Wow man, that was so totally deep. I am a star wars fan myself. The thing about a lot of star wars literature is that things go quite deep on a philosophical level, but many people miss that and prefer the overt plot rather than the implications. But you get it. I heart you lol. I just posted something adressing the same exact topic in another thread. Probably not so deep as yours but i try. We share the same viewpoint that just saying no doesn't exactly cut it. thread

I do not see why all of you seem to be so intent on wanting someone else to be spiritually mature from the very beginning. I find this not very intelligent nor a reasonable expectation, its like telling someone that they should think that a 5- star restaurant's food is better than anything else even before they've tried McDonald's. In short, have nothing to compare it with. Its just plain nonsensical. There's nothing wrong with wanting something new and crazy and different that seemed impossible to do before. It's like a parent chastising their children not to do this and that, of course the intent is good but more often than not, a child's true learning comes from being bruised and bumped, from experience itself and not mere words of "don't do this or don't do that cuz it's bad!".. How many of us have been told not to do something when we were kids? And even though did it anyway? And even though we got scathed we couldn't help but feeling wiser comparing to someone just telling us how it would be? In my experience there are those who mature spiritually who through developing their energy capabilities. And then again there are those who don't, but it's up to each individual. Some learn quite quickly, and some never do. But i think what sometimes many of you don't understand is that something mundane like this leads to much deeper realization. It depends on the conciousness of the individual though. For example, in my practice of Kalimasada before standing on flourescent bulbs without them breaking from the heaviness of my own bodyweight seemed like an impossiblity. Or breaking a ceramic tile with a lightbulb packed with chi. Or being lifted 3 feet in the air while standing and 2 sheets of newspaper. It all seems so amazing and surreal that this is possible. And when I finally did achieve it the feeling was euphoric. But give it 6 months and the high is gone it's no longer something that's a miracle but a given. You just expect it to happen. In short the wise soul could desire to do something "supernatural" like this. But upon his achievement it grants him much wisdom -that the high is gone, and the realization that no matter how large his capacity to do things like these, its just another high that will go away and leave him wanting more. Thus, the search for a true awakening and spirituality begins. But with someone who does not have a wise or perceptive soul would go bumping from thing to thing like this -bam! I shielded myself from an attack with chi -bam! i healed my own cold in 30 minutes -bam! i broke a bottle using chi! and never be truly satisfied. You could say it accelerates karma because the clean soul becomes cleaner with his insight, while the other souls become tainted more and more with their own lust until they realize their state of lacking.. This is the reason why masters do not teach the truly hardcore stuff openly because of childish souls would openly abuse this. But a taste or two should reveal quite quickly which kind of soul you are. Spiritual maturity depends on the individual -but it cannot be hastened before its time. Peace and Love to you all.

Immortals vs. Bodhisattvas (or arahats)?
Kali Yuga replied to Kali Yuga's topic in General Discussion
I find this very thought provoking. If I remember correctly is that the daoist belief is that upon death the spirit disintegrates into different components who do not re unite? Very parallel to ancient egyptian and hindu beliefs it seems.. I think it was something like the lines of, "immortality is achieved only when the parts of one's spirit was fully integrated and united with all every other part" or something like that. Someone please correct me if this is erroneous or something, I am new to all this Taoist stuff but i find it intriguing. I dont even remember where i got this. probably here -
drew, you truly are in your own league and deserve your own forum. it's not that you are brilliant or that i'm affirming it, nor is it that you just talk too much or that i mean that either, but it's just that no one here can really relate or banter to you on the same level. you're so knowledgeable about what you say or at least appear so, that no one can really debate or discuss what you say. i mean, you leave everyone dumbfounded.. not that that's bad either because even now i still learn from what you say. it's good that you're here to teach us what you can, we appreciate it really. I learn more from you everyday. my only comment is that you seem to equate everything with full lotus and it seems to me that if you could eat, sleep, drink, drive to work and take a shower in full lotus you would. I definitely know what you mean about other people sucking up and trying to take advantage of your sex energy cuz i've experienced it and have my own way of handling it when i do feel it.. I'm just suggesting that maybe there is something beyond full lotus and all that. of course i wouldn't know what it is, but we're all counting on u to tell us when u finally find it. peace and more power to you man. Indonesia has a rich heritage of stuff like that. yogic and occult disciplines and "inner energy" power etc.. but good luck learning some of that stuff because a lot of what people teach there is intertwined with islamic dogma and beliefs. A requirement to learn things there sometimes include you having to be a muslim. We're lucky that we're kalimasadans because we don't have to deal with all that crap. What you saw was a keris, or "kris" and traditionally they are infused with a kind of spirit when they are made, some are made for luck, other for power and etc. They are symbols of status and power.Hence, a true keris will manifest something given the right conditions. For example in the Ring of Fire: East of Krakatoa documentary, a master creates a field of yin energy which allows the spirit inside the keris to move the keris.

LOL. What is it with the taoist/buddhist thing on this forum? same difference right?

This is accomplished by chi -internal energy. He demonstrated marvelous use of his chi right here. Hard breakers or people who train with pure muscular force and pure mental strain usually have a hard time doing this. If anything they can break top to bottom but seldom select breaks within a stack. This is quite similar to what we do in Kalimasada where we train to pop out the bottom of a glass bottle with a slap. You see it is so hard to break it with pure muscular force -the bottle is made of more solid material than the flesh of one's hand. But add a little chi and presto -bottom pops right out. My friend who lifts 250lbs on the bench press near broke his hand trying to do it. but if you gots the "juice" then its no biggie. its not your muscle -it's your chi! My teacher tells me of an elderly woman in Indonesia breaking an iron bar over her knee who is about a year senior than me in training. Amazing stuff really.

A few nights ago while meditating to try and heal myself ( I had diarrhea) i decided to splinter off a part of my meditation for that night into trying a technique that i had learned years ago from a book called the Silva Mind Control Method (my first taste of meditational technology).. Basically the technique is to lower your brain wave frequency.. then using a deeper aspect of your mind, summoning a guide from within yourself. Just taking a backseat and letting your imagination create the answers that you seek. The thing is that after fooling around with a lot of things in my life but finding no satisfaction in them (booze, drugs, women etc) I have tired of them, and of wasting my energy on useless things. I feel that I am ready for a new aspect of my life to emerge and desire to devote myself purely to internal alchemy and to become something more, in a spiritual and energetic sense. I mean, i practice a form of tenaga dalam which is absolutely awesome, but our master is hardly ever in the country and i feel that I need a teacher who will be there more often for me so i can make more progress and show me deeper aspects of training, of which deep internal alchemy i am most interested. Which is why when I practiced the technique the following scene emerged: I was on the steps of a monastery, guarded by two monks. They finally opened the doors and I saw before me (to my curiosity) an owl, swaddled in monk's robes (definitely reminds me of the old cartoon series Mighty Max, which also had a bit of esotericism). I conversed with him and after learning his name he told me that "the first step I must take is to unify the heart with the earth". I ask him how do I do this and why, and he stares at me blankly as if either I was stupid, or just merely dumb. And this was the end of that. This is an archetype at work. However, I am not sure if I should trust this or not, or even what to make of it. As far as I know, earth energy is often quite contaminated and to unify my heart with it would mean to pollute my heart chakra. I am just wondering if any of you could provide insight into any of this.

This is very simple and a common problem to those who make progress along the path. A lot of people think that "oh yeah i'll just do my practice and i'll just feel better and nothing too much in my life will change, i'll only get positive stuff from all of this etc." Depending on your practice, your sensitivity may develop slowly or quite fast. Not that one is more better than the other because if you aren't ready for what you are getting it doesn't matter how fast you go. What people fail to understand is as they progress along a certain practice, energy flow is increased, and with this energy comes a great deal of things, some good and some not so good if you can't handle it. Sensitivity is definitely a double edged sword. What is essentially happening is that with a practice your energetic, less material bodies are being built up. These are your bodies in a similar fashion that your physical body is your "body". With the awakening of these bodies comes senses and sensitivity alike to the senses we have with our fleshly body. So instead of having to deal with everything that comes with the physical dimension, we also have to learn to deal with the next dimension and its own peculiarities at the same time. It's easier said than done. Hence why you can pick up so much bad stuff from almost doing nothing if you're not careful. So you have to develop your own set of tools to deal with this. Scotty gave a good list of things that could help you. I personally would recommend learning a preventive measure that you would use as daily ritual instead of just a cleansing practice. The advantage that this has is that instead of picking up bad energy and then having to spit it all out later (like a dirty, used whore ) you prevent it from sticking to you in the first place. So I would suggest that you learn and gain proficiency in creating energetic shields. Kok Sui has some very good stuff on that. Particularly his book "Practical Psychic Self-Defense for Home & Office." Ask if you want more on that.

SereneBlue, Santiago has had much training in the Indonesian martial art of Silat, from what I hear. Indonesia truly has a rich heritage of both yogic and martial art.. There are quite a few groups in Indonesia which do a huge number of freaky things. Walking through a huge tunnel of fire unscathed, manipulating and throwing opponents at a distance with pure energy.. it seems to be a fad over there, where people put their energy to the test. Indonesia is nuts man. Kalimasada is quite similar to Silat, aside from the combative forms.. It is the energy work without the heavy martial component. Silat is both external and internal art; Kalimasada is purely internal work. I would not be surprised if our breathing technique and the one that Santi uses, are the same. Most yogic traditions utilize very similar technique. But then again there are bound to be differences in our practice from KAP. I do not believe you are taught the forms of "jurus" in KAP. Ask Santi if you are interested more in KAP. Ask SirYuri and myself if you are curious about Kalimasada.
-
Lol! Kudos to you Pare! I would do the same thing and post basic techniques but then my inbox would be flooded. I am not willing to go through the trouble of replying to all those PMs. People asking me about the jurus etc.. I usually tell them to just go find a group XD I know how you feel, everytime I practice Kalimasada with the Duduk Nafas while listening to the audio i'm like, what the heck does all this mean? (voice speaks in indonesian). Ah, go figure. Anyways, my contribution: Usually within Tenaga Dalam systems people undergo what is referred to as a connection, or energy attunement. Usually the master of whatever Tenaga Dalam system you are working with will fine-tune the inner energy you have cultivated and even give you a boost. Amazing mystical experiences can result with diligent practice and attunement. I myself have had several of these and will testify to it. The way we do it in my particular Kalimasada practice is we have Duduk Nafas (sitting cross legged while making Takan). Our sessions begin with a prayer and Duduk Nafas. And end with Duduk Nafas and a prayer. You also have Jurus. Jurus is like karate or taekwondo katas. Repeated sequential movement with the arms and body. They differ because their main purpose is to cultivate and purify inner energy centers. The Jurus are done along with the Takan or Triangular Press Breathing. Basically you breathe through the belly very deeply and then *lock* by locking the throat, contracting the belly muscles hard, and pulling your anal and perineal muscles inward. The anal press is very important because without it you will blow all your chi out of your ass. The hotter the air in your belly feels the better you are doing it. Longer is better. You definitely need a teacher to show you your way. It is incredibly hard to learn about inner energy and the things you can do with it and how to do it. Trying to learn all this yourself is like stumbling around in the dark in a place you don't know. If it was so easy then tons of people would be high-level telekinetics with amazing ilmu (powers). People should realize that it's not easy at all to understand the mechanism which this all works in the beginning unless you are some hard-core yogin who goes pure veg and meditates for days in a cave etc. Enough for now. Peace be with you all. Kali

I live in the Philippines and practice this art. There are a great deal of things I have seen and even a few I have done through Kalimasada. The energy duels are called "Adu Pancar". It is a strange thing seeing an old man fly across the room without being hit. Or seeing a fragile little bulb crush a ceramic tile. Or even bounce along concrete floor instead of break into a hundred pieces. The greatest lesson so far I have learned is that it proved to me that the mind truly is powerful; thoughts are literally concrete things not abstractions that float in the air. When doing your light bulb test you will prove to yourself that self-belief is the only way you will get things done, and self doubt is your enemy. No matter how much you charge the bulb with energy, if you doubt yourself, the bulb will break. If you believe and accept that the bulb is strong enough, it will bounce somewhat like a ball. To quote Jesus (speaking to Peter when he tries but fails to walk with him on the water), "why did you doubt"? As to the practicality, such as in a fight, it is not all the time that you have to consciously use these powers. Some practitioners report that these happen spontaneously in appropriate moments. It is about mind control, discipline, and psychic sensitivity. It is a bit like a martial art in the sense that you have forms called jurus which are a bit like katas in taekwondo, and that you cannnot advance a rank if you fail a connection test in front of the Grandmaster Pak Eddy or his wife Ibu Ida.. Some tests include sensing energy disruptions in another's body, others are of a telekinetic nature like being lifted on a few sheets of newspaper without them tearing. It is also a healing art. My friend Philip Aguhob amazed his doctor when he went for a routine check up. The doctor said that his congenital heart disease had completely disappeared. I am proud of him, here was a kid who never told a soul that he had a sickness. He didn't want other people to pity or feel sorry for him. Then he found out that was gone and then told everyone. I am not claiming that it was due to the Kalimasada but then again one main goals in Kalimasada is to help accelerate the natural healing ability of the body. I am very happy with the results I have so far with it. My sensitivity to chi has increased very much and I have learned many things about my self. I apologize if I am gushing here, I am so lucky to learn it. I hope someday some of you will have experience with this wonderful art. Kali

Women, my friend, are the source of some of the highest highs and lowest lows that a man can go through. Although sometimes I have the same emotional problems much of this I have learned to control and . I believe it is a man's right to not be afraid of his own sexuality and to have beautiful women in his life. Which is why experimentation and experience with women and learning from those who are better than you in this certain field helps. Women are certainly the most complicated thing god put on earth for men; we can learn rocket science but never figure out women. lol. a study of feminine psychology will help. women's minds operate on completely different lines, thinking like a man to figure out a woman will not help you. But I digress. The reason why you feel this way is because you suffer from a "lacking" mentality. You feel deep down inside, even though you may not know it, a bitterness or a resentment at yourself for "not being good enough" or at her for being such a bitch (although she's gorgeous so you're more likely to forget that part) but still want her. You feel let down and deceived by what you very much expected, and now you're still clutching to that woman and what your conception of what could be together. All of which brings pain. A good fixer-upper for this kind of situation is to go into mindfulness meditation. Get into the seat of your choice, and feel your body with utmost concentration from top to bottom. relax and just FEEL. Dont judge the feelings or your thoughts -if you do it will be like trying to get out of a trap by further strangling yourself. What will happen if you do this correctly is that you should notice after 15-20 minutes of this meditation the body sensations which manifest themselves as your intense emotional FEELINGS like jealousy, resentment, self-pity, anger, will all dissolve slowly. and your body and mind will find its stillness and peace. The second step is learning to utilize your subconscious mind properly. 99% of all people are destroying their ability to recieve grace and love and attractive women into their life. Why? Because the subconscious mind is a much larger part of the human being than the conscious mind. And it is influenced by the things you say to yourself inside your head. Anything negative you say in your head, even if there is a negative situation happening in the external reality will attract more of the same. You say "I suck" or "i'm just not handsome or confident enough" and the subconscious gives you the same in life. Be careful of what you say to yourself and make sure to only say and feel positive vibes.. Choose to be happy regardless of circumstance and your strength will be that of a mountain. The most powerful thing you can possibly ever do here is to LET GO. Are you brave enough to give up your own clutching, your resistance to what is, and let the universe decide? Are you brave enough to expect nothing but let things come to YOU for a change? Are you brave enough to accept the fact that life could go on without a partner? Are you brave enough to go outside your own mind and all the mindgames you play with yourself? Can you live in the moment not clinging to past or forcing the future? Only the bravest of the brave have the strength to do this - and this is what separates the lions from the mice. This is the hallmark of a spiritual warrior.

Lol. You hit it right on the head man. Theres too much BS going on in the forum, "MY SYSTEM IS BETTER -NO, MY SYSTEM IS BETTER!" Yogic diet a way to achieve breatharianism?
Kali Yuga replied to mewtwo's topic in General Discussion
oh shit talk about jailbait man. I probably would've tapped it cuz i'm such a whore like that, but ehh.. sex with underage women. Lets play the game "who wants to go to jail?" Might as well move to France. -
Yes? Maybe? I'm sorry for being absolutely wrong. You know best. I should stop my qigong too altogether. It's not christian.
-
Well you've taken the first step, which is finding a guru/adept who is well versed in that matter. In the mean time you will most definitely want to find a tape of a powerful mantra, like AUM or OM MANI PADME HUM. Have it play on and on in your room while you are sleeping. It should help at least for the meantime.
-
Lol. I like a lot of your posts, you have this strange ability to refute other people's opinions with very simple but powerful wisdom. I am glad you are here on taobums. Also, avatar reference? I SEE YOU TOO lol

I don't know but is it normal for a person to need to stiffen up their muscles almost to the point of cramping in order to take pleasure in having sex with a woman? Even when I get in bed with a female that I consider quite attractive I always seem to have this problem. Even doing thrusting while one top gets to be a task more than a pleasure. I only achieve an orgasm when she is on top, and I get to stiffen up my leg and foot muscles.. This is probably a problem. Lol.
-
At last, a plausible explanation for this. I have known this technique for a long time now but I suppose they teach it wrong. When I said I don't really get it so on and so forth they always emphasized "you should do it for longer!". I always wanted to know the fundamental theory behind this. Then this technqique probably does have validity to it, only those who taught it placed the emphasis on the wrong thing and did not emphasize the awareness and energetic component. Thank you for explaining it in more detail.
-
The experience i had with this group insisted that the longer you do it on an everyday basis the more your aura expands and the more you benefited from it. They would even go so far as to insist that if you feel no benefits from it obviously you don't do it long enough. Begging the whole question. So tell me, you havent done this exercise but you have done a multitude of similar ones? Now, tell me, all cultish bullshit aside, what exactly are the practical benefits of this you're talking about? How is this a useful and practical tool? Just trying to keep it real.

How to Contact The Ascended Masters
Kali Yuga replied to fiveelementtao's topic in General Discussion
I think the request for a blessing has to be heartfelt. There was this time after my kalimasada practice I invoked the blessings of a liberated yogi to help me achieve a higher level. I figured, hey, I'm not really used to this stuff, but whatever helps.. That night I had an amazing experience with what I believe is kundalini. I was laying down in bed when all of a sudden this strange thought came to me, "the next step in your path is to realize you are a body of light." And then I don't know how but it happened. My body exploded in pure light, and it was exceedingly powerful and bright light. here was this spiraling sensation at the bottom of my spine. But it was not blissful etc. I was scared as fuck. I was kind of paralyzed. I've read too many kundalini horror stories and I just wanted it to go away. Eventually it did. Then I realize I just had one of the most amazing things happen in my whole life. And I didnt ride and take full advantage of it but instead was afraid of it. Fuck. -
This exercise is found in most Rosicrucian circles, and those tend to be quite cultish. I still think this is just some dumb exercise that you had to do in order to slowly be indoctrinated by their dogma. And then you believe all the things they have to say, no matter how crazy, after awhile of them saying jump and you saying how high. They call it the Pentagram or the "Maha chohan" and a bundle of other names. Usually you have to stand in that star posture, and then afterwards put your feet together with toes pointing out in a 45- degree angle from each other and clasp your hands together above the crown of your head, in a ratio that is 3:5. Thus, if you will stand for 9 minutes in the star posture you will stand in the latter for 15 minutes. Supposedly the first posture is the "active" and the later is the "passive" phase. They say that doing this exercise makes one disease resistant, and extra auspicious and even more attractive to the opposite sex! and so on and so forth. They usually teach this in all their recruitment seminars but I seriously have doubts about all those claims. The person teaching the seminar had a fairly large aura but ironically it seemed more like a marketing ploy. I did this before and well I haven't noticed anything much that changes. It gave me stronger upper shoulders but that was about it. Your body sweats through the muscle strain and your willpower is tested, but heck you can get that through any physical exercise. I did not really see any marked development in myself, or any extra health or "auspiciousness". I think that his was just an exercise invented to develop willpower, but that is easily developed through meditation. Anyone else have experience with it?
