competition, dominanance and violence
Ninpo-me-this-ninjutsu-me-that replied to Non's topic in General Discussion
 It would be nice! If it ever happens I'm buying a cat tomorrow. Actually it did make me think of something though... Picture this (if you're female, if you're male I wouldn't bother): A burning house, outside a mother crying unable to get her baby still trapped inside. Enter the strapping uniformed fireman who says "don't worry, it'll be ok, I'll go get your baby". Risking life and limb(for no extra pay)he goes inside.... after some time he exits, baby in arms running out of the house, flames burning behind him(in slow motion). Now tell me you didn't just go weak at the knees. I guess my point to Non is this: Policeman(brutality/dominance)are generally hated in society. Soldiers(dominant, potential or actual killers)are looked down upon(rightly or wrongly I don't know)..... but fireman! Those lucky bastards can just say to a female "I'm a fireman", and the deal will be essentially done! They may not marry them, but still, those guys aren't short of female attention. I remember an office I used to work in that had frequent false fire alarms. Everytime the fireman came the whole office of about twenty female staff would go nuts and just spend the next ten minutes looking out the window. My God I wish I was a fireman. I think I should invest in a uniform. So Non, it kind of throws your theory out of kilter. Whereas it's true there are some women who like the brutal man it's not totally representative of all females. If you tell me that females don't like fireman then you need to get out more. I suggest you become a fireman. -
HOW TO OVERCOME ALIENS ARCHONS AND THE PHYSICAL PRISON

I don't know what you're talking about Cat, Mr Kipling makes exceedingly good cakes. Without having experienced Mr. Kipling, I may never have found the real thing. You could say Mr. Kipling's cakes are a kind of 'gateway cake'. Leon, is it you that wrote that article? I'm not clear as to whether it is or it is just a link you have provided to something that you are interested in. -

I hear you brother!! Amen and again! He's got something there. If I spend a whole day painting I have absolutely zero urge. I feel spent from want of a better word. The dan tien area feels empty. I wish you luck Lomistick. I think many will tell you to steer clear of the Mantak Chia stuff on here...but you probably already know that. -
HOW TO OVERCOME ALIENS ARCHONS AND THE PHYSICAL PRISON
Ninpo-me-this-ninjutsu-me-that replied to DalTheJigsaw123's topic in The Rabbit Hole
That reminds me of a vivid dream I once had Leon. I remember also reading a book written by Robert Monroe the OBE guy. He described a journey he had where he came to find out spirits were attracted to the physical in some way but then became trapped and the energy they expelled while here was the energy harvested by the energy beings that controlled the area/Earth/planes. This was why everything was stacked against them being able to develop enough velocity/vibration in order for them to leave. Not so keen on the use of the word 'Alien' though, as it makes me think of 'spoon men'(close encounters of the third kind). I don't think 'Alien' can be used effectively for what it is trying to describe. It kind of misleads due to our mis-conception of it. -
The Weak Yin And Weak Yang Problem
Ninpo-me-this-ninjutsu-me-that replied to 宁's topic in General Discussion
I think you spoke a lot of truth there. Just one point...the Spartans were a bit naughty with their young boys, historically speaking. But in general, I catch your drift and it's true. Sadly. -
Again. Very very good post! I'm not sure why you are confused. But I think everything you have said is exceptionally observant and comes quite obviously from real world experience. It may appear that you are agreeing with Non, but in fact your view is very different at root... and the big difference is you say 'not EVERYONE' is like that. Whereas for Non, not everyone is like that but when they are not like that there would still be some reason in his mind that they wouldn't like him. The Non issue as I'm sure you know is ongoing. He relates being confident or sometimes dominant with a person close to him who he doesn't wish to become like. This creates a broken record effect where the needle keeps jumping backwards in a never ending loop. 'A splinter in the mind' that restricts him from becoming the normal expression of a male that he actually is. He cannot get past (someone used this phrase a bit earlier, can't remember who, sorry) a black and white view. The point isn't if he is right or wrong, the point is simply if that view helps him grow and become happy or not. Without getting past the views he cannot see what the fire is that fuels the views that become self defeating. I agree with the others, that Non seriously needs to seek professional help. The sad thing is, when the mind is in that state, that is the last thing it will want to do, and it will constantly create many reasons not to, and justify those to itself. Non isn't a bad person, nor a stupid one either. He just needs to realize he doesn't need to become like 'that' person he doesn't want to become like. He does need someone who he can talk to face to face, and like someone else said, a person who won't let him run rings around them.

Very very good point. And a great post too by the way. @Marblehead: 'Women care about timing'. That's because if you arrive back home late they know you've been up to no good

sexlessness in Japan / in marriage
Ninpo-me-this-ninjutsu-me-that replied to Herodes's topic in General Discussion
ya, that's why I created that rule, because although I knew I had done so, I still knew it was just plain wrong to insult anothers' cakes! I shall be banning myself from baking for one week. AH HAHAHA!! Well, that's where you are wrong!! It was powerpoint not photoshop..... I should imagine...not that I'd know because it was downloaded from a specialist survey site that no one knows about except me, that's how popular and respected the site is. -

Those are some of the ugliest scones I've ever seen in my life. Looks aren't everything, but seriously! I suggest the moderation rules should be changed to the following, which are more in line with todays current trends: Causes for moderation action: * Making personal insults of other members cakes * Stalking and unduly harassing other members for recipes * Profanity and vulgar language when discussing baking(in particular, cakes) * Threatening other members cakes in any way * Discrimination whether based on gender, race, religion, culture or cakes * Posting images of cakes that would be deemed offensive to the general public (i.e. Mals scones) * Unwarranted spam & cake * Links to malicious biscuits * Links to websites that would violate these guidelines (i.e. http://www.recipes4cakes.com/ ) * Illegal content (ie: undercooked cakes) * Content that jeopardizes someone's jam rolly polley. * Excessively and deliberately hijacking someones gateau * Overtly and incessantly trying to convert others to biscuits as opposed to cakes (any one who tries this will be moved to 'cake corner' forthwith) -

So is that a round about way of saying black people are stupid Vortex? I've known some highly intelligent black people and I've known some incredibly stupid Asian people. That also goes for the white race too. I do actually agree with you that many Asians do focus a lot of energy in their heads, this in part seems to be due to their education system forcing them to do so from a young age. I've just never noticed it resulted in wisdom, quite the opposite I'd say actually. -
Well, yes, one might say the subconscious works in mysterious ways. The only problem is I rarely drink more than once a month, unless it's the festive season of course. Further more my skin is like a babies bottom and I look ten years younger than I actually am (so they say...which is actually highly annoying believe it or not). All in all, my subconscious is mucking about. ps. You did intend to send that blank! ..... now .... 'sending blanks' ..... hmmmmm, well, I do hope not for your future wives sake!!

Five Reasons You Won't Die

Nice. I've seen all of those points before but never in one article. Good post Surfing Buddha. -
oooohhh! Nice link up Mythmaker! I'd like to say that was deliberate on my part, but I'd be lying. You have a true artists mind. I never considered my dragon was an alcoholic one! What the hell.... smoking alcoholic dragon taking a drag-on a cigarette it is!
-
That's a very intelligent question, and I'm glad you asked. It is, in fact, both. In this piece I'm trying to combine art and government health warnings. I think this has never been done before in the history of mankind. You could say my piece is something of a benchmark in art history. I felt this piece was rather enigmatic so I put the word dragon right in there to avoid any forthcoming controversy. Dragon is 'Nogard' spelt backwards.
-
I feel it's now time to reveal my hidden talent to the world!! Whereas I do not have the artistry of Mythmaker, I do feel I am making a valuable contribution to the genre of dragons. My piece, is of course, of the 'lesser spotted dragon'. My influences are Dali, Monet, Picasso.... in fact all of the really famous ones. I will be encouraging critic from all (as long as it's all positive). Ps. Please refrain from copying it and trying to sell it off as your own art work.

I'm glad it had such a nice effect on you. If I remember rightly (and I might not be) one of his tracks was put in Game of Death. Edit: I just looked it up, I remember wrongly. Must have been an old issue of kung fu monthly featuring both subjects that is stuck in my mind. I dare you to say that at work tomorrow. That's the kind of sentence that would confuse the 'normal' people for days! I liked the symmetry, but I find myself heavily tempted to put two yin-yang symbols in the top and bottom part of the dragon respectively. I think this desire is further stimulated by the fact that on both the left and right sides you have black and white borders. What was the reason you chose that particular shade of red? As it's the central focus I probably would have gone for a brighter one, such as scarlet, but then again that may well have taken away from the overall balance of the painting, and you do seem to have matched your shades quite well. I like it by the way.

Ok Gerard, perhaps my bad. But I was more concentrating on this statement you made later, which was the one I quoted: When you consume alcohol and get drunk you are really inviting an entity.... I kind of think with the exception of Schizophrenia, you just covered the entire population of the world to some degree at some point in their lives. In truth, I don't disagree with your opinion as to one of the possible causes though. Nice mantra. Thanks

I realize what you are hinting at strawdog65, and although we are both males and I'm not that way inclined, I'm willing to give it a shot as destiny has quite obviously willed it. I shall be wearing a white suit with a pink carnation and sporting an attractive hat. -

Well.... I think that deserves a response. Where would you put Scones then? Mal mentioned scones, and I quote: Mal - 'scones...'. Bearing in mind your new found desire as a 'cake supremacist' should you not have copied Mals word 'scones' to the cake corner? And before you say it, yes, I am aware that a scone plays on both teams due to its lack of actual sugar content. I shall look forward to your due course occurring; as you are, yourself, a Masterbaker, it is only fitting. -

To whom it may concern(Apech7), As I have been very disturbed by heinous copying of a biscuit recipe to 'cake corner' I have spent hours trawling the net to prove that cakes and biscuits do have some relevance to the topic being discussed. My search was not in vain, as I came upon a very reputable survey from a secret website that you will not be able to find(due to your lack of website finding experience). Here below is proof positive of the relevance of sex/cakes/biscuits AND Japan: There is no need to apologize Apech, I fully understand. We all make mistakes. Let that be an end of it! -

I cannot express enough my deepest joy at being copied to 'Cake corner'. I do, however, think you have made a gross error of judgement. Uncooked chocolate bars are in fact a 'biscuit' and not a cake. Therefore, it is plain(chocolate)to see that I have been mis-categorized. Usually when my biscuits have been misrepresented I would look the other way, yet I find this harder and harder to do these days. I understand that in the world of desserts it is necessary for biscuits to be integrated, however, not at the expense of a biscuits sovereign identity. Whereas I recognize a form of biscuit/cake apartheid is not what anyone wants, it is disturbing that uncooked chocolate bars would so quickly be simply added to that section. Disturbed and confused.
