  1. Burning tongue tip touching roof during energy work

Pain Is not necessary to make progress. Just relax, then relax more. The Way is natural and unhurried. My 2 cents, Peace
  2. EMF Pollution Protection II

Been having the same problems. When my dad leaves the tv on even if its on the black screen it drives me crazy. Also I can have my IPad to close to my body otherwise it starts to bother me , especially in my crotch. My 2 cents, Peacr
  3. Hello :-)

    Welcome to the forum.
  4. Getting sick and cultivation

Supposedly fasting while sick Is a healthy practice as it boosts your immune systems response because you are not digesting food and all of your energy goes to fighting off infection. Have yet to try it but I have heard others talk about there results with it. My 2 cents, Peace
  5. Christian Mysticism

Kyriacos Markides, the author of the Magus of Strovolos does some digging into esoteric Christianity: http://www.amazon.com/The-Mountain-Silence-Orthodox-Spirituality/dp/0385500920/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top My 2 cents, Peace
  6. I was reading Magical Knowledge by Josephine McCarthy recently. She says that the energy level or the vibration we put out when we are having sex attracts a certain BEING depending on the frequency. If the sex is violent in nature then that will pull in a certain type of Being. If it is of a higher and subtler vibration then it could attract a more enlightened individual. Don't know if what she says is true, but it is definitely food for thought. My, 2 cents Peace
  7. TV

I am currently learning the Wu 108 form from his videos. It's good stuff, I really like his style and flow. My 2 cents, Peace
  8. AE

Quite the profound story. Thanks for sharing Gerard.
  9. 1 of 2 Defined Paths

"Be the change that you wish to see in the world." Mahatma Gandhi. You only have the power to change yourself, others have to make their own life choices and live according to there own understanding. If someone is sincerely seeking I believe that it is our duty as practitioners to give them a point in the right direction and perhaps a tip or two if they need i based on our highlest level of understanding....but detachment is still the rule in all circumstances. My 2 cents, Peace
  10. I am that i am.

Hey Skyler, welcome to the forum. I have heard many good things about Spring Forest Chi Kung. Here is a free video of the level 1 technique Moving of Yin and Yang, this combined with Microcosmic Orbit is supposedly the most powerful techniques in the system. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gr5MkMLyoeI Also an interview with Chunyi Lin: http://thetaobums.com/topic/16067-interview-with-chunyi-lin-of-spring-forest-qigong/ Enjoy your stay at the TaoBums. My 2 cents, Peace
  11. All of us our going to transcend the flesh eventually via death. I would see Taoism more as learning to work and live in harmony with Heaven and Earth rather than trying to escape one to get to the other. My 2 cents, Peace
  12. Tarot as a Magical Tool?

  13. Tarot as a Magical Tool?

Hey Bagua, I was look at that deck and there seems to be this term "The Night Side of Eden" floating around on many books. Does this refer to the qlippoth aspects of the spheres? What is the night side of the tree? My 2 cents, Peace
  14. Diggin the new pic Seth.
  15. Tarot as a Magical Tool?

Interesting stuff. Thanks for the input.
  16. Timing of Magic Over a Lifetime

My understanding is it depends on the type of spirit. Nature spirits, elementals, deities.....etc...I am sure you could find a book on the topic or just ask. Generally, when we ask answers will intuitively "well up" in our minds. My 2 cents, Peace
  17. Franz Bardon's system

You make many valid points Sloppy. I concede intellectual defeat, if you feel it is a good system or an inter alchemical approach then by all means pursue it. My 2 cents, Peace
  18. Timing of Magic Over a Lifetime

Making offerings is also a way of communicating and expressing ones sincerest apologies. My 2 cents, Peace
  19. Tarot as a Magical Tool?

Hey Bagua and SonofGods, I had another question regarding the Tarot and Pathworking. There are 4 different cards for each sphere, I assume each card refers to a different world (Atziluth, Briah.....etc). How does each card vary ones work with each sphere in your experience? My 2 cents, Peace
  20. Franz Bardon's system

All good points Friend. Thanks of making them. My 2 cents, Peace
  21. Franz Bardon's system

Sloppy Zhang.....you make many highly generalized statements and assumptions in your post regarding many topics, I am at a loss of words to address any of them from any kind of authoritative stand point giving they are deep and intricate topics and many beyond the scope of my knowledge, nor do I have the patience to do so. Perhaps you are right that Bardon is a system of Internal Alchemy depending on what your definition of that is....however I still find a distinct difference between what he teaches which are basically techniques versus the thousands of hours of meditation that one must do in order to transmute oneself, perhaps i will change my perspective in the future, but i doubt it. I couldn't find the link to mistele's article on Tai Chi, could you post it here. My 2 cents, Peace
  22. Tarot as a Magical Tool?

Been meditating on the tree and cards for an little over a year now. With Pathworking....only done it once. Thanks for the insights, I'd like to keep my sanity, god knows I am already loopy enough. My 2 cents, Peace
  23. Tarot as a Magical Tool?

Hey SonofGods, had another question on this topic. I just finished reading Modern Magick and he talks about Pathworking and he always starts from Malkuth in his examples, why is this? If you want to say explore Geburah couldn't you just jump through a five card to get there? What's the benefit of starting all the way from Malkuth and taking up to Geburah via a defined route? My 2 cents, Peace
