I want to branch a topic of discussion from this thread: http://www.thetaobums.com/Time-between-eja...ice-t13042.html I think that everything that "IS" is natural, regardless of its Yin/Yang charge, if we consume it moderately we can maintain the harmony of Yin/Yang within ourselves. There are many things which the path of Tao restricts. Many things, which by our qualification of existence define and constitute the nature of life: experiences, food, tastes, certain emotions, even vices. This is my opinion, but i feel that the path of Tao as rewarding as it is, may perhaps be only half of what "existence" is about. Although there are those of us who might ascend to spiritual heights permanently and not even require a physical body... i argue that is Yin and the Physical body is Yang (Or the other way around) and within Tao, one must find the harmony between those two, which should not exclude one from the experiences related to the physical body. Can one exist truly only as essence? - What would be the purpose of your existence, if not to love and help others? - A feat which can only be performed by going there where help and love is needed; the physical world. I may yet lack the understanding of some concepts, but i strongly feel that neither a solely spiritual existence or a solely physical existence is the true nature of Tao. I believe that even one who attains immortality and union with the Tao, at the height of existential heights, will eventually return to the physical plain, because the "ghost must inhabit the shell" - regardless of how advanced or lacking EITHER of them are. There is a saying: "The ripe rice plant, bows it's head low"

Oddly enough i thought my second GF how to do this. Most women know hardly anything about their anatomy >_< How can they expect us to pleasure them if they don't have a clue in some cases? lol Guys are easy, we just say, suck here, lick there... and were done, no diagrams required. I agree there is a female prostate. It's on the front wall, after the opening and the tissue gets coarser and larger around that area after stimulated. Girls have a problem getting a prostate orgasm because of that "pee" feeling. None of them want to pee in the bed and because they don't "let go", few ever achieve it. So it takes a lot of trust, but also a good explanation of what is expected before both try it. Also make sure she has a wee before hand, that way it reassures her she's not gonna have a number 1 and that what she is experiencing is in fact something else... Might help her let go. And if you're just figuring out where it is, it helps to ask "how does it feel here?..here?...here?" lol until u hit it : ) Just make sword fingers, palm up and feel around the top. - When you hit it and u can see her reaction, or she just lets you know how much different it is, you'll also visibly notice the flesh around her pubic bone moving on the outside as u play with it. What i find more interesting though than it's existence, is it's benefit and use to the body. It is not a small! - more like a small water dam breaking. There was a really great tutorial video on how to give a woman a prostate orgasm online, using a real woman, with step by step instructions and a real prostate orgasm at the end. Give google a try.

First off I am not interested in becoming a Xian right now, this has never been my motivation. I am not expecting anything either. I am not obsessing : ) I have no goal other than to practice and i practice, whatever comes through that, does, i do not want, just simply receive. To say that thinking about something before one has achieved it is pointless, is like saying that the Wright brothers should have never asked themselves if they could make something take flight and carry people over oceans... seeing as we have airplanes now. We do not get anywhere without an established goal, which all rise from healthy questions. Questions IMO are just as much the precursor of results and progress as No Questions is. All things can be answered with a question and all things can be answered through meditation. Neither is the wrong way, and both of them at some point require the other. I think its just Yin/Yang. If i am climbing up a mountain with a 10,000 steps with a bag of water and fresh fruit - is it pointless to imagine sharing it with the hungry and thirsty people at the top and imagining their happiness? - I don't think good intent is pointless. And IMO to ask and contemplate whether the path one has taken will allow him to share his knowledge and help his fellows, is not an act of selfishness or obsession, but on the contrary defines the selflessness of that persons motivation. What is all the happiness, money, love, healing, knowledge and power in the world worth, if u cannot share it. Thus, my question - which i somewhat feel u may have misunderstood - is: If immortality, unification with Tao, etc. and all it's achievements separates you from the physical realm, where you might use them to help and heal others - Is it a selfish pursuit? In Essence it is ourselves that we cultivate, but isn't that just as selfish as doing anything else for yourself without the prospect of using what u get to help and love others? Many strive for it with the aim that it is the ultimate and final goal, but is spiritual enlightenment perhaps a starting point, rather than an end? - Is it just a phase we pass, in order to come back and lead better lives in the physical realm? But then i guess there is the whole incarnation deal : ) These are not poisonous questions. It is simply a healthy appreciation of the possibilities : ) PS: BTW i generally agree with you Stigweard, but not about contemplation and asking questions being pointless! Happy New Year! _/\_

Huh?... They DO lead to my practice. It is because we awaken to ask "why" or "what" and "how" that we realize there is more than the physical. Questions are not the black plague u model them to be... - often they are just a nudge towards a higher level or reasoning and understanding. Contemplation to me is an important part of my development. There is use for nothing if everything exists without reason.
-
Thank you for your opinion Stigweard : ) The notion i was trying to highlight through that metaphor, was the prevailing perception of Taoism's greatest attainment being that one reaches the highest high of spirituality eg: becomes an immortal, attains enlightenment and is able to separate their consciousness from the physical plane and exist else where, wherever that is. I realize that union with the Tao is the ultimate achievement, but many people on here whose posts i've read tend to convey, that beyond that, there is nothing else to achieve. What is knowledge if you cannot share it, what is love if u cannot give it, what is enlightenment and immortality if you cannot teach others to free themselves in the same way? - Are a bunch of immortals having tea somewhere? - What would be the point of such an existence ? - Is that not ego? Don't we get, so we can give? - I believe that those who cultivate to leave this realm, do so to free themselves of the shackles of the physical world, but once those shackles are broken - They return to give and share and love. My argument is that a lot i have read seems to circulate around the idea that, the physical plane is the lesser of the two, and i can understand why, but isn't this against the nature of Taoism in itself? - Shouldn't Yin and Yang be harmonious? Reaching the highest peak of spiritual attainment, is just that and nothing else. It is nothing on its own. U can be the master of the physical, or the master of the spiritual, but if you are not the master of both, then is that Tao? If it is so, then isn't the physical world just a prison for our souls? - Or is it a "mission" a chronic pain, which those who have separated from, come back through reincarnation to help alleviate by spreading wisdom and knowledge and helping the world ascend and evolve? I am no immortal thats for sure - And this is only speculation, but i feel that if i ever reached a state of immortality, my most important goal would be to come back to the physical plane and teach others as much as i can and help our race evolve. Thats why i say, is Taoism in that sense only half of the pie? - Is the other half to come back to the physical? Union with the Tao is like someone finding their true self... but when you do, you have to put what you have become to use. Otherwise it is a waste, whether you're immortal or not. Yin and Yang on their own as a concept are nothing, nothing until they come together to create everything that exists in the universe, and those are the highest powers we know of. Having said that, is it not appropriate to say that, WE, our spirit our physical body, who are all a result of Yin and Yang, likewise are NOTHING and of NO USE, if we do not CREATE, and SHARE our power and love and knowledge? So what do you guys think? - Is "immortality" only half the pie? - Will you be satisfied with getting a sun tan on a cloud, when there is so much that can be done to love and help the earth and its population? Happy New Year Europe btw PS: I am not assuming i know the view of the mountain top... Yet. This speculation is driven out of compassion, because i want to help with the knowledge and Tao-willing abilities i achieve through my practices : )

This ^^^ Anyone? - I have always wondered the same question. Don't the knees only contribute to vibration = heat build up or is there more?

I was trying to spark a conversation regarding the following below, not celibacy : ) I would really like to know what people think about this. It is something that crosses my mind regularly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "I think that everything that "IS" is natural, regardless of its Yin/Yang charge, if we consume it moderately we can maintain the harmony of Yin/Yang within ourselves. This is how i personally feel: I hit a high point after which there is no progress. Maybe i need to hold on more for it to break a the high during retention, but i feel that if i release during this point i take my cultivation to the next level. Much like a price chart. I hit a high and it consolidates... If i wait long enough it may break through, but if i let it come down for a breather to gather momentum, the moment i reach the prior high point i cut right through it. It is much harder for us Drew who have yet to acquire the skill to internally climax, so i think our urge to do so is stronger since we have no other available options that offer the feelings of release. Should one be celibate all his life to become one with the Tao? - I don't know. I may be wrong, but i feel like there are only certain points during cultivation that the Jing is required in extraordinary quality and quantity. I think that everything that "IS" is natural, regardless of its Yin/Yang charge, if we consume it moderately we can maintain the harmony of Yin/Yang within ourselves. There are many things which the path of Tao restricts. Many things, which by our qualification of existence define and constitute the nature of life: experiences, food, tastes, certain emotions. I know this is common practice in many Gung Fu systems, but does anyone know why and what the energetic and physical/martial benefits are? I have heard some holding this for 1 or 2 hours, which seems like an eternity to me as i can only hold it for 5 to 10 minutes maximum before i crumple under strain. A minute later tho i feel absolutely orgasmic : ) I feel like the energy in my whole lower body expands and expands and expands and contracts and contracts at the same time. Anyone? PS: I specifically mean the "deep" horse stance (90 degree knees, straight back, wide stance + thunder palms, index finger pointing to the heavens)

I had a similar experience last week... I was sleeping and in my sleep, i sensed an entity in the room, i couldn't turn around to see it but i knew it was there and i was paralyzed. I tried to move but i felt an immensely heavy force weigh upon me, constricting me, like the entity was pushing down on me, so i couldn't lift of the bed. Suddenly my alarm went off in my dream (i don't actually have one) and i woke up, but i kept my eyes closed because honestly i was frightened of opening them. I kept them closed for a while till i felt calm and had enough courage to open them ready for confrontation and when i did nothing was there. The experience has lead me to reading up a lot about manifestations and demons and spirits and so on and so forth. I feel these are all self manifested and feel they have always existed within me, but as my practice advances and i become purer i feel they are trying to get my attention as i purge myself of anger and jealousy and greed and want and desire. Perhaps the things they thrived on? I suppose anything backed into a corner will try to fight. In the past week i have become more aware of these things and decided to let them be. I thank whatever Gods may be For my unconquerable soul I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. And if the boogey men in me have a problem with their living arrangements, i am going to start evicting lest they comply with my zen : )

hahah - i saw a lazy fat cat once, it tried to jump about 10 cm between two chairs and fell flat on its face. It was the laziest jump i had ever seen, it was more like an olympic belly flop, i couldn't stop laughing, even a little puppy would have made that gap : ) Fat cats are certainly entertaining. On topic however. They are very calming. To perceive on sitting eyes half closed purring, is truly like a great master in meditation. I admire them, but hate the hair shedding...

I have no words to precisely explain what i experience when i watch someone getting a haircut, tattoo, shave or a massage... It takes the moment i turn it on and tune into it and this energy overcomes me. It is akin to a sympathy of sort. It relaxes me and immediately puts me into a state of calm. Sometimes my legs will start moving spontaneously and shaking. I have tons and tons of massage videos, make up videos, haircut videos, drawing videos, shaving videos... they put me in an absolute trans. Have you ever been to a barbershop like this? - I don't mean the modern, high tech dense facilities we have down town. I mean good old fashioned, chair, comb, cutters, or massage studios. I feel the less electronics there are the less of this energy there is in the place. Some sort of connection takes place between the two people and it sets me off. If i put on a massage video and do sitting meditation, i get immediate results - My third eye will also start pulsing. Examples: 1. 2. 3.

Last post read! - Finally! I have seen a lot of sincerity here and likewise a lot of hate and anger, too little compassion and a voluntary lack of the willingness to understand. Much like our planet only on a smaller scale : ) If there is one thing i have learned on this forum and through my practices, both of Taoism and Martial Arts, it is that we all seek to find that which will lead us on our chosen path, faster, safer, more efficiently and without sacrificing quality and authenticity. From within the Nos and the Yes' the Cheer and the Gloom, one truth seems to float above the bad experiences and misunderstanding; that Kunlun; in whatever it "does" yields results, evidently the nature of which have been positive for some and negative for others. None the less, tangible results. Do we not have it in each other here the wisdom and maturity to separate Kunlun from it's attributions to negativity and former names of teachers and students and take what is left of it to make something better? - What is the benefit of this fighting? - What is the point of these arguments? - If it is help that people need to recover from a darkness that has beset them, it will not be out of fighting or negativity... but of an open heart and compassion that one will offer to heal them. It appears to me here that Kunlun has become a feast for many to feed their egos with. Even out of the worst one can derive a glimmer of goodness. From within hate we often find love and care and from ignorance, understanding and appreciation. I may be wrong to assume that this is correct. But i feel there are many here whom are developed, experienced and wise in the way of the Tao. Is there no way to salvage what is good of Kunlun? - All say, this is bad, but few offer to make it better. If you all agree that this method is overly-effective, then why not come together to scale it down and make a system of Kunlun which is more balanced, taking both from the lighter side and from the darker side; to form a harmonious method of practice? I am certain there is enough knowledge and understanding within this community to give rebirth to a Kunlun, which may benefit many to come in the future. Why totally destroy something, when we can make it better? I can imagine with clarity, that if people were willing to put aside their prejudice and egos a thread could be opened here, that could discuss the proven benefits of Kunlun, it's proven negatives, methodology, cautions, instructions, experiences, recommendations, stories, warnings, individual progress, answering questions, safety guidelines and much more. I am adamant in my belief that a beneficial balance can always be established if there is will and intent. I am sure there are others out there who could use such information, maybe even people who may currently be experiencing negative feedback from Kunlun practice who have nowhere to turn to. Is there not something more positive we can provide? - I believe this community has the power to do so if it wills. I sense too much ignorance and misunderstanding and prejudice by many posters here. Can we not be better than this? It truly saddens me

Aliens who has been one and who have meet one?

I've always had a deep concern with my practice, that perhaps on the day of my death i would not have achieved a level of unity with the Tao that would allow me to separate from the physical plane, in a way which i may carry on my thoughts and experiences. It worries me that in my next life, i may not know of the Tao or even be interested in such a pursuit... that i would be back to square -0 What would one need to do to make sure that on their birth into the next life, they might carry on the experience of the previous - in essence continuing their practice from the point at which it ceased during the death of their prior physical shell? Does anyone else worry about this? - I don't want to embody a physical form again, confined to the material, unaware of the Tao... It scares me, for i think such a life would be empty beyond understanding. How does one evolve beyond this and carry on without having to restart/reset every new life? -
Exercise in my experience is the best way to increase testosterone. You will literally feel your glands get bigger : ) It does not have to be "power" exercise. You do not need to lift heavy weight, but make sure you get your heart rate up, exercise your breath with an activity which forces you to use different breathing patterns, and interchange the intensity of the exercise: eg. one phase requiring endurance vs strength, then strength vs endurance. Do something which is not just "plain" mechanical exercise, but includes your intellect and dexterity. May i advise something like: Brazilian Jui Jitsu, or Zuzana's routines: Routines A / Routines B Good luck : )

Drew, I've also noticed as my development has increased that my body rejects certain food. Things which i would otherwise have eaten and enjoyed, now i just can't stand. The mere smell of some food just makes me go *bleh... - while other gives me a bad stomach. All of which were regular items on my menu. In some cases i don't feel anything when i swallow, but otherwise i feel my chest burning... like my body is giving me real time feedback saying: "don't put anymore of this in me." So i've been eating vegetables and fruits and meat, which is what i normally ate before, but with the exception of some things which my body doesn't like anymore. Do you have any experience with this sort of reactions from your body? - I've always felt like my body tells me what to eat, but for the first time in the past 3 months it has been signaling what "not" to eat very clearly. Did you ever come across this? - If yes, how do certain "unfavorable" foods effect your energetic state? Much appreciated.

Thanx Drew

Fascinating - I actually do a lot of spinning while i am sitting legs crossed to warm up my spine before every session. How would you compare Kunlun to Qi Gong? - Goals? Results? When is your DVD coming out and how much will it cost? Gracias : ) PS: I spin both clockwise and counter during my warm-ups. Would you say it is more appropriate for one to spin clockwise while laying the foundation, as opposed to counter? At least until they are perhaps ready to receive divine energy?

Drew, Is there any point in doing Small Universe/Microcosmic Orbit, through Master Lin's CD session if your LDT is not "overflowing" yet ? I've read that forcing a small amount of Qi to circulate Ren and Du through the will can cause problems, and at the same time i've read much on methods that encourage it regardless of whether the LDT is "full". Any advice on this?
