Grounding technology that can take practice to whole new level
Nilo posted a topic in General Discussion
I'm no salesman but just thought this was a important topic that will boost anyone's practice manyfold. If you are like me then you spend hours every day to feel grounded because you pick up static energy easily. If I look back the only times I really felt truly connected/grounded was when I was barefoot on the earth. We wear insulation like socks, shoes, walk on carpets, linoneum, wood all day along. I came across an invention in my opinion that will revolutionise our culture. Many studies with doctors have been completed and results are shocking. The earth already provides natural antioxidants which we shelid from with insulation. No longer will we have to spend hours and hours to be grounded or allow static to build up in the body. I like to keep my practice simple, powerful and very efficient. I have found some DVDs which I really resonate with, let me know what your favorites are. My personal favorites are: Qi Gong For Beginners (Chris Pei): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001JXPBS8/ref=s9_simh_gw_p14_d0_g74_i5?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1G534WGMXKMMXG3DJPFD&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846 Alchemy of Qigong (3 DVD set with Pedram Shojai): http://www.amazon.com/Alchemy-Qi-Gong-Essential-Practices/dp/B002VG58J4/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1315278852&sr=1-1 Stand Still Be Fit! I have his book and the way I understand it he just says to stand for 1 hout a day and allow the movements to happen if they arise and however they arise, the movements will be unique to each individual. Works for me. The activations are not needed.

Ok, so if a guy has sex or masterbates and stops before he feels he is about to ejaculate, then starts up again and stops before he ejaculates, then starts up again (repeat cycle). So there is no release of semen at the end of sex. What will this do? I tried this and i am wondering what exactly happens in terms of jing building or jing loss?

After practice these days I feel like I have loads of energy and go about my day like a Warlord, I feel intense pulsing vibrations within. Problem is that the world is not a battlefield and my energy is too intense, unecessarily so. What do I need to do after practice to become calm and centered? Do I need to close my dan tien better? Ca anyone help guide me with this?

My advice is to just stand with knees slightly bent, and wiggle around or do slow sqauts when energy starts to feel difficult, and go back to standing. I call this standing meditation and it has helped me far more than any system of zhan zuhang.

Abraham Hicks - Do Desires Cause Suffering?
Nilo replied to DalTheJigsaw123's topic in General Discussion
I dig abraham-hicks but I believe Bashar is the most clear. Desires are the drive for life, without desire nothing can happen. When attachments to desires happen that is when suffering takes place. Follow your passion but don't cling. -

Practice grounds the realisations and acutalises them in your direct experience.

Peter Levine has good programs for trauma as well: In an Unspoken Voice: How the Body Releases Trauma and Restores Goodness [Paperback] Peter A. Levine http://www.amazon.com/Unspoken-Voice-Releases-Restores-Goodness/dp/1556439431/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1319398874&sr=8-1 -

For subtle tensions I use the tool of meditation. It's alot easier to meditate after the body has been relieved. -

Everyone has experienced trauma and we store it in our bodies, even small daily tensions get built up. For me, TRE really helped release alot of tight energy in my core and solar plexus area. I don't do it as often as before but I feel that doing it weekly is very beneficial. -
Yes I feel the same way. Patterns of good energy might manifest in your dream as Jenny or an angel or your deceased dog etc.

did you recieve the DVD? Please keep the thread updated of your practice. I'm ordering the DVd right now as well.

LOL amen bro, me too.

I prefer simplicity as well. I do recommend that you become a self scientist and see what works for you despite what anyone else says. This is what has been working for me: -just standing with knees comfortably bent and meditate as you would sitting down (for it is just allowing whatever arises in mind) -When standing becomes painful then I sit down, wiggle around and meditate. If this starts to feel dull or lifeless then I go back to standing. This practice has probably brought the biggest change for me personally.
