I think a couple of months would be good.. Maybe 2 or 3 to really know the feeling of settling in the wilderness. Maybe more. Its not needed for some anyway..So no big deal

When you say master Foo, do you mean the Emei qi gong teacher?

Wish there was a like button on this site.. I mean to like replies, ect.
-
Yeah this has been a favorite for a long while now.
-
Even if I did know.. Telling you would probably be a waste, once you'd burn some dead leaves you'd probably get bored. I mean.. Unless your planning on showing it off to other people, then ofcourse its for show, and some of fine with that too.

I find.. Training does go a bit more smoothly when im a bit on the light end, so like 150/157. Thing is my appetite has dramatically dropped since I've started training. Especially right after training, im not hungry nor thirsty. I eat pretty much for the nutrients, I know, im boring. In the end if your training, you probably won't be that hungry anyway, although you may feel "Full" in a sense.

As a movie I really really liked it. Also I got something meaningful from one particular part of the story, pretty overwhelming even.. Well worth it.

Its not for Everyone. you could probably try and move on with your life though.

Dr. YanXin QiGong Vs. Spring Forest QiGong

Normal right hand under left is supposed to be normal dan tien breathing (for men). The other way around I've heard it as nourishing the dan tien. When its the other way around I think it has to do more with actually developing the dan tien. I do it for 20 minutes after dan tien breathing at the end of training. -
I guess what I meant was to keep tension and just hold, it won't be to hard when you've sunk in and lean foward a bit. My ankles aren't touching when I do lotus, sorry for the mix up.

Hm so a + for spleen is less work more nutrients? Hence the steamed vegetables..
-
Really beautiful thanks.

Hm anything from Yang jwing ming (other then embryonic breathing/and root of chinese qi gong). Anything heavely referring to breathing methods or inner fire. When I say breathing methods that can also be on breathless methods. Really anything along those lines. Im not a fan of chia by the way. In the end don't stress though.. If nothing relates to what I said above just swap for a book you think I may benefit from. I think thats a great idea. Also enouch tomorrows my last day before I go on vacation for two weeks.. I'll be checking the site often.

Hm keep in mind its not always the strongest who wins either. Leverage is a useful Key.

I may trade. What books would you have up for trade?

One way I found myself that got me able to do full lotus fast and for a long time. Its pretty simple and can be painful too. This isn't for energy practices, its really just to get yourself use to full lotus so you can start sitting on the floor and doing your practices ect. So you go to a very fluffy bed.. One you'll sink in, put a pillow at your tailbone so you can sit up and not slouch excessively. Now put your self as far in full lotus as you can go, be careful though, then to sort of lock your ankles slightly lean foward. Then just hold. The pain may be pretty bad but if you can sit through it for maybe 5 minutes, (I use to over do it, would not advise that do to numbness) then you should be able to move on to doing it on flat ground. The reason I find it useful is your not struggling to hold it rather just endure the pain, some may disagree with me saying its a bit masochistic or something but it works. The results are I can hold full lotus for pretty much as long as I want to. I meditate about 45 minutes so it works out, the longest I have is an hour and a half. Good old fashioned stretching will do its job.. Hip flexor stretches people often leave out. So just stretch if you don't want to go through all that over stretching I just mentioned.

Going cold turkey can be a bit harsh aswell. The headaches I mean ect.

Well a normal amount of sugar a person supposedly should be having is 30 grams a day.. Just drink water, eat plenty of vegetables, and limit number of fruits. Honestly I still have a cup of blue berries every morning or so.. But thats about all the sugar through out the day, just me. Good Luck

Winning an argument on a forum isn't going to add inches to your uh.. Ego Lol I think people have strayed a bit away from the main topic.

Yeah I've heard the one most important reason to record dreams is to learn the celestial teachings.. If anything.
-
Hm you get a full grasp of how the dream may come to be.. Not the story, more like.. One dream may actually repeat over and over in sequences before its actually fully experienced. When you read over your dreams and began to recognize them for what they are, aswell as remember them you'll begin to learn while still in them... Also found it cool your in florida, I'll be there in 3 days

What happens say if someone is doing to much?

Its been mentioned that cultivating qi will make your goosebumps alittle stronger/chills stronger, atleast I've said it, I think I remember getting feedback.. Anyway. Lately I've been wondering if it matters where they start.. Sometimes I'll have them start at the skin and go down to almost the bone if not the bone, sometimes on the inside, and even sometimes from my back to the top of my head. It can really make the skin on the top of my head feel weird.. It gets really strong sometimes, thing is I really know no extra information on the matter. Any ideas?
