  1. Dear Apech sir, Being open to correction, I've always assumed Hinduism's an umbrella term for the myriad religions that originates from that region, whereas Indian is a descriptive term for a specific race of people, and also for the purpose of citizenry. An Indian by race may not necessarily be a Hindu, while most Hindus are Indians, if that makes any sense. I have friends who practice Hinduism who are not Indians, and also some Indian ones who are Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Jains, atheists, agnostics, free thinkers.

Dominos is so past, Manitou. In recent times, God & the Devil have started liking chess & poker, it seems.

Quick question to anyone in the know: Would copying images (like the one above) be construed as rights infringement?

No fear of serious damage at our end. Under the watchful eye of our gardener, we crafted sabres out of fallen papaya tree leaf stems. Because of strong attachment to "our" painstaking effort to craft the "swords" as much as the endeavour would allow, the fragility of said instruments demanded that we only indulged in contactless swordplay, and, much later, in the evolution of pretentious acquisitions of kung fu prowess, found depth in the meaning of the term "Shadow boxing".

I wonder if the kick one gets from playing such games resembles in some way how some folks, in consuming diet cola, think they're making healthy lifestyle choices... hmm...

  16. Exhaustion could arise when the notion of Non Doing is improperly primed in one's understanding. The literalness of it being the option taken, resulting in achieving the exact opposite of what was intended.

I think dangers arise where the mind, already containing the potential for both rational and irrational proclivities, becomes further obscured by laziness, sloth, carelessness, and so on, where such learned habitual characteristics overshadow the otherwise inborn intelligence which allows the majority of people to process distinctions between fantasy and reality without much effort. Corresponding to the gradual dwindling in the numbers of the majority who are otherwise guided by conscience and rationale sees the increase in the potential for reactive-prone events that either occur to an individual, or a society, for the equilibrium to go off-kilter. Those with the intent to manipulate the singular or the collective consciousness simply does things that purposefully agitates that potential so as to increase the odds of reaching the desired outcomes, whatever those may be. I learned this from watching The Matrix.

Might be worth bearing in mind that loonie in El Paso quoted trump, not Grand Theft Auto.... not Street Fighter... not Mortal Kombat... not Assassins Creed.

  20. Everyone post some favorite quotes!

"If intelligence from another world were to descend and ask of the earth the most perfect creation, I would offer the humble comb of honey." ~ Maurice Maeterlinck, The Life Of The Bee, 1924 ~
  21. I was rather intrigued by the claim re. the current trade war with China benefitting Russia.
  22. Here's a somewhat extreme but also in some parts sensible rant of how America is under siege from within. Its not a pleasant read, so discretion advised.
  23. Got it. I know, but no denying there's some traces of old karma lurking somewhere though. Exactly how old, and where, I'll leave that to the immortals to ascertain... jk
  24. Good idea. Just please make it totally exclusive. Only the scores of genuine seekers who flock here regularly to learn Mopai get to access the room. Anyone outside of this space even think the word "mopai" gets redirected there pronto. Any posts in the general area that even contains the letters M and O gets redirected there pronto. If it was mistakenly rerouted, then just edit and remove oneself out of there. Cheers and bye.
