I think there is a place for both modern Western medicine and TCM and other natural modalities. As a practitioner of TCM obviously I love what I do and think its great for a great number of things, but I am glad we have modern medicine as well, especially in the cases of trauma. Most of my professors were from China or Taiwan and they didn't have the divide like we do here. They would just learn modern Western medicine and TCM simultaneously. It's good to have lots of tools in one's toolbox.

Actually if we are going to be doing a trans Q&A I think talking about the topic of trolls is a pretty relevant one. It is actually very common for trans people to get trolled. What the trolls do is often they will try to appear to be asking legitimate questions but the intent is malicious. One way to tell is that no matter how many questions you answer they keep pressing their point to under mind you. They very often open statements with phrases like "I don't mean to be offensive" and the proceed to be offensive. It's not really that difficult to distinguish people that are genuine from trolls. They will also often ask non-questions, like "why do you think being trans is a real thing" or something to that effect.

There's a big difference between questions and answers and trolling somebody. I think those of us that are lgbtq+ can understand the difference between sincere questions and trolling pretty quickly.

I feel like the TTC is much more gender ambiguous than our modern society is. Also even though I identify as a Buddhist lately I absolutely prefer reading the TTC.

Before. My energy has always been feminine. I got told I was girly all the time as a kid in school.

I find this interesting because back when I was doing these kinds of practices I thought the LDT was relatively simple to access and activate but I always have had a lot of issue with the MDT but I had never heard anyone articulate this and it's interesting to think about now.
