  1. Hello I like to learn how to feel emotions again.

Welcome to TDB. I do a bit of Healing work. Lmk if you'd like any help.
  2. "Black chi" (?)

Specific types of Yin energy have a "darker" quality to them.
  3. Some Zhan Zhuang expierence

There are thousands of different energetic and meditative practices. The important thing is to understand the root goal of your training and then align yourself with practices that are helping you reach that goal.
  4. Some Zhan Zhuang expierence

When energy is running through the energetic tubes of your body it will naturally toss out unhealthy sediment in its path. This can trigger spontaneous movements in the body and many other sensations. It's part of the process.
  5. Damaged lower dantian

Definitely whenever doing different energetic techniques, give it 30-60 min in-between each so that the energetics of each method don't collide.
  6. Hands hurt after trying to feel chi

Chi can create an enormous variety of sensations. Most common forms of discomfort for me, is if i'm around people who are feeling anxiety, anger or are simply bleeding crappy chi. In terms of the pain your feeling....not sure....could be some minor chi sickness from the exertion. In gradually developing your sensitivity, over years of practice....your clarity on these matters will grow. Zhan Zhuang is a great practice. Congrats.
  7. Consistent qigong practice will develop your intuitive capacities.
  8. All of these methods you mentioned are very different and vast categories in themselves. I would recommend you start getting books on each category and see what clicks for you. There are many books on Angelic, Western Ritual Magick and Reiki. Get busy understanding each current.
  9. Godhood is something that is quite possible to achieve as a human being. Though my understanding of that may be different from others. Interacting with deities....not particularly difficult, if you have the patience to cultivate a relationship. Daily offerings are powerful.
  10. Damaged lower dantian

I do a bit of healing work. Let me know if you'd like me to take a look.
  11. .

Always found it kind of funny...instructions in the way are not difficult to find....it is the ferocious intensity needed to walk the path which is most difficult to acquire.
  12. Some more advice needed on practice

Lot of paths, its important to find what energies you as an individual are most strongly resonant with and walk the path true to your nature. Discovering this is a process.
  13. Some more advice needed on practice

He has a youtube channel, not watched any of it yet, but may be of useful. https://www.youtube.com/user/ThunderWizarddotcom/videos I have listened to every episode of his podcast, it is excellent, though no longer active. https://thunderwizard.podbean.com
  14. Some more advice needed on practice

I read one of Fivelementao's books on Thunder Shamanism and enjoyed it, but never went to deep with any of his methods. The Norse current is wide and deep and i ended up finding my place among other streams.
  15. change name request

Can i change my name to RiverSnake ?
  16. Newbie here, hope to learn from everyone

I personally love Wuxia Novels. Martial Peak is my favorite along with A Sorcerers Journey. There are many different styles of Internal Martial Arts. If your looking for a distinctly American system that has practical martial applications and the internal art...you may look into Hoshinjutsu Budo Ryu. http://hoshinbudo.com One of the best Tai Chi players i've ever seen who is a skilled martial artist and internal practitioner is Stephen Watson. I had the privilege of training with him previously. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC72jshRCtBk9BrMN8ZYb_hA/videos I also know some Silat players whom are skilled fighters and have a deep understanding of the internal components. My old Silat Guru, Santiago Dobles. https://thewarriorscave.blogspot.com -Nothing else comes to mind. Best of luck.
  17. Newbie

    Welcome to TDB.
  18. Dealing with heat

Find a tree with shade and bring lots of water. Energy work burns through water.
  19. Forays into "Folk magic"

A couple you may enjoy: -Six Ways by Aidan Watcher -Besom Stang and Sword by Christopher Orapello -The Elements of Spellcraft by Jason Miller
  20. Welcome Post

Before you choose a "style", it is important that you determine what your goals are....different methods lead to different spaces.
  21. Greetings :)
