    Hm hey cool. I used a method that sounds similar to that, from the book Qi gong Empowerment. I'd do it for about 40 minutes before I did my chi kung haha (Bit much?). Cool thing about the smokers aswell =).

    Hm that's an interesting way to put it. At the end of the runs I have to say it's a mixed feeling of that and trying. Im enjoying myself when im really out of energy, but still trying to keep going. I never really run my max but yea I liked your example with smoking. Not that I do, just saying.

  10. Feeling of time passing by, or time flying

    All that's happened to me is, I guess time slows down. I Feel like im moving much faster though. I don't have much going through my head, I notice that after it happens. for example.. I was on AIM talking to a friend, I Said brb bathroom, friend says ok. I go, wash my hands and come back. I say back, and he replies "..." "?" and I say "what" and see the aim time. It was only 4 seconds. Weird. That was the only time it was really timed I think. Other times I'll just do things, it's really just I don't hesitate in the situations, they even feel long to me sometimes. I've sometimes had people comment on it happening, but yea strange. It only happens every once inawhile, those are the times I can tell though.

  12. Hi everyone. I am ordering some Astragalus. I've looked online but no real straight foward answers on how to prepare it. The idea popped into my head that I could ask thetaobums, im sure some of you have had plenty of experience with preparing herbs. Let alone the non medicinal herbs Hayoh. Anyway yeah. How much to take daily, what I would need in order to drink it. I really have no problem with bitter tasting products. I've tried my whey protein with water, pretty gross, now I use milk. Just an example I don't really mind if it were to taste terrible. Im not really looking for recipies though. Thanks, Looking foward to your feedback.

    Yeah, I have a bent septum. Well on the inside of my nose (noone can nose thankfulyl =P). So before I took astragalus one side would always be closed, and I could'nt breathe out through one of the sides. When I meditated or did horse stance weirdly enough it'd open after about 20 seconds. Ever since I spit that stuff out though I've been breathing through both nostrils. A good amount even.. First time in awhile lol

    Yeah. Im drinking a cup right now aswell. I drank it twice more after, and now this is my 3rd cup in all. (So I've had 4 cups). 2nd cup I felt really really good, like I do after meditation, well similar anyway. 3rd cup I Felt reasonably hot/yang. I just started this cup so I can't say.

    Hm yeah, so you don't go overboard, and following customs turns into just listening to whatever people tell you to do. I like the term self-actualization aswell haha. I believe pretty much the same concept.

    Mhm. I believe it's about developing and retaining your coreself. So to adopt to many peoples qualities, or to not stand on your own feat, may be a negative towards your self development.

    Hahah. Yeah I agree. Although I believe there are also times you sort of have to hopelessly be alone on something, no matter the difficulty. Depending on the importance. Like some things in Nei dan, or cultivation in general.

Just saying.. when you say muggers don't use air rifles, it implies "anyone who encounters a mugger isn't going to be able to take the bullet". There are some that can, and they don't use air rifles either It's just not likely haha.

    Tried the astragalus. I Chewed it down, boiled some water, let it cool and drank it slowly. The second gulp I had a huge amount of phlegm drop down to my mouth haha, some blood it in I found out. Kinda nasty I guess. After about 10 minutes that eased up.. Im feeling better and better every 10 minutes or so. Pretty Radical

    I agree. I was just saying for most it takes a bit to actually drop those crutches. For a baby, their crutch is there parents walking, old man a stick, but for you and I, it's just a "Crutch". I agree with this. People have to stand on their feet. My input was just that it can be a comfortable feeling to have that support sometimes, although it's most often better you don't get it. So you and I can grow. Thanks for the Reply.

    Open arms can be very comfortable, so much so, you stop noticing them.
  24. Senseless mugging you will rarely stop with words. So you have to fight or run. It's not really worth talking through either way. If it's just talking and people are trying to mess with you I usually just don't say anything until they approach or do something to me. Words can get you introuble lol. But if you don't say anything and you're going to fight anyway, you don't elevate the situation either way. To be a superhero? I don't think that's my place. One mans hero is another mans criminal Look at Assange.
