Be a real human being...have a real conversation...get to know the other person. If your a guy or girl whom just wants to have sex then its probably just better to get a prostitute or a male escort, that's what their there for...that way no one's time is wasted. -My 2 cents, Peace

When you move into the realm of the subtle...it should be understood that everything is subjective. One persons experience is not necessarily the same as the others. -My 2 cents, Peace -

One of my friends has done DMT a bunch of times. He says that when you do it your entire presence dissapears and you feel like you merge with everything else. Some crazy shit. Hopefully you'll eventually be able to get back to that state in a natural way. Best of luck. -My 2 cents, Peace -
Water Fasts or Juice Fasts are great for clearing out the digestive system. Get 7 gallons of Cranberry juice and drink one gallon a day for 7 days. You'll clear yourself out good.

Hey Taijibum, i noticed in some fo your videos that you talk about living one's life purpose after achieving the final stages of cultivation. I was wondering if you could elaborate a bit on what means for you and for people in general?

Headiness, when seeking truth an individual should not seek while full of expectations...if he does he will only discover what his ego allows of him. You seem to have an agenda of proving meditation is bad for people even when your confronted with a whole site of people whom have been practicing for years and have found no unhealthy side-effects except for of releasing our old attachments. Someone being hurt by meditation is by far more an exception than the rule. Meditation is a form of purifying the consciousness...purifying oneself can be a very painful process, but it is not unhealthy...it is actual the definition of what it means to be healthy. However, i would not recommend meditation for some-one whom is already psychologically unhealthy or to practice intense energy work outside the guidance of an instructor. -My 2 cents, Peace

The problem isn't the act of sex itself...but the fact that the teacher was preaching about being celibate and telling his students they should do the same when he was actually involved with a number of his students. He was talking the talk but not walking the walk. He didn't have to preach about being celibate or be celibate but he did so and therefore there is a level of responsibility on his end to be consistent with his own teachings. -My 2 cents, Peace

The answer to your questions and the false hood of some of your statements are obvious once you actually start practicing. Picking a field of study and creating a moderate and daily practice is the only way to develop an understanding beyond the superficial. -My 2 cents, Peace

If one takes the lonely route and does not practice under a teacher or have a teacher but rarely see him...i feel it is very very very important that you get in touch with your own Inner Teacher. If you listen to your Inner Teacher instead of your ego it will guide you and let you know when your towing the line between danger and safety and what you need at the moment and it will always guide you to greener pastures. However, it is still very important to have a teacher. -My 2 cents, Peace

Imagine a close friend is hanging out with you and your both are laughing and having a good time. However, your friend suddenly gets angry at something you casually said. Your friend jumps to his feet and starts yelling and cussing at you and telling you that your a worthless pile of shit and he even threatens to fight you? What do you do? Do you get emotional and angry? Do you start to yell and curse back? Do you try to start a fight? The grounded person stays calm and whatever action he takes he does so consciously and non-reflexively. The grounded person is stable, nothing can topple him. He is like the earth and the mountains...always experiencing hardships of all kinds....snow, rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes, earthquakes....but still he grows and flourishes, still he continues on the path that he knows in his heart is right for him. IMO that is what it means to be grounded and these are qualities you can gain from practicing meditation and also qualities that complement your meditation practice. -My 2 cents, Peace

IME creating complicated philosophies do not increase one's overall well-being nor does excess desire help the individual achieve lasting joy, peace and contentment in life. My 2 cents, Peace

When the mind is active it is it's nature to collect things....whether it is books, money, cars...etc. When the mind is settled and at peace...contentment will reign in your life. Desiring more than one needs means your are still caught up in the survival process. "He who knows he has enough is rich" Tao Te Ching -My 2 cents, Peace

Love is also a very strong bond...and often can be a very painful one. I believe that is what this whole thread is about. IME i have found that when women (generally speaking) break up with a man they often still want to keep their ex on the back-burner even when their having relations with other men. I have seen this happen to various male friends of mine. Subconsciously or consciously IME women want to keep that cord running because it gives them a certain level of psychological and emotional support... this is a very immature thing to do....however, many women are very very insecure and are comforted by having that "Nest Egg" for back up. Many men go along with this situation even though it may be painful for them because their still hurting and clinging to the cord and might have some false hopes of repairing the relationship and also because they are usually not aware that their ex is sleeping with other men. Ideally, when a relationship ends the best feelings that each person can have for the other is mutual Respect but also a level of Detachment and a feeling of Conclusiveness about the whole situation. Love can be extremely entangling. -My 2 cents, Peace

IME and IMO the energies we are putting out into the world consciously or unconsciously be it thoughts, actions, emotions or any kind of energy work are not only shaping the world around us but also bringing different experiences into our lives. In theory, you can create your life consciously and in proportion to the degree of control you have over your own energies. The more you cultivate the more personal power you develop. IME it is much easier to create one's life in accordance with one's own deeper wisdom. If you try to create with the ego it can be an uphill battle. I feel the idea that Taoism emphasizes only passivity is a misconception. Taoism emphasizes doing what is natural and letting oneself act spontaneously according the situation and the dictates of the higher self. Intuitive action can be both active and passive...there is a time for both. -My 2 cents, Peace

Supposedly one of the problems people have when severing the cord is they will actually re-attach it after severing it by thinking about the person and getting old emotions stirred up again. Be wary of this...detach yourself. Like Rainbow said don't think about her. Good Luck in your practices. -My 2 cents, Peace
