Strange, I remember saying that. I quote myself.

Aaarrrgh! From reading all that stuff I feel as if my brain will explode. Information overload. You ever get the feeling that you're drowning in your own confusion and that you'll never get done that which you want to? Kinda feel like that way. It's like one of those nightmare dreams where you're running towards something but the more you run the farther in moves into the distance. Ultimately this energy business seems so complicated and confusing. Just looking at the past posts give rise to so many questions... What practice? Which posture? What meditation? What food(to eat)? No sex? A million more come up the more I think about it. Note that I talk not just about kundalini but the whole energy knowledge/practice thing. My western conditioned mind tells me I have to figure out all this factual stuff but the more or less taoist thing is to just let the confusion be and accept it.

Hi guys... Kali Yuga here. Found you guys after a long time and a lot of wandering through different forums on the web. This forum seemed differently interesting and openly talked about a wide range of eclectic topics, especially energy cultivation which was what got me really interested.. So here I am. Tried to post right away in the other section but turns out I have to be a good boy and say hi lol.. So.. Hi. ;-) Can I post in the other sections now? Can I? Can I? Pleeaaase? *sparkly glowing eyes* lol. Just call me Kali. I chose the name because I found the Hindu concept of the Kali Yuga very interesting and striking.. I'll probably start a thread on that later. Anyway, I'm not exactly taoist but a wide spectrum of different things.. An eclectic of sorts. I'm here to learn new things. I've always been interested in the occult and magickal rituals, and generally also most forms of Eastern spirituallity. I know most of you practice more generally chinese related forms of energy cultivation but I was wandering if any of you practiced Tetada Kalimasada or any form of Tenaga Dalam? I just started this form of energy cultivation and it feels wonderful.. After each practice I feel a sort of sparkly tingly kind of heat in my body and I love it. Please just pop in and say hi and maybe chime in if you're a bit similarly oriented. :-)

Well sadly I'm in a position not unlike your own.. But I'm not the one whose advice you're looking for. I know dude it's totally unfair, losing all that wonderful energy because you can't hold back the temptation of a session of good ol' raunchy, sweaty kinky sex. Especially when you don't see your girlfriend for awhile. Her mere prescence escalates my own energy through the roof and makes the temptation increase fourfold. Yeah, I remember a post from Witch saying fish oil and zinc.. Hell, why not? She wrote a book about it. But from what I hear even before starting any of the semen retention practices it is important to get a good foundation in basic things like inner smile and some strengthening exercises in contracting your PC muscle.. Hopefully others can help more. Namaste, Kali

Wow now that you mention it the Grandmaster of Tetada Kalimasada (another energy cultivation system) , Pak Eddy Surohadi, whom I just met, really matches your words to the dot. You can forgive me for being a bit enamored with the man but I have never seen a man who looks quite like him. He is approaching 60 years old from what they tell me. He has gray hair but he literally has the youngest skin I've ever seen on a fully grown man. He looks younger than a 20 year old and has the proverbial "saintly" almost feminine looking hands. I believe you've picked a good criterion too.. If they are such masters as people claim, why shouldn't it show on them? Let themselves be a testimony to their own power and practice, and let others judge for themselves. Other than that I've never met another quote and quote master in energy cultivation with that kind of appearance you mention.

Amazing. Wonderful post, that clears up a few of these things You know, I have sooo many of these strange experiences ranging from "psychic attacks" to "seeing spirits" to even this kundalini thing but most of them do not occur in full consciousness, when I look for them they do not materialize but when I try to sleep they happen. I do meditation at least twice everyday, the first in the afternoon any of a variety of mindfulness practices and the second my kalimasada session. But from reading your post it would seem to advance would be to slow down these brain waves. So this is what differentiates the gurus and "masters" from us? It seems that in normal life we hardly reach that deep level of brain activity. I bet it takes a lifetime to get that far.. *dreams off into the distance* btw you have experience with the kundalini? some people tell me its the one and all to enlightenment, other people say it's just another yoga. It just scared me, but then again that's probably just because I'm unfamiliar with it.

Hey! Thanks for posting. By the way.. Are you sure this isn't the right Kali? Both pictures have an image of kali stepping on another person, and the one depicted in my avatar seems about right.. But on further investigation you're probably right because the person she steps on has serpent hair.. Did not see that before. Lol. Just goes to show that I have a little farther to go on brushing up on hindu symbology.. thanks.
