I have been doing Yi Jin Jing lately and i decided to see how it would fare with stopping ejaculation, since, well.. i've tried pretty much everything and have been down the agonizingly painful route of Mantak Chia. In YJJ you relax and then you tense using the mind will to direct the Qi/Jing. So i figure, ok, sounds practical, it should work for aroused Jing too. So get yourself hot, and as you feel the orgasmic energy increasing, RELAX and breathe in (regular breathing, not reverse), then just as in YJJ, tense out into your arms with your palms out or fingers pointing away directing the sexual energy to the whichever part you desire. And i'm telling you, it works like MAGIC - BAM it's gone, and you get very tingly wherever you sent the Jing, just make sure to bring it all back to the Tan Tien once you're done. It's almost like a brute force Yi Jin Jing, but because you don't tense the perineum or anything around the sexual region you don't get adverse physical effects and the energy flowing around the body feels quite pleasant and energizing. Try it ; ) PS: Keep your mind clean while you do it, that is to say don't get to perverted and if you can don't think of anything sexual at all. Some men can do this, i feel like this will give the sexual energy a purer characteristic.

Trunk-san. Have you ever wondered how a person with amputated legs and arms circulates Qi in the hand/leg meridians? Do you think the meridian system in the limbs continues to exist regardless of the physical dislocation, like a ghost system almost? I have often pondered this.
-
If i tried this technique with only mental tensing that shizzle would shoot right out my wizzle. It seems that when you tense physically on the outbreath the Qi really responds. If i didn't do this i'd never be able to control that aroused Jing, it will go where it likes, and we know where... I definitely have to tense muscularly. The same way i tense during YJJ. I know there is some debate as to whether you tense with the mind only or with the muscles, but this is the same difference between people who practice reverse breathing and regular breathing to stoke the fire in the dan tien and those who do not control the breath and use only the mind to concentrate the will on the DT. I wouldn't say one is worse than the other, but for those who do not yet have the mind-will strength of an uber-cultivator physical techniques help achieve the same results and in most cases faster too. The Qi has a strong relationship to the blood, which is why physical techniques help concentrate Qi, because blood concentrates in the muscles under pressure and the Qi follows. I personally tense physically and mentally on my YJJ. Relax inhale, belly out. Exhale belly in + mind directing Qi to hands/palms as you do the Damo forms.

I learnt it from the Qi Gong Institute's correspondence program videos. The idea came very naturally, it just made perfect sense because in YJJ you send the tranquil Qi/Jing out into the arms, so i figure why not just send the aroused Jing from the sexual region into the arms and body in the same way. The practice was mind-blowingly effective, it is as if the energy from the sexual area couldn't WAIT to experience another outlet, it was almost excited to have the mind direct it elsewhere other than out the penis and it complied very cooperatively. I got a sensation of sucking water up the tailbone and spine and then turning into tingles when it reached the arms and palms. I haven't recorded any negative side effects yet and i don't expect to, because i think this is a very common practice in Tantra too, i guess my brain just needed to connect something unfamiliar (the energy) to something familiar (YJJ) and fuse them together, now it's seamless and it's helping me train the mind to direct the energy better AND also making my YJJ practice more effective because i can recognize the personality of the energy now strengthening my relationship with it. It's not a ground breaking discovery, but it's new for me and the only thing that has worked so far. I think all those other systems that make you tense anything or everything around the sexual region are all BAD. It's about relaxing that area so the Jing can flow away from it and tensing or contracting another area in the body together with the mind will to direct the Qi there. If you tense the pumps around the sexual region all that aroused energy gets trapped and sort of imploded which can cause damage to the perineum area (this is what i experienced before) and believe me the pain there after is excruciating. But if you relax, then the energy can flow either way, out of the penis or up the center or up the back, but because you're also relaxing you force the ejaculatory muscles to stop, so no ejaculation and the energy can now freely be directed up into the body using the tensing and relaxation techniques taught in YJJ with the arms.

In my experience, suffering is a form of education or enlightenment for the soul on it's course to spiritual maturity which prepares the mind for realization. Suffering is the reason we stop for a moment and ask "why" and is this real, is there more... "why?". If life was filled with only good things, we would never stop to ask "why". Why what? Why is life so good, why am i so rich? why do i get everything i want? - I doubt it. No. Suffering is the catalyst. When everything is going great and it's rainbows and flowers, nobody asks asks "why am i deserving so much good", "why is my car so nice", 'why are my friends so great", 'why is my wife so hot". "why is my salary so high". It's all good then. But the moment something bad happens, it's... "why me", "how did i deserve this" etc. We need to learn to treat the BAD the same way we treat the GOOD. It is our karma. Suffering is the prerequisite to wisdom and wisdom to spiritual growth. If you are experiencing suffering it is your karma and you have been blessed by this. You have to look at the big picture. You are being tempered by the Tao to provide you with the mind needed to begin your realization, the mind that can look past the material and into the heavens. There is always a way out of trouble, although often obscure to us. You can make it. Try to make it. That is the most important thing. The worst that can happen is that you die trying, but that is a most honorable passing and you will surely be rewarded for your perseverance in your next life. From my personal insights into the universe during my meditations, i can tell you that LIFE and LIVING has no purpose at all, it is simply infinite infinity... infinitely. Everything is connected and you exist everywhere in all your potential and possibility right now. All of you, everywhere in time and space exists now. Infinite variations of you exist in infinite realities in an unawakened state, each experiencing their own reality independently. We are stuck in this endless loop and enlightenment is the only way to understand that reality is false and only a formulation of personal experience. So if i had to make a hierarchy id say. NOTHING/POINTLESS/VOID >> ENLIGHTENMENT >> REGULAR LIFE So if you really want something to pin on as a goal in life, it should be attaining enlightenment. If there is a purpose to regular life, it is... enlightenment. Do what you can to survive, life is very hard and it is full of suffering. You are not alone. Be honorable, be loving, be compassionate and keep trying no matter what. Death is not an escape just a rest button to start the suffering all over again, so you have to keep trying no matter what until your last breath like that rat.

All i can tell you is that the other methods i've tried hurt, hurt like fuck and hurt like hell + damage that had to be healed. When i do it this way though like with Yi Jin Jing, it actually feels very good. So: A: Arouse your Jing until you can feel it B: Relax, breathe in deeply, belly out. C: Exhale, belly in and Tense your arms in any of the Yi Jin Jing forms using the mind-will-heart to direct the Qi/Jing. D: Repeat. E: To finish, again use the mind to bring it all back from the appendages to the LDT, 36 clock, 24/36 counter.

All roads lead to rome so why so different?
effilang replied to mewtwo's topic in General Discussion
Yes, but this is only valid to someone who is already there and has the wisdom and psychic development to understand what that means, because they can see it, but to a normal human being such as ourselves, who are not developed to see that, it makes no sense. Technically in our own unenlightened reality, that which makes sense to the sages is empty to us. I understand it, because in an existence of infinite time and space, between being where you are and being when you are there is essentially no difference since the concept of time is invalid, so all realities and all potential possibilities all exist simultanaeously. So we can understand a concept ourselves or at least formulate a personal conception out of raw data: such as "we are already that and there", but until we are cultivated enough spiritually and have unlocked our brains to that level of perception, the real essence of that meanings original state would be millenia away from our actually understanding it. -

effilang replied to mewtwo's topic in General Discussion
lol, no offense Steve, but why exactly is that great? Isn't he just pointing out the obvious. Like if i were to say 3 plus 2 is five, but 2 plus 3 is also five, would that be great? It just seems like someone looking at something and pointing out the obvious. What am i missing? -
All roads lead to rome so why so different?
effilang replied to mewtwo's topic in General Discussion
Because the road to Rome is covered in broken glass. One guy goes it barefoot. One guy wears shoes. Another guy rides a bike. Another guy drives a tank. Someone else takes a plane. Others don't even want to go to Rome, they are just taking someone there, but still end up there because of it. There is more than one way to skin a cat. There are infinite ways through which you can meditate to achieve your spiritual goals. -
I finally understood this week that you get from life what you deserve, only when you pursue life. That is to say you may have thousands of benefits to reap from your karma, but even karma ironically enough is bound by the laws of our society. You have to place yourself outside the reach of imposed prohibitions and borders, laws and regulations, hurdles and obstacles. It is only when you do this that you give your karma the opportunity to flow directly to you in all its manifestations, both negative and positive, which actually equalizes your overall karmic experience. In essence if you walk into the cage of a hungry wild tiger, no matter how good your karma, you will most likely get eaten alive. Now is this your karma? Did you actually do something to deserve that death? Most likely it would be more appropriate to contribute the outcome to stupid decision making, no matter how good your karma was or no matter how many good things you karma does actually have lined up for you outside of that cage, you can still negate it by your current actions and environment. By this i've realized karma is always flowing to you, but even karma can't break through walls or stop a hungry tiger. I think that in order to accept the benefits of our karma we have an equal role to play in its distribution. While karma sends, good or bad, we must open ourselves to it's reception by placing ourselves in the world. Although karma itself can manifest in anyway within different realities, in our own world, which is primary of physical form and thus bound by physical possibilities and laws, karma has to obey those laws. It's sort of like purchasing an item to be delivered to your door, and then never opening the door. The bell will ring and ring and ring, but if you don't open the door you're never going to get the package. You have to go out into the world if you are to receive the benefits of your karma. You have to maximize your availability to the world in order for karmas physical manifestations in our world to reach you, whether it's the postman, some money you find on the ground, or a car accident while you were crossing the street that puts you in the hospital but you end up falling in love and marrying the nurse and having 5 kids and living a life you could not be happier with. You MUST reduce the physical obstacles to yourself to allow karma to connect without obstruction. I think this is a big issue among people nowadays who are locked up in their houses, sitting behind the computer and going out once in a while. They might wonder, why doesn't anything good come to me? Well, how can it, really? What are the odds when you have put yourself two stories above sea level and surrounded yourselves with steel reinforced concrete. You would need a wrecking ball to get through that talk less about karma. We get what we allow karma to give us based on what we deserve. My summary is that you have to make yourself available, so karma can manifest.
-
That is precisely what i meant by "stupid decision making" >> "No". My point is that you may have 1000000 Good Karma points to reap, but if you place yourself in an environment where goodness cannot manifest, then it is just as if you have only bad karma, which is why i am saying, you need to place yourself in an environment that will allow your due karma to manifest. However i do not agree that the getting eaten alive due to walking in the cage can be classified as karma, no that is direct action and shouldn't be open to karmic interpretation. If i pick up a knife and know that it is sharp and know that it will cut me and know that i will experience pain, running the blade into the center of my palm and getting cut and experiencing pain is NOT karma. Karma in my opinion takes time to transform and manifest, from cause to effect and this is why it differs from direct cognitive action. If i jump off the top of a building willingly and die this is not karma, but our voluntary actions are capable of determining the flow of karma we are already due. It is however i believe, quite different from direct action and direct consequence. Real karma IMO must go out into the universe and transform and manifest before it materializes in return. Walking into the cage on it's own is not an evil act, so how would you justify getting eaten alive as fair karma in such a scenario? No. This is just direct action, not transformed karma. But let us not also exclude the probability that one might walk into the cage and the beasts will do no harm.

I have never been aggressive in my courting women and i get pretty much whoever i choose. It is easy. You just have to look average and have a good sense of self-respect and esteem. Then approach women, not with aggression, but with love and care and you will get who you want. The aggression that is normally thrown around as a requirement in my experience normally comes up AFTER a trust has been established between the two partners and not before, otherwise aggression at first face during the initial phase of courting is normally considered a negative trait. There are big differences between aggression, cockiness, confidence, self-esteem, arrogance etc. Yin within Yin + Yin within Yang >> Yin/Yin Yin/Yang >> FAIL Yin within Yang + Yang within Yin >> Yin/Yang Yang/Yin >> WIN Yang within Yang + Yang within Yin >> Yang/Yang Yang/Yin >> FAIL Women look for the women in men and men look for the men in women (In a non-gay way), but both want someone of the opposite sex. Trust me. It happens subconsciously.

I agree. You have to let go a little Black. What was it Rourke said in Iron Man 2. "Hey men, Don't get too attached to things. Learn to let go." It only works if you say it with a Russian accent though

In the park in Rotterdam, there is an old Asian dude who basically walks the whole park backwards, and the park ain't small either. He seems like the happiest fellow alive to me, always has a big smiley on his kisser. I watch him sometime while i do my Dao Yin. I never see him doing any sort of practice before he gets walking, so apparently it's not only for balancing, perhaps it is an independent practice too. Maybe we don't know enough. How funny would it be if to become an immortal really all you had to do was walk 10 km backwards. I bet we'd all slap our foreheads. hahahah

Holding ball is good for building a connection between your Lao Gong points and exercising emission and Qi sensitivity. I don't know what else it's good for. It is used in Tai Ji a lot, maybe someone with some Tai Ji experience can testify to it's energetic effects.

I think he means PC8, KI1, DU20. The palms, bottom of the feet and head? If it's that one i think you need to be in full lotus. No-no for me : ) Or what?

Does anyone understand by what order the Yin Qi in these systems is stored at the Hui Yin? Is there an energy center there in Taoism that i don't know about. I know it means the meeting point/place of Yin, but thats because the Yin channels pass through there, not because there is a center? So what is it, a chakra? Surely it must be of a considerable capacity there to be able to merge with the Yang Qi in the LTT at least in equal proportions to create the Tai Ji. Is it possible that the reason that stage is potentially fatal is because too much unequal quantities of Yin and Yang are fused? How does one even know when both centers are charged adequately to attempt a fusion. Since the Yang Qi passes through the Hui Yin on the way up the back during the laying of the foundation, why doesn't it fuse automatically when it moves past the perineum O_o
