  1. Taoist view points on spiritual entities

My first impression was- Maybe it's you. Then again, my first impressions are often quite wrong. This is more of a bump. Wait for someone that says something that resonates with you. Then, when this 'entity' comes again, ask it if whatever answer you have is true. Then you'll know.
  2. Hehehe; Did you think the same about Bush and Cheney?
  3. Your later posts confused me, but ^this is invariably win. Btw, Ohm-nei, what's the secret to enlightenment?
  4. Lao Tzu: Tao Te Ching

To stop thinking in straight lines?
  5. What Have You Opened?

I'm in the nothing group. One day...
  6. Essay Thoughts

Unfortunately, I am unable to judge other than basic convention, as I have never read that book.
  7. Nassim Haramein

A completely unbiased action that has nothing to do with the fact that he does not agree with modern science, right?
  8. Essay Thoughts

Is this formal? I must ask, because you use a lot of 'I's throughout, and the first person usually is not allowed in formal English.
  9. Love and where does spirituality enter?

Don't know how traditional Taoism feels, but it doesn't bother me. I don't know if you're going to find much meant for two guys, though. Tbh, Taoism embraces the whole Male/Female duality a lot, but I certainly can't say for sure. I'd try doing whatever feels right. Love is spirituality.
  10. I think I've just found another person whose threads I will read with a grain of salt.
  11. I just became enlightened!

To be 1337 or Leet is to be really awesome/epic/uber/godly over the internet. As in your joking 'I just became an enlightened master! Bow to me, mortals, and give me your monies!'
  12. I just became enlightened!

Oh, Master, can u tech mi hou to be 1337????? EDIT: 1337 = Leet. I hope at least a few people knew that, or I'll feel like a huge internet nerd.
  13. On other forums I've been on, moderators (or at least Admins) have been able to see IP addresses without sending people to fake sites. My twin brother and I were asked why we were on the same IP address, and we had to give pics in order for them to believe that we're twins. I don't believe VCraigP is saying that the mods are the only ones allowed to do what RFunaki did. I believe he is saying that no one should do what RFunaki did, and that the only way IP addresses should ever be checked is by asking the mods/admins of whatever website to do so through their sanctioned methods.
  14. Thanks for the link! I will make use of that one day. For now, and until I'm living alone, it's bookmarked. Thanks for the advice! It was indeed better than any astrology. Astrology is just lots of fun!
  15. Is having multiple accounts against the rules, whether it's true or not? I mean, does it make or break a post on an internet forum that the user has one/two/multiple accounts? I mean, it would be foolish and odd, but this is the internet. Men are men, women are men, and children are the FBI, as it's said. Why so serious? ^ Maybe I'm Ralis too! Cajralis, kekekeke.
  16. To be perfectly honest, Psychiatry, or at least for now just Psychology, is my choice of Major. The stars seem to wish to help me; perhaps it will give me some confidence. Maybe I might make a breakthrough that can help people. Sorry to ask so much, but is there anything in Astrology that deals with traveling? I know it's an odd question, but I've always had the urge to take 4k dollars, a back pack stuffed with a few pairs of clothes, and a passport and just go and live life (lol, or die, but that's possible always). I just don't know when I should do it. Should I forgo college until I'm a few years older (like 24-28) to go travel, or should I go to school now and go exploring after I get my degree? Do the stars have any help for me here, because it's the big fork in the road of my life right now. To give you a full picture, I did really well in high school. I took all highest level classes (besides in math...), and I got a pretty darn good score on the big test they make us take to 'prove our intellect' before colleges will accept us. I also participated in some of the big events in my school (including a charity), so I believe the school I sent my application to will accept it. Therefore, it's not a question of 'Should I go to college?' but 'Should I go to college now?'
  17. Dr. Lin

Sounds kinky... I didn't fully realize.
  18. VAJ posture: Tibetian Yoga Masters

While I think that everyone agrees Rather, you are correct in this, I should have said 'While we all agree that'. Thanks, I should stop writing like that. I would like to say, though, that your following post was still simply another regurgitation of the 'Some master says Full Lotus is supreme' statement I was discussing. That is what you need to fix, as you have repeated yourself quite often lately.
  19. VAJ posture: Tibetian Yoga Masters

Drew, you continue to say that you aren't 'obsessing' over the Full Lotus, yet... There is nothing better to do than more full lotus? That sounds exactly like everything else you've ever posted on the subject: There is nothing better than full lotus. That sounds like an obsession, and an 'answer' to a question when all we really have is guesswork. While I think that everyone agrees that the Full Lotus is powerful and brings forth a lot of potential, I think others are simply pointing out that everything you post seems to point out the SUPREME ULTIMATE!!! power of your VAJ position.
  20. Weed and shrooms are the most I've done, but I have friends who've done everything under the sun. I have to agree with SereneBlue about the ability of drugs to help uncondition the mind. It's what happened to me. Weed was my catalyst for spirituality, and while it held me back at first, I think it's easier to let go of weed than it is to let go of all the bullshit American society had shoved in my brain since my birth.
  21. Thanks, N-m-t-n-m-t! Everything you interpreted is perfectly correct, to the utmost. It's rather freeing and amusing- if somewhat creepy- to note that my personality (what I always called I) is so very predictable. Also, oddly enough my grandmother always said that I was 'jowly' (though my big head sort of makes it unnoticeable, besides when I'm over weight). And, yes, my dream job is being a Psychiatrist- though I wouldn't give pills ever, as I don't believe in their use. Also, the esoteric and the humanitarian are of my most valued pursuits. p.s. I've noticed before that I become oddly quiet and shy around new people when they have the potential to become anything more than strangers. If they are only strangers, I am as open as I am with my own friends (as their opinion doesn't affect me). But if I like someone (as a friend or romantically), I close off a little- I guess it's a defensive mechanism or something. When I get to know them and trust them a bit, I open up, and people are shocked by the change.
  22. How to Avoid Psychosis

Thanks for that. Even if you're just some random dude on an internet forum, I really needed someone to write what you just wrote; I've been thinking along exactly the same lines recently, but when I did, I always thought that I was being naive. I agree intrinsically with everything you said, and the last part most of all. Edit: I think your thread was considered included in the 'fear mongering' list...
  23. Straight Edge and Philosophical Taoism

On the matter of straight-edge music groups: Between the Buried and Me is the greatest Metal band this side of existence. On the matter of being straight edge: Rock on, brother. Giving up attachments and living simply is always for the positive. It is part of the way. I can't say I am as free from myself as you are. I am still attached to many physical desires.
