him, as we are taught in SFQ. Many times as my hand moved over his neck he made a small movement, like a twitch, and a little utterance. Then he fell asleep. Later on he awoke and was feeling worse again. I made him carrot juice and blessed it in my mind in the name of my master, along with a message for head channels to open, sinuses open, throat open, lungs open.. and, in accordance to what I'd read from the SFQ level 2 manual (that colds are associated with blockages in the feet), I also put in a strong message "foot channels open". My son drank the juice. After a while he was already feeling much better and then I heard him shout: "Daddy! My feet are sparking!" Then after a while he said: "My legs feel cold but it feels good!" and he rubbed his legs. After that he hasn't been tired or had any fever, and at this moment he is happily playing with his sisters. Soon they will get their christmas presents. Happy Christmas everybody!

Nice Xmas healing experience
King Kabalabhati replied to King Kabalabhati's topic in General Discussion
Thank you. Yes, Chunyi Lin is my master, but the one master I was calling upon is the one whose birthday we're celebrating Their energy does feel very similar.. as if they're one and the same.. as they are. -
Merry Christmas.....

Info on side effects from incorrect Qigong practice
King Kabalabhati replied to Immortal4life's topic in General Discussion
Some people actually make it sound as though it were better not to do any Qigong at all if you don't have a teacher around. That is simply not true. There are systems on the market that are suitable for home study. -
Info on side effects from incorrect Qigong practice
King Kabalabhati replied to Immortal4life's topic in General Discussion
Yeah for most people any effective Qigong is bound to produce "side effects". That is the healing process taking place. And those symptoms may pass very quickly or they may take a while. So you persist with the practice. Once the symptoms are gone you'll know the blockage is gone too. -
The best method of Jing retention that I have found

Weelll I admit this is just something I said in relation to this thread, meaning it's what I got out of these books we're talking about. Other than that I will never really know.. -
The best method of Jing retention that I have found
King Kabalabhati replied to Ten Thousand Methods's topic in General Discussion
What the doctors of old say is that spending too much post-natal Jing depletes the pre-natal stuff. Jing can also be depleted by stress and emotional outbursts, all sorts of "big spending" and can be somewhat replenished with Jing-containing foods and herbs. The 3 gates should work about the same for a girl, though you don't really lose much essence during sex but during menstruation (this will be less if you're in good shape down there) and you can lose Qi in case your muscles get loose from not using them enough, which is common with elder women. In his book, Daniel Reid points straight at Mantak and Maneewan Chia's book "Cultivating Female Sexual Energy". -
The best method of Jing retention that I have found
King Kabalabhati replied to Ten Thousand Methods's topic in General Discussion
I agree this is a well-written and informative book. However.. Chia does emphasize the meaning of PC and anal muscles in retention. His system does cover drawing Jing through the MCO into the brain and down into the lower dantien. Maybe you're referring to a different book, I've read "Cultivating sexual energy". Reid gives a method that is much less detailed. He suggests you use the muscles way before approaching the brink of ejaculation. I am yet to experience much benefit from either of these practices, but I think strengthening your lower parts is never a bad idea and for some of us these methods may take a lot of time to start working. I make love to my wife about once a week due to practical arrangements and usually I just let go and ejaculate. I'm a bit of a hair-trigger kind of guy most of the time so we used to have problems with it before. Nowadays it's no problem since she has developed the ability to orgasm as soon as I enter her We're usually pretty tired form our work and kids anyway so it's good to get some sleep and not make love for hours like Reid and Chia suggest. BTW she trains with the Jade egg and takes the ayurvedic herb Shatavari (which translates: "she who has a hundred lovers" ) -
Amen indeed

Yep, right now, after an hour of SFQ I'm going through my 30 minutes retention phase.. But do it much longer and it will surely hurt you
