I was also raised in Christianity - but now a Buddhist- which is not a religion. I see religions as only having one root cause - WAR - which I am against. WAR is Rich man's gain for Poor man's pain. It is both that simple and that Insaine. The religion of Christianity was begun 300 years after the alleged existance - for War. It was used by the Emperor Constantine to give soldiers a thinking that they will survive with a thinking of honor etc... http://www.roman-empire.net/decline/constantine-index.html The Emperor and his mother are the first 2 saints of Catholocism church. Go figure. According to this website: http://www.roman-empire.net/decline/constantine-index.html he was also the beginnings of the Holy Crusade wars with Iran (Persia)- and the decline of Rome. - Same as is happening Today.

Three pure ones are those that must be kept pure in order to evolve within this life EG: Breath, Body and Mind (Meditation) If you are in China, then you will know that China is built on a philosophical foundation - not the religious supersticion that was enforced by governments in the west as a controll over the people. The thinking of religion in China is practiced by some - but mainly it is pitied as a mental weakness for wishful thinking akin to gambling. As such - the word 'god' points more toward 'natural law' than a supernatural, mythical person (a superman), and can be substituted for it. As in the 'god' of gravity, the god of meditation (the mind), the god of the body - etc...

An interesting find when I went searching for what a Purine was and did in our body - it points to a diet with MSG And/Or too much meat in it as the source of Arthritus. Foods that contain purines Because uric acid is formed from the breakdown of purines, low-purine diets are often used to help treat conditions like gout in which excessive uric acid is deposited in the tissues of the body. The average daily diet for an adult in the U.S. contains approximately 600-1,000 milligrams of purines. Uric acid levels in the blood and other parts of the body can become too high, however, under a variety of circumstances. Since our kidneys are responsible for helping keep blood levels of uric acid balanced, kidney problems can lead to excessive accumulation of uric acid in various parts of the body. Excessive breakdown of cells can also cause uric acid build-up. When uric acid accumulates, uric acid crystals (called monosodium urate crystals) can become deposited in our tendons, joints, kidneys, and other organs. This accumulation of uric acid crystals is called gouty arthritis, or simply "gout." http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=george&dbid=51

Simple & direct - Point being Celebacy - the retention of Stem cells.

One point that seems to be missed is that T5T was only a response to an original book: The Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth by Peter Kelder Where it does make the claims of lengthening lifespan etc whereas T5T is more concerned with Yoga ... For those that don't read so well - the secret is exercise, meditation and celibacy - And I would think that diet and pure water would help more than a little. (Pure water fell from the sky, for millions of years, and was called rain.) Today's water is full of heavy metals - even city water comes from iron pipes leading into copper pipes and in some cases still lead pipes - whereas the Chloronated water - with an acid PH reacts with the metals to make them soluable - just in time for your body... My concept of how the life extension works is that Celibacy helps to conserve sperm - which in reality are our body's most powerful embryonic stem cells - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embryonic_stem_cell Embryonic stem cells are distinguished by two distinctive properties: their pluripotency and their capability to self-renew themselves indefinitely. and at the same time stops us from a process that is very akin to wounding ourselves as the sperm are body tissue that must be regenerated just as a wound must heal... ( but don't it hurt sooo good! ) Download the book free from here - from what appears to be India: http://www.kundaliniawakeningsystems1.com/downloads/ancient_secret_of_the_fountain_of_youth_peter_kelder.pdf

I began to get results in the first few weeks - But... I had been practicing T5T minus the Kundalini exercises and not being Celebate for about 30 years without knowing that what I was practicing was T5T- I just tought that I was doing Hatha Yoga and meditation (Savanasa) The first results of being celebate were that my hair and fingernails grew really fast and still are. The second was that my Qi picked up drasticaly which shot my kundalini almost through the roof. I had been being held up on the throat chakra and now I'm borderline between the crown and aura. My opening the Chakras now begin at the throat whereas before my ability to pass the Chakras ended at my throat Chakra... Also - I went to Taiwan recently and picked up a baseball sized clear crystal that was cut out of a Geode and am meditating & sleeping under it Maybe it is my own wishing that the crystal is helping - but I am experiencing a strong growth in my meditation after the last few years of being stagnant... Orgasims are nice - but the end results are like wounding yourself. The key to understanding all is in knowing that Bodily tissue that is expelled in the form of sperm, that must be replaced, is literaly made from Stem cells: http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/07/08/2619961.htm I'm not going 100% celebate but about 75%.

The poetry is beautiful - Herein lay the ugly defining: All is contained within the ancient Chinese character for Tao: as compared to the modern one: 道 <= the left area is a drawing of a foot, the center is an eye, the upper is a path, the few ticks, along the top, are signs of things happaning along the Way. It is the picture of Change, captured in an instant. Compared to the ancient character for change in movement pointing to 'Changes within timing' defined through the drawing: The word/sounds of Ba-Gua mean in Chinese literaly: '8 Language' or Language of Eight: As such - Tao is largely about harmony within timing.

Hi - from a guy born just outside of Kings Mountain - but in China now- I've been studying meditation and the Tao for about 30+ years and I tend to agree with not having preconceived Ideas. The simplest additions have at times created the greatest changes whereas the #1, #2, & #3 is to practice, practice, practice. Who would have thought Breath could do so much - and even no thoughts would do so much more? And even exercising before meditation was a key to even more doors. Here's a bit of a summation of my experiences over time that can give you something to play with until you get into the real soup. The first page was my beginning in being taught, at 17 years old, from a yoga master from India. It takes between 3 and 6 months of nightly practice. (100 days) http://www.thetaobums.com/index.php?/topic/11802-awakening-psychic-abilities/page__st__120 "Jade Emperor's Mind Seal Classic 1. The Supreme Medicine has three distinctions: Ching (essence), Qi (vitality) and Shen (spirit), which are elusive and obscure. 2. Keep to nonbeing, yet hold on to being and perfection is yours in an instant. 3. When distant winds blend together, in one hundred days of spiritual work And morning recitation to the Shang Ti, Then in one year you will soar as an immortal. 4. The sages awaken through self-cultivation; Deep, profound, their practices require great effort. 5. Fulfilling vows illumines the Heavens. 6. Breathing nourishes youthfulness. 7. Departing from the Mysterious, entering the female. It appears to have perished, yet appears to exist. Unmoveable, it's orgin is mysterious. 8. Each person has Ching. The Shen unites with the Ching, The Shen unites with the Qi, The breath then unites with the true nature, These terms appear to be fanciful exaggerations. 9. The Shen is capable of entering stone; The Shen is capable of physical flight. Entering water it is not drowned; Entering fire it is not burned. 10. The Shen depends on life form; The Ching depends on sufficient Qi. If these are neither depleted nor injured the result will be youthfulness and longevity. 11. These three distinctions have one principle, Yet so subtle it cannot be heard. 12. Their meeting results in existence, their parting results in nonexistence. 13. The seven apertures interpenetrate and each emits wisdom light. 14. The sacred sun and sacred moon Illumuniate the Golden Court. One attainment is eternal attainment. 15. The body will naturally become weightless. When the supreme harmony is replete, the bone fragments become like winter jade. 16. Acquiring the Elixir results in immortality, not acquiring it results in extinction. 17. The Elixir is within yourself, It is not white and not green. 18. Recite and hold ten thousand times. These are the subtle principles of self-illumination. (Lu Szu-hsing's appended verses) 19. The two images of the dragon and tiger are unified through Qi; Chaos blending as One. 20. It is not possible to attain the eternal just through invocations. 21. The Elixir is called Green Dragon and White Tiger; The Elixir is in the nature of no-nature, Emptiness of nonemptiness. 22. Even if you are unable to make use of the substance, You can certainly make use of the function. 23. Frequently both the substance and conditions for the substance appear together, although these are not always percieved as identical. 24. The ancients said, "the term *emptiness* embraces the entire teaching." * Transliterated by Stuart Olson" In China, I have found a carved river rock of the White tiger with 2 Green Dragons on either side. The White tiger is the mind, the 2 Dragons are body and breath. Between the 3, they hold the symbol of the Tao. In China almost all great monestaries, dedicated to meditation, are located in the mountains - they have winding trails leading up to them with many places to stop, rest & meditate along the WAY. My personal favorite is by flowing water.

Does it seem you have a problem with creativity? As it Does seem you prefer a crystaline objectivity? ...Creativity a maleable original unsubstance New 2u? Objectivity, the sharp structured dart designed penetrate in a warlike spike=> ...Screw the objective I am here this life to learn aYes As I pass through my incarnations in every race. Valuing only what I can carry to new next place. Too much of either, spoils the either Could it be- that balance is a key to harmony?

The Yoga of Concentration and Meditation for Opening The 3rd Eye Chakra
~jK~ posted a topic in General Discussion
The Yoga of Concentration and Meditation for Opening The 3rd Eye Chakra This simple to do technique seems to be having very great possibilities for levels of development. The technique of closing one nostril with your finger, and breathing rhythmically through the other nostril, in yoga, is named Shambhi Mudra AKA: shambhavi mudra (it has various spellings - albeit with the same phonics) was originally designed to focus concentration for meditation with the original intent of awakening the 3rd eye of physic abilities. Hypnosis is very akin to Meditation. Hypnosis, is a beginning point that is later evolved into meditation to open the mental channels, often has more success than the drugs commonly used on a psychiatric patient, with none of the side effects. The Shambhi Mudra technique, will give an edge in achieving the concentration level needed for both Hypnosis and Meditation. References http://en.mimi.hu/yoga/shambhavi.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajna Some do it by placing a plug in the right nostril whe lying down and practicing the Savasana position. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savasana A website that will teach Hypnosis through both MP3 and written literature applications. Caution as 50% of it is designed to use the need of sex, as well as binural suggestions, as a key for opening the mind to sugestions. With Sex being one of the primal drives of evolution - this is a very powerful method. http://www.pleasureamplifier.info/ -
