Not sure how helpful it will be, but there's a pdf article entitled Original Purity and the Arising of Delusion by Jamie Hubbard that explores in some detail the subject of gzhi (the impure mind) and kun gzhi (the impure mind's original essence). Its quite technical so may not be an easy read for some. Buddhatantra at some level relates to the unlocking of potential of the kun gzhi and allowing that particular resonance to perfume over both the seed aspect and maturation aspect of the alaya consciousness in order to effect transformation. It asserts that gzhi and kun gzhi are fundamentally not two separate "minds", but only appears so due to individual habitual tendencies.

I think their motivation for crossing the border will not be assuaged simply by the lack of proper facilities at detention centres, but its just a guess. Maybe you're right. Maybe they expect 4* facilities... who knows.

Have you also read Ken Wilber's A Brief History of Everything? Some say Wilber share some very similar philosophical views with Capra, and perhaps was influenced by him to some degree. When I read Capra being mentioned, I thought of Wilber, then of wondering if you have perhaps read some of Wilber's works too.

From the reports i've just read, its clear that your claim has left out many pertinent details which give a truer picture of whats actually being negotiated, with both sides agreeing on many issues regarding humanitarian aid to the detention centres. So no, they did not literally say they do not want to improve conditions. Thats simply an inaccurate statement which has no basis in fact.

Is this an example of the kind of dignified position of the Republicans that you touted above in explaining how liberals are welcomed to air their views here freely and without reservation? Republican ethics are somewhat of a new subject that Im trying to understand, and this feels like a good place to explore and learn.

In his introduction to Dr Nida Chenagtsang's book Karmamudra: The Yoga of Bliss, Ben Joffe wrote, "As a Highest Yoga Tantra practice, Karmamudra is linked with the so-called ‘Perfection’ or ‘Completion Stage’ (Dzogrim) in Tibetan Buddhism. This stage of practice involves working with the energies and architecture of the subtle body and with highly refined states of awareness in very advanced ways. It is thus regarded as one of the highest echelons of esoteric Buddhism and has traditionally been off-limits for all but the most well-trained and elite practitioners. As Dr Nida mentions in his foreword, over the centuries secrecy has helped to ensure that extremely powerful but easily misunderstood and misapplied Tantric Buddhist practices have been practiced and preserved safely and correctly, and have maintained their integrity." This would explain the limits of my knowledge on this subject since im still miles off from being a well-trained practitioner of authentic yoga tantra. As a result, I feel inadequate to even consider opening my options to other forms of esoterica that places emphasis on subjects that Im not yet confident about even in my own tradition, one which I've been trying to keep pace with for a number of years now. I realize there are some who strongly favour mixing inner knowledge from Daoism, Hindu Tantra, Patanjali's Eight Limbed Yoga, Kabbala, Sufism, Jainism, and a whole plethora of other secretive practices made accessible in this modern era, and feel the urge and have the gumption to match their appetite for such pan-tradition esoterica - this sounds quite fascinating, even adventurous, but I'd rather refrain from such urges. Maybe Im just too much of an old-school traditionalist, or over cautious, or both. Anyways, I digress.

Is that a vital part of your practice, being able to "see" energy? I believe the mind has potential to access rituals that will yield siddhis if that is what one desires, but its not something that Im particularly concerned about. Supposedly, within the 8 classifications of siddhis (common to Buddhist esoterica, which is somewhat different to KS esoterica) I'd imagine that exposure to learning how to map out or "scan" a person's energetic field will be a basic but essential skill to develop. Its just a speculation though.

You mean things thats been going on pre-Trump and will long persist post-Trump, right? I hope you are not positing the idea that this present admin is actually donning the avengers cape to help transform all that you see is wrong in your country? Or are you? lol

Would it have any similarity to what is being shared in this vid?

I see. From your understanding, how does one get to that *state? *bolded

Wot?? Where did that come from? Is that even a thing in America? Or has American capitalism been largely functioning and reaping the rewards therein, the other way round all this time? At least thats how it seems to be in most countries that are immigrant-dependent. You say the Dems wish to profit in a way to suggest that the other side is somehow more magnanimous and ethical? Im not so sure if thats even on point. God its hard to keep quiet lol

May I ask about the significance of developing the capability to feel thoughts as movements of energy, and in what way does such a capability benefit the maturing of rigpa?

One can do better than to justify mismanagement due to previous administrative errors. Even a novice manager will have learnt this, hopefully, if they have even a smidgen of intelligence. But I like your onslaught of assumptions that others have fallen short on their attentiveness to whats really going on. lol

One thing's for sure.... the next leader will have at his or her disposal a large blueprint of mistakes to use as a format in order to be better guided with more discretion. Anyone that comes after certainly will have a much easier job of gaining public support.

My position has been consistent all along - Im not taking sides - certainly my criticisms of Trump should not be indicative of support for his critics and those you call clowns, but merely a wish to pay attention to the details, many of which are self inflicted, of a gradual disintegration of a figure in an uncomfortable, ill-prepared position of power who keeps shooting himself in the foot. Its a comedy of errors somewhat, and thats what sustains my interest in this current time of the state of affairs in the US. Im constantly amazed by the amount of leeway afforded this guy - like, aren't any of you even slightly embarrassed by the never-ending bloopers that come out of this individual and his immediate circle of staffers, that, by their own actions, clearly show that the WH is underperforming due to a leader that has no clear idea of even the most basic function, that of manning a proper management structure and administering accordingly? Instead, you have a whole administration consisting of would-be heads of depts who are all in acting roles, unsure of their responsibilities, resulting in resignation after resignation, and those that remain whose loyalties are predicated on blind worship and zero accountability demanded of them due to the interimness of their appointments. Anyway, having learnt from previous experience, im not going to continue indulging in back and forths here as its a waste of time and energy. You guys have fun.

Joe, you're still as delusional as before bro.

Seeing, Recognising & Maintaining One's Enlightening Potential

~ Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche ~ When looking into the nature of mind, don’t expect to gain some exceptionally high or profound realization, or to see anything new. Nor should you hesitate or doubt your ability to meditate. Just trust that the nature of mind is simply the mind itself left in an unaltered state, and do all that you can to sustain this, without distraction, at all times, during and between the meditation sessions. Don’t expect to gain realization in just a few months, or even years. Whether you develop any of the qualities that come from the practice or not, remain steadfastly determined and resolve to continue the practice with diligence, day and night, throughout this life, future lives and the bardo state. -
