  1. Personal Practice Discussion Thread Request

My ppd is there now but I am unable to post a new thread still. The green start a topic button isn't there and if I use the "create post" button my name is greyed out.
  2. I am seeing criticism but honestly this lines up with inner alchemy and life experience I've had at pivotal moments. It's like luck meets preparation in a way. Hopefully in those cycles you are aware enough, and can break them. Otherwise we repeat. I will also say this "memory exercise" would happen pretty spontaneously in meditation for me when I began, I'd do it for about 3 years till I became more focused on certain things.
  3. Personal practice

I see. Yea I can't make a new topic or reply to my old personal practice threads I've made still.
  4. Personal practice

Just wondering how to open mine back up. Haven't been on the site in years and feel the need to communicate/write things down.
  5. Personal practice

Seems I still can't make a new post, it is moved now though at least.
  6. What exactly is neidan/internal alchemy?

My understanding is inner work/nei gong. Can argue on the details, but each school differs on what they mean. Some start other places, generally I think developing the dan tien is the best start but I've seen some great effects from other avenues. Many different ways to skin a cat.
  7. Before anything I'd recommend increasing sensitivity to energy. Naturally after that it all has to do with the practices you're doing that will gather/stimulate these energies. Some will take a longer time to develop, so even if you're very sensitive you won't always be feeling them. I don't know where you're at. However I don't think most people know just how dead their senses are, even a large amount of people doing Neidan. I would recommend something called Chi Permeation. It's a basic method of circulation that increases sensitivity. I attribute a lot of my progress to this method setting me up for success. I'm sure it's online, and it's in the book Qi gong Empowerment. Goes a long way. Hope it helps.
